This book was horrible. I listen to audio books daily and this is the first review I've written. If I can save one person from wasting their hard earned money on this book, I've helped. I've listened to several YA books but this is so juvenile and unrealistic, it's just sad. I listened to the whole, painful book just to write a honest review. I really don't understand how it received so many five star reviews. Buyer beware!

I disliked the lack of sleep I got because I couldn't stop reading it and the guilt from falling in love with Esban even though I'm happily married. I have no choice but to follow this author and make sure to stock up on coffee for totally worthwhile future sleep deprivation.

This is the absolute realest book I have ever read. It's about real life, real love, real happiness, real hope and real loss. It wring me out so thoroughly I was amazingly spent when I was done. Loved this book. This was my first time reading Jessica Park and now I'm a lifetime fan.

I just finished reading this emotional story. It was beautifully written. Allison and Esben are very likable characters and the story line was quite original. Like nothing I have ever read before. This is the first book I've read by this author and can't wait to check out her others.

I would recommend this book and all her books to anyone alive, breathing and of course reading. I haven't picked up one yet that hasn't absolutely blown me away. Hers are not for the faint of heart. She doesn't always tell us what we want to hear, but she certainly has a way of putting it into words.

Such a gripping story that broke my heart repeatedly throughout this book! Esben And Allison, Steffi, Kerry..... So many broken, brave, strong, heartbreaking characters so beautifully written I couldn't put this book down!!!! This is my first Jessica Park book but it won't be my last!! A 5 star must read!!!!!

I'm convinced the reviews for 180 seconds that claim this novel to be life changing experience, breathtakingly beautiful etc are either paid ad or written by people that would think 50 shades of Grey or Twilight novels are literary art.

I positively adored this unique and sweet story. It was more emotional than I was expecting, heartbreaking at times and heartwarming at others. This book was beautifully written and executed. Highly recommend!

Wow! I was completely touched by this story. I began to read it and got hooked into a straight through read, I just didn't want to put it down. I felt so many feelings, I laughed and cried and felt the characters so completely. Buy this book but be sure to have enough time to sit down and read it.

A love story like no other. It all starts with 180 seconds. An experiment. It follows with more social experiments and the love the world has been afraid to show.

An unbelievable experience that will keep you tied to the book until the finish.

Kudos Ms. Park!

After seeing the amount of reviews on this book I decided to give it a shot.

Don't get me wrong it was not bad. The whole storyline was so unique. My favorite parts were all of Esbens experiments and the people's reaction. Also I LOVED simon!!! Those 2 rocked this book.

Wow. What a refreshing read. This story had friendship, heart and soul all wrapped up in Allison, Essen, Steffi, Simon and Kerry. All intertwined with delicately to each other. At times a sad read but uplifting. Loved the story, loved the book.

Super Wounded Mary Jane type character is saved from herself by the goody two shoes social media star. Brownie points for including a bonus cancer death, a token gay character, and a road trip across America fueled by the (impossible) kindness of strangers. It turns out you can write a love story worse than Twilight.

I've read this on KU.

This book is pure genius from start to finish. It is very relatable in these days. The characters has depth. Allison and Esben's first meeting was so powerful, I had to read it again after I've read it the first time. I cried while reading it. Everyone should read this book. It's one of my favorite reads this year.

It has been a long while since a book has made me ugly cry, but this hit me right in the feels! I've had this book for a while now, but because I read other reviews, I knew this book deserved my undivided attention, so I waited to have time to emotionally process this book. I was NOT disappointed. Ms. Park, masterfully takes us through the evolution of Allison. Despite having read the reviews, I was SO not ready for emotional journey Allison embarks on. More than just a romance, this is a true love story.

No words would do this book justice. All the emotions one can feel are felt while reading this book. Jessica Park has created such a believable story! I have never cried, laughed, been heart broken, fallen in love, and inspired the way I was reading this book. I don't usually write reviews but this is review worthy.

I read the book In less then a day and I'll be the first to say I will forever hold this book close to my heart.

