I feel like Fools Gold is my surrogate town. I enjoy each return visit. Patience and Justice have friends, love, flaws, and demons as many do . There is always something relatable about Mallery's characters. I know there are always happy endings in Fools Gold, but I enjoy the real problems and obstacles that lead to the happy ending, just as happen in real life. I love the way the women rally around each other to cheer, comfort, and support each other through good and bad times. I can't wait for the next time I visit town!

I love returning to Fool's Gold. I feel like I'm visiting old friends & i am home. The characters in this series always makes me laugh out loud & smile. I specifically love that I receive a HEA! The Fool's Gold Series is one of my favorites.

This book is great for a summer afternoon when you want to get away from your everyday life & relax with friends. No demands just acceptance. We all need to find a place like Fool's Gold!

Fool's Gold is a fantastic fictional town created by the talented Susan Mallery. I've read over a dozen books and novellas from this series, but this one stands out. Her stories always have chemistry, conflict, passion, and humor; but this one just seems to bump it all up a notch. A real must- read.

Justice and Patience were best friends in high school until the day Justice disappeared. Years later with fond memeories of Fool's Gold he returns to locate his new business there. One again he discovers Patience and her daughter living there. Despite Justice's reservations about his ability to be a good husband, love finds a way to prevail.
Another heartwarming story from Fool's Gold by Susan Mallery, an author not to be missed.

Once again Susan Mallery hit a Home Run with Just One Kiss.
I enjoyed the story line very much, it could happen in real life. I loved the fact that Susan brings back characters from other Fools Gold stories.
Due to Susan does not have an Epiolgue in this series this lets me know how others got on.
I base my books on if I would re-read a book. From the rating I gave it. I will be re-reading Just One Kiss. Don't you just Love a Happy Ending. I do.

This is my first Susan Mallery book and I'm disappointed. I'm halfway through the book and I don't think I'll be able to finish it. It's plotless, justice and Patience keep dropping characters, the heroine thinks immaturely but is capable of starting a big business, there's no chemistry between the 2 main characters, lots of unnecessary dialogues and scenes. I feel like this book is just tells you a little bit something about every single person in Fool's Gold.

Fools Gold Series is one of my favorites! When the new book comes out it's an automate buy for me. Just One Kiss, did not disappoint! Both characters had interesting back stories and you instantly loved them. I think what I love most about this series is you always have the characters from the previous books come back and add to the story! If you are looking for nice summer day read with a swoon worthy HEA, this is your book! I do highly recommend reading the series from the start, because it's just that good!

Another fun story about the town of Fool's Gold. I love revisiting the old characters, but I love meeting all the new characters too. Knowing that Justice had a history with Patience and the town, makes you want to cheer for him even more. The story was great, the characters were so enjoyable, and watching both the personal and professional lives of the main characters grow was so much fun. I would highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next story to come out.

Of Course Mallery hits it out of the park again! (spoiler alert) Dealing with the issue of being a single parent, along with the fact that the non-custodial parent gave up parental rights. As I live this every day, I have to say she did an excellent job. And as with every Mallery book she has you laughing, weepy, and "on the edge of your seat", if that's where you choose to read. I can not wait to see what she has for us next!!!

How she keeps it fresh each year is beyond me but as usual she does not disappoint. Storyline is great and the fact that she helps shed light on how MS (Multiple Sclerosis)affects people but yet does not have to define them just ads to the whole plot. When announced that Susan Mallery was going to release another trilogy set in the town of Fool's Gold, CA...I was all over it! Fool's Gold is a unique town where there seems to be a shortage of men. However, the men that keep moving back to town are HOT, HOT, HOT. Sure, there were sappy parts and parts where I wanted to strangle both Justice and Patience, but that's what makes a good story.

With writing that keeps the pace and a return of some old favorites, Mallery has captured my attention for the summer. Besides, who doesn't love a summer vacation where the boy gets his girl, a girl gets her dream and you don't have to pay for the airfare to a mythical town in California!

