Mom's One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book

First the package arrived, I opened the book and it was bound backwards so if I want to write in it I have to open it from the back. I thought about returning it, but didn't want to deal with that. It literally just had blank lines where you can write. I suggest just recording it on your computer and saving it/printing it or making something like this yourself. Definitely not worth the purchase.

Great little book. I love there is something like this for our kids. The pages are thick and I love that there is a ribbon to mark your place. I write a little big, so I've had to adjust smaller to make sure I get all my thoughts down in the day area. I like that there is a place in the back for important dates. This is the perfect little memory book!

Love this memory book! Bought one for myself and now I give one to all of my friends when they give birth. Even in the busy life of a mom, I know I can set aside a minute to write a line or two a day. I love that one day I'll be able to look back on my daughter's first weeks and see how excited I was when she first smiled at me and other milestones.

Mother of her first born who is very organized - takes ton of photo's - really loves this book and she is they type that will probably keep it going for 5 years. It is short few sentence thoughts which is perfect and keeps you from rambling. Could be quite a keepsake years from now when the child is an adult to read.

I got this diary for Christmas and absolutely LOVE IT! I wish I had received one when my older kids were little. There is enough space on each day's section for about 3-4 sentences, which is perfect! The only reason I didn't give it five starts is that the beautiful cover is marred by a huge product sticker on the back that you cannot peel off easily.

Such a sweet way to document your little ones' lives. I have one for each daughter and I write in them nightly. I'm certain they will love reading these when they're older. The books are easy to write in and have enough space to write what I need.

Got this for my mom, she absolutely loves it, but it is EXTREMELY SMALL! Very hard to fit even the smallest of thoughts into it. Don't buy this as a diary, buy it as a "most interesting thing that happened that day" book. If you do that, it won't let you down. Other than the size, the build quality is amazing. The binding on the book is nice, the pages are nice, and the cover is well made. The other reviews said it was pretty small, but it is REALLY small. You could fit more than 2 on a normal piece of paper.

I absolutely love this book!!! Great quality and I love the idea of being able to write a little tid bit each day to look back on. This is one of my favorite purchases I've made. It would be a great gift for a mom too!!

I know several moms who have gotten this at their baby shower, so I bought one for a friend for hers. It's such a cute idea to get down just 1 line a day for five years, so you at least write something. Otherwise, we moms get busy and overwhelmed, and the thought of sitting down to write just doesn't happen. You can handle a 1 sentence update per day though.

I bought this book for myself and absolutely LOVE it! It is on my list of things that every new mother needs to have! Even not a new mother. My daughter is 4 and I started it this year. It has just enough room to write a cute little something.

The book came with no wrapping- the cover was dirty. This book is supposed to be used EVERYDAY for 5 years. I open today, and the pages are literally falling out. Save your money and buy a nicer book- thisnis going in the garbage

This is exactly what every new mom needs. The perfect ONE minute way to document the day for the first 5 years of your baby's life. I love that all 5 years go on one page so you can look back and see how different things are year by year. I have a regular baby book that I fill out with milestones but this is perfect for cute stories, precious moments, and all those tiny details that there simply isn't enough room to put in a traditional baby book. I wish I would have found this book from the day my daughter was born.

Very cute, simple and just what I expected. Beautiful gift to give to an expectant mother. I just wish the space was a bit bigger for each day. Great way to document little milestones and happenings in your child's life.

Very simple design. Not a very modern look, but the concept was a neat one - to write a sentence or two each day for five years so you can look back on a particular day to see what happened each year.

I received this book as a gift before my daughter was born and have now bought 3 for expecting friends. As a new mom you have very little spare time to "journal." This book is perfect because you literally only have enough room to write about 3 sentences each day. It takes the pressure off of you to come up with pages of profound writing every day. I record "firsts" and other observations about my daughter and motherhood. Sometimes I wait and fill in a few days at a time. It has been nice to look back and know dates and ages when things happened.

This journal was one of my favorite gifts I received before the birth my first child. It's perfect for jotting quick notes to document those amazing/exhausting early days, and even better for my toddler's quips. Now with two kids, it is nice to look back on the chronicle of our growing family--milestones and memories galore. Wonderful baby shower gift!

I've bought these journals for everyone in my family and this is the second one for me. They are a perfect way to record and remember your life. I love that there's just enough room to write the most important details. The book is well made and looks nice.

I am very excited to start this little adventure! I always try to keep a journal but this seems more achievable. Knocked a star because it sadly arrived dirty and a bit grungy. I wish the store took more care in their packaging.

This is just enough. The space to write is tiny. But it also allows me to remember something everyday without feeling the pressure to sit down and write for 20 minutes. Great purchase for a busy Mother.

What a cool concept! It only takes a few minutes to write an entry. Each page is labeled as the date and has 5 different spots for each year. Leave this on your nightstand and it can be the last thing you do before you turn in for the night. This would be a unique mothers day or birthday present for Mom.

A wonderful baby shower gift. I received one and write in it every day -- and have now started to give them out as well. Allows your to reflect each day, but also very briefly! Perfect for a busy mom.