Not only is there love and inspiration flowing through out the book but there's also healing souls, damaged souls, and friendship that resembles more of a soul mate situation then anything.

I encourage everyone to read this as I know very few if any would regret it.

The story made me laugh and cry. You could feel the heartache and love. Esben was a person that believed that people truly do care and have love for humanity. Allison had a rough beginning but love prevails.

This is such a heartwarming book. I cheered all the way for Allison and Esben and the other relationships that healed Allison along the way. I cried pretty fiercely near the end too. For the most part, I enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone who likes cute, contemporary reads. I thought this read was a cute read and a feel good story. My favorite part about this story was the college atmosphere that was built along with the social media aspect. While I really liked many characters in this book, I struggled with how "perfect" most of them were. A moment at the end bothered me as well but... ya know... spoilers. But, yes. Read this because it was adorable.

The story was beautifully written. From the beginning I was drawn into a world that was designed to keep everyone out. Then slowly the walls were broken down and the view became more clear as the story progressed. If you've ever lost hope in humanity and need a little reminder that there is still good in the world this is the book for you!

It only took 180 seconds to fall in love with this book. I was expecting one thing but it surprised me with others. I felt so much love and emotions while reading this book. This story was fabulous. I must admit that it started a little slow but once I kept reading it got better. -Conflates introversion, shyness and social anxiety
-Has two female characters who greet each other with boob bumps
-Uses a social media star as the unflawed romantic lead
-Includes an unnecessary rape plot
-Tries to make it sound OK for a sister to be massively involved in her brother’s love life

I’ve been sitting here staring at my computer screen for a while now trying to put together this review. It’s been hard because I don’t think I can adequately write about how 180 Seconds made me feel. Just thinking about this book makes me so emotional.

Jessica Park has been one of my auto-buy authors since I stumbled upon her novel Left Drowning. I’ve read every one of her books because they always manage to touch me in ways I’m not expecting. She has me wanting to know her characters and everything about them from the first sentence, chapter and page. I’m always surprised by what I find, but never by how much I enjoy the journey. And I loved the journey I took in 180 Seconds. There was so much raw emotion in it. I couldn’t help being swallowed up by all of the feelings. So many things touched me deeply. I tried to hold back tears so many times unsuccessfully. 180 Seconds made me feel more than a book has made me feel in a long time.

Allison was such a vulnerable character. Everything about her life had been and was hard. She wasn’t your typical college student. She craved privacy and anonymity. Allison was afraid to let people in. That made being pulled into a social experiment with the famous Ebsen Baylor all the more nerve-wracking. Spending 180 seconds with him did something to her, something big. It was exciting and stressful to be in her mind.

Ebsen’s point of view wasn’t included in this book, but I didn’t need it. His character was so open that his thoughts and feelings came across well. I loved his part in Allison’s awakening. Their connection was so raw. I could feel it. He was an exceptionally amazing guy, and learning what experiences made him who he was made me believe Ebsen could actually be as amazing as he was.

All of the secondary characters in this book were incredibly important to the story. I adored them all, and I would love to read future books about their stories. I do have to rave about one particular character, though: Steffi. Steffi was Allison’s best friend. She was a tough cookie and the only person Allison could rely on for a long time. I loved how they got each other as only best friends can. The way Steffi pushed Allison out of her comfort zone was very special. Their friendship was truly touching.

One of my favorite things about 180 Seconds was how it portrayed social media. It showed the good and bad of being so connected in this day and age. It also showed how easy it is to be happy about the positive recognition received and how hard it is to deal with the negative.

This is where I’m going to stop my review. I know I haven’t told you much about the story itself, but I don’t want to give anything away. 180 Seconds was such a beautifully written journey. It’s one that should be experienced for yourself. What I will say is that I absolutely adored this book. I didn’t put it down once I started it. I couldn’t. It was just too special to take a break from. 180 Seconds is going on the list of books I recommend to friends, and will be one I give often as a gift.