Just finished reading Just One Kiss and enjoyed every word. Justice (isn't that a great name) and Patience were childhood friends and one was not telling the truth! Years later, the friends get to know each other in a totally different and grown-up way. The book is part of a series but you can read it as a stand-alone book also. But if you read it as a stand alone, you will want to go back and read the earlier books and wait for the next book in the series. Enjoy!

I actually would rate this 3 1/2 stars. I was turned off by the names of the H and h. I found Patience to be a bit annoying, but I did like Justice. The story line was a good one. I think I will enjoy picking up the next book. I have to admit that I am way behind on the town of Fools Gold. The book can easily stand alone. I did not find myself lost in what was going on. Susan Mallery is one of my "go to" authors.

Just open Susan Mallery's newest tale of Fool's Gold and you won't want to put it down. This story of Patience McGraw and Justice Garrett will make you believe in fate. As we reunite with the community of Fool's Gold and all the wonderful inhabitants, you are drawn into their lives. Susan's writing style brings you up close to her characters. You just want to move to Fool's Gold and go to Brew-haha for a latte. This loving story of Patience, her mother, her daughter Lillie, and Justice will get your heart beating faster and believe in fate and true love. Be ready for June 26th for Two Of A Kind, the next Fool's Gold Tale.

I agree with another reader who said you don't have to read from book one to know who the characters from previous books are. I was expecting this to be about Ford, so a little surprised, but that just means that now there will be one about him after the one about Felicia and Gideon, so I won't be deprived of my Fool's Gold fix anytime soon.

I love all Susan Mallery's books especially her Fool's Gold Series. She always has a little twist to her story line that makes her books so interesting. I found that this one was a "can't put my book down" book. My husband had to make dinner that night and I did finish it in one day. The only problem with that is now I have to wait a while until the next one comes out. I just can't get enough!!!

I thoroughly enjoy the Fool's Gold Series. Each book makes me want to pack up my belongings and move there just to watch the action and maybe give some of these reluctant characters a nudge in the right direction. Every book I've read (and I've read every one in the series) leaves me anticipating the next book release; I buy it quick, read it (sometimes even while waiting at stop lights) and am disappointed when its finished. I hope Susan Mallery NEVER runs out of Fool's Gold characters. Thank you Susan.

As usual, the characters of Fool's Gold welcomed me back with open arms. We get to watch as Patience and Justice reunite after his abrupt and mysterious disappearance when they were kids. Once again, Ms. Susan brings you right into the heart of the story. This book, to me, more so than any of the others in the series, had me turning pages to get to the end, but trying to slow down so I could savor it until the next book comes out.

Susan Mallery did it again! She has such a great way to transport the reader right into that tiny little town of Fool's Gold. After finding this author when she was well into this series, I quickly read through the entire series which left me in love with all of the characters, and with the town itself. I will continue to read every book she writes, and look forward to meeting every single person she allows us to. Just One Kiss is about childhood friends who were seperated due to some unforunate circumstances. Not to worry, Justice never fell out of love with Patience, and had to come back to Fool's Gold in order to capture her heart once again. What a fantastic read, please keep them coming Susan!

Heart-warming, emotional, funny and romantic all wrapped up in "Just One Kiss". You won't want to put it down and it leaves you wanting more yet happy cause you know the next book is just around the corner. You really don't want to miss reading "Just One Kiss".

As a long time Susan Mallery fan, (I think I've read all her books), I enjoyed Just One Kiss but this is not one of her best. The first third of the book and the last third were strong but the middle third of this book was definitely a weakly written portion just waiting for the last third of the book, especially since I know how good her books can be. Like I said, as a long time fan, I did enjoy reading this, so I'm glad I did but it is definitely not one of my favorites by her.

I loved the story of Patience and Justice. It demonstrates that good things happen to those who wait. Learning about their backgrounds and how they moved forward from hardship made the reader fall more in love with these two characters. Of course having a second romance between Patience's mom, Ava, and her former father-in-law, Sam, made this story more enjoyable and harder to put down.

