I read on average 5-8 books a week and I wound up reading these 4 books in one weekend. I am so ready for the 5th one. It covers all of my interest including world religion, pop culture, nerd-ism, geek stuff, classical literature and animal lover. It appeals to the Renaissance Man in you.
Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I miss the old characters. Also, the whole story is much simpler and pretty generic. Looks like Hearne lost his creativity. I really hope the next book is better, as the first three books were one of the best I ever read.

Usually Kevin has a great story with plenty of humor thrown in. I have to say was more disappointed as the story line and lots of comments show that the author is a big Socialist with a humongous environmentalist streak showing through. Comments like his novice saying her douche bag dad works for big oil and likes cheating and destroying people making a big profit. It didn't stop there as Atticus takes delight in stopping coal mining as part of his deal with the elemental to move gold for Coyote. Makes me think he is a big supporter of Obama and truly has no idea about energy consumption and that solar and wind just cant cut it as a competitive source of power.

I am so tired of hearing about evil people in oil and evil people who work in the energy sector from the left. We are being bombarded from the left and the Hollywood elite to hate normal working people who essentially provide us our energy and power. Also everything we use from clothes to ipads are from fossil fuels. We should stop demonizing the producers and venerating the lazy people who don't work for or earn anything.

I have enjoyed his previous novels and have recommended him but am truly hoping this is not a theme he will pursue in his future stories. Could only give it 3 stars due to the political thoughts played out in the story. He still had good action and some funny humor strewn in.
A Plague of Giants: A Novel (Seven Kennings) :: Called (Southern Watch Book 1) :: Two Tales of the Iron Druid Chronicles :: Hunted: The Iron Druid Chronicles, Book 6 :: Three Slices

Another great story of Atticus. A great, easy read that flies by! I like how the series introduces new characters and ideas slowly so the reader isn't overwhelmed by the huge amount of information presented.
