Nemesis Games (The Expanse)

This is the last book in this series that I'm going to buy or read. If you didn't know, these are being turned in a TV series, a fact which is completely obvious to any reader, since every chapter ends on a shocking revelation or similar thing, perfect for a commercial break. Dear "Mr. Corey": I bought the book - I'm not about to change the channel! Most authors eventually learn how to move on from this cheesy writing style, but this series holds on to it for dear life like an old sitcom. You get to learn about the characters' history in this book, which makes it interesting, but the other problems in the writing meant I wasn't even going to buy this one until a friend mentioned this book had character background in it.

The Expanse series Rocks!!! Lots of intrigue and drama...James S.A Corey is doing an excellent job of fleshing out his characters and making the believable people plus giving plenty of stand out action to make the books in this series fast reads.

The Expanse series has been Space Opera at its best, well developed characters you come to care about, and numerous complicated inter woven story lines. A great read, that leaves you ready for the next book.

Corey delivers another edge of the seat thriller, deftly juggling 4 interwoven stories. I never hit a point where I didn't understand where his characters were, which is impressive for a book this large of this style

Just when you thought the characters couldn't get any richer and the writing any better, the author take us on a roller coaster of sheer literary perfection. The sequel to "Nemesis Games" simply can't come soon enough!

Very enjoyable and good pace. It's great to learn some of the back story of our favorite characters. I am looking forward to the next installment. I understand that SyFy channel will be bringing The Expanse to its network. Very Cool!!!