It is great to be back in Fool's Gold! I love the Fool's Gold series. Just One Kiss is another great romance novel by Susan Mallery. I love Patience and Justice's story it keeps you turning the pages to find out how they will end up together.As an added bonus you get to read about all your other Fools Gold friends and see glances into the next stories to come. I can't wait to read them all!!!

Welcome back to Fools Gold! This time we have Patience and Justice and what a delightful pair they are! This is truly a story of you can get what you wish for and its never to late for love. Their story had me grinning from page one! Not only did I enjoy the story but I loved catching up wiht some familiar faces along the way. Just One Kiss needs to be on top of your summer reading list. I can guarantee you will not want to put this book down till the end!

Just One Kiss is a delightful summer read about memories and wishes from the past coming together in the present. Patience has never forgotten the one guy from her past who mysteriously disappeared before she could declare her feelings to him. Then as suddenly as he disappered he reappears all grown up but the spark is still there between Patience and Justice. As always there are a delightful cast of family members and townspeople to keep the Fools Gold spark alive.

Just One Kiss is a fun summer read! Another fantastic addition to the Fool's Gold series. In Just One Kiss, take the "what if" questions of a teenage love, add some sizzle, some mystery, of course a bad guy, some hot bodyguards, and a town where the people look out for each other and... (soft sigh) Enjoy. The only thing I did not care for were the main characters names, Patience and Justice. However, the story made up for the names issue.

Remember your first crush, how your heart beat and how you couldnt wait to tell him? By the time Patience gets up the nerve to tell Justice how she feels, he's gone, lock, stock and barrel. Many years pass and he returns to Fools Gold. Will he remember her, or has she forgotten him? If you are a fan of Susan Mallery's Fools Gold series, then you need to read this one...all your favorite characters are back and you will love the new characters as well.
A great summer read!

The story of Justice, Patience, and her daughter Lillie is a perfect addition to the Fool's Gold series. The story speaks of fears and insecurities many of us have experienced and given a resolution we all hope to find. I enjoyed the introduction of new characters I hope Susan will bring forward in future books and the presence of ones already familiar. I also was quite surprised with the ending as it was not what I had been expecting. As always, Susan Mallery leaves me waiting for the next book from this entertaining series.

And NY Times Best Selling Author Susan Mallery did just that in "Just One Kiss". This is a book that you can't put down and when your through reading the love story of Patience and Justice, Ms. Mallery has left you with wonderful memories of one of the best books I've read in the entire Fools Gold series. There is something for everyone in this book, but what Ms. Mallery should be most commended for is her depiction of how Ava, Patience's mom, lives her life while having Multiple Sclerosis. This book has left such a good impression on me I'm going to go read it again right now!

There are times when a series seems to drag on and make you wonder why you go back. Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series is not one of them! I found her books by accident and was grateful there were eight or nine books out so I could just lose myself in the town. I feel like I know the place when I go back to 'visit'. Just One Kiss gave me another reason to check in on Mayor Marsha and Denise Hendrix and all the little chicks they keep track of without being overbearing. I like that the characters from book one have not disappeared in book eleven.

I loved Justice and Patience's story. It was all about second chances and the one who got away. Both had to take separate journeys, but thankfully, those trails led back to each other. I am counting the days until the next one arrives.

I love Susan Mallery and I love coming "home" to Fool's Gold. I couldn't help but fall in love with Patience and Justice in this book. Both characters were so likable and felt like family. I could so see myself going to Jo's Bar with the girls or going to one of the town festivals because Susan makes you feel like you are part of the Fool's Gold family. I love Just One Kiss and can't wait for the next book!!!

If you want a good, absorbing read, get a hold of the latest installment in the Fool's Gold series, "Just One Kiss". It is very easy reading and the main characters Justice and Patience have a depth and authenticity that makes them believable. Witty banter, developing relationships, a cute kid, and a nail biting ending have you enjoying it to the last page. A must read!

Just One Kiss, like other Fools Gold books, give me a feeling of visiting home each Summer! I love to meet the new folks there and love to catch glimpses of the people I met and fell in love with from Summer's past...

