The Revealing Stories Behind the World's Most Interesting Facts

This is a collection of very short and amusing anecdotes about historical topics. Each is very loosely tied to the next one by some common idea. Reading this book is rather like eating popcorn. It is mildly tasty but addicting. It is a good book for times when you are too tired or bored to take on anything serious.

This was a very fun book to read. While I knew some of the information in it prior to reading it, there was much I did not know. The bonus facts were interesting and fun and often made for good transitions to the next story.

'Now I Know' is a fantastic read for everyone; even those who are followers of Dan's daily email. The information is interesting, well-researched, and formatted for either a quick read or a long sit. I bought one for myself and two as gifts.

Right now, I'm reading this book from a kindle app on my phone. This book offers brief snd entertaining tidbits of information to be gathered at your leasure when you have literally just a spare moment in your day. A fun read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the way this book was written. Each fact was described in detail but never more than 2-5 pages. Perfect for a book to reach for while waiting to pick your kid up from school/practiced etc.

Exactly like the daily newsletter, with lots of new content to boot. Dan does a great job of turning what otherwise may seem like a boring topic into an interesting shot story. For any trivia junkies out there, this is a must-have.

Only some chapters are Interesting to read. Most chapters are about America, space exploration, base ball, civil war. Interesting facts outside the western world are obviously not the focus of this book.