I have read every single book that has been published about this fictional town of Fool's Gold and so far, I have not been disappointed.

Every year, I wait for the new set to come out and buy them as soon as they're available.

Fool's Gold reminds me of Gilmore Girls, the small town setting, where everyone knows each other and each other's business, the whacky and unique characters, that will in a heartbeat, come together to lend a helping hand.

If anyone wants a good read, pick up the first book in the series, Chasing Perfect. From the first page, I was captivated and couldn't wait for more stories.

I would love to live in this town, knowing I had the love and support I needed, to get me through both the good times and bad.

Susan Mallery's return to Fool's Gold does not disappoint. The town that she has created always leaves me with the burning desire to buy a one way ticket to CA! The story of Patience and Justice was a sweet tale of a rekindled friendship that leads to love. If you've never visited Fool's Gold, you should, but be prepared to have to go out and snatch up the previous books!

This is just another wonderful book written by Susan Mallery...love the new characters she brings to each book while keeping us filled in on the lives of the others. She gives Patience and Justice just the right amount of strength while keeping them soft and loving and showing us their weakness. If you haven't read this series...go for it you wont be sorry...

I just love all of the books that keep coming in the fools gold series. I love the way that you get your own idea of what each character looks like just by the descriptions in these books. Patience's strong will and outspokeness make her a fun character to read about and to hope that it all turns out. I so enjoyed this book and cant wait for the next one in the series. Read Susan Mallery and she will fast become a favorite author.

I love every time Susan Mallery invites us to visit Fool's Gold! This time was no less special!
Justice and Patience's story was refreshing from other romances because they were friends and their love blossomed! There was no animosity from the beginning and that made the story refreshing. I couldn't put the book down finishing it in a day!
Now if only I didn't have to wait for my next visit to Fool's Gold! Keep the stories coming Susan!

I have falling in love the Fools Gold. Many stories within the stories. These three books are about a special ops team wanting to go back to normal after military. 1st book is about young kid in witness protection program. He came back to see his 1st love but is afraid his life is to dark and won't be able to have her love him.

Return to Fool's Gold! I really enjoy this series, and this book is no different, in fact I can't wait for the rest of the books about the newest residents in Fool's Gold. The characters are believable and enjoyable to read about and spend time with. As usual there is a happy ever after and some quirks and turns on the way there. While some plot points are easy to see coming, it didn't diminish my enjoyment of this book.

Enjoyed this next instalment of life in Fools Gold. It takes just one person to believe in you, that was what Patience had to get thru to Justice. He was not like his father. With the help of many, but Oggie I think made the light bulb shine brighter. Life is to short, you find love, you'll find aceptence , believe in yourself, grab on ,hold tight and enjoy the ride.

I love Justice and Patience. Their story was unique and fun. I really. Fool's Gold is growing by leaps and bounds and bodyguards are always a nice addition. I applaud Ms Mallery for her imagination and how it evolves into a fascinating story. I am so glad she is the storyteller she is that we can enjoy and lose ourselves in Fool's Gold.

Take another trip to Fools Gold and meet Justice and Patience, it is a story of enduring love and all the ups and downs that go along with it. Justice returns after a long absence to start a new business and hopefully a new life. Patience is still the girl he remembers but much more wary, she has a daughter to think about as well. Come along for the ride and watch them fall in love again.

Finished this book in one day. As with the other Fool's Gold books loved it. Patience and Justice knew each other years ago and Justice ended up leaving without telling Patience. He has come back to town and they are getting to know each other all over again. They learn a lot about each other and become friends again. Love the book. Keep up good work Susan Mallery.

Back to Fools Gold! Great read. Love the story of Patience & Justice, their first love and how even over time, that first love turns to lasting love. They have many obstacles in their path but it's interesting how they overcome each one. It's great to see characters from earlier Fools Gold books and catch up with their lives.

Justice and Patience were childhood friends until one day when Justice disappeared without warning. Now he's back in Fools Gold and Patience is all grown up. The sparks fly as the two can't seem to stay away from each other but Justice has to overcome his past if he wants a future with Patience. I loved this story. It had an element of mystery combined with Susan Mallery's classic sweet romantic style. This is the year of the bodyguard in Fools Gold and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Another Fools Gold jackpot! Loved the story and the new characters, plus the visits from the characters from previous Fools Gold books. Susan Mallery makes you laugh and sigh and cheer for the people and small town love, in every book. Looking forward to the other Fools Gold books on the way this summer! Thanks Susan!

I could not put it down! Talk about a Tall, Dark and Handsome - Justice...Yum! I have read all of the Fool's Gold Books thus far and always look forward to the next. I am so glad to see the population of MEN growing in town and was also happy to see "Jenel" making an "appearance"!! Now I can't wait for Ford's story!!!

I've been waiting for Justice and Patience's story forever but the wait was totally worth it. i absolutely loved this story. It had romance and a bit of action which was great. how can you not love a story where the hero and heroine have been in love for 15 years but were separated and reunited again? too sweet :)

I was excited to read Just One Kiss! I do wish there had been more of a connection, or chemistry, between Patience and Justice. I didn't feel their vibe until close to the end. Overall, the story line was good, with some great laughs; it was also nice to see how the other characters are doing. Looking forward to what's coming next!!

Another great book from Susan Mallery! Sweet romance story for Patience and Justice with a little suspense and lots of love. Besides a great love story, Mallery also included an emphasis on family and great friendships...she makes me want to live in Fool's Gold! Love the Fool's Gold series. Great read! Okay, I really wanted to like this book. I really did. But I didn't like it. Not at all.

Pieces of the plot were just too contrived and stupid. Along with some very repetitive elements from this series.

Patience and Justice (And those names, seriously?) were just too unrealistic. For one thing, Patience has always wanted to open a cafe but never had enough money to save up or make a payment. But all of a sudden, in this book, she magically gets a wealthy great aunt who leaves her enough money to start her business. Which she gets running and off the ground in about a month. Wow. If only businesses worked like this in real life. That would be wonderful. Now, I was very annoyed by this magical and automatically successful business, but I think Justice's part is worse.

Justice, a former military sniper, a man who was previously in the Witness Protection Program, settled in a small, close-knit community to open a bodyguard training facility with two friends. Now, when I read what type of business he's creating I immediately asked myself, 'what purpose would this serve in a town like Fool's Gold?' Why is a bodyguard training school necessary? Fool's Gold is a happy, relatively safe place. Not a lot of crime, and no one in need of protection that much. But bodyguard training is definitely necessary. Oh right, it isn't. It's just the only way for Justice to keep his "hardcore" background while remaining in Fool's Gold. Okay. I just don't understand why this would be successful in a place like Fool's Gold.

Now, Justice believes he is unworthy of Patience and will eventually hurt her because there's darkness in him, apparently, even though he's never been an evil person. He believes his former past as a sniper makes him evil. So he fights his feelings for her throughout the book because he doesn't want to her. I'm so tired of this. If the hero doesn't trust people or have past issues with women, he's afraid he'll hurt the heroine because he's a complete jerk. Give me something original, please.

I also feel that Mallery's attempts to strengthen the bond between Justice and Patience and her daughter fell short in certain places.

For example, can someone please explain to me why a man who had been shot would still try to make it to an opening ceremony, despite the fact that he was shot the day before? That spells idiotic to me. I don't care if he promised, when you get shot, you're allowed to break a promise that you'll show somewhere. I don't know if anyone thought that was romantic but all I could think was how stupid can you be. Now, I imagine this was supposed to show me how much he truly cares for Patience, but I was annoyed that someone who spent time as a sniper could be so silly.

And with Patience's daughter Lillie, there was this over-the-top sequence in order to build trust between Lillie and Justice. She asked him to investigate a 10 year old boy who would stare at her so he tells her mother and grandmother he'll check it out. He ends up going to a conference at their school with the boy's parents and Ava, Patience's mother. And what do we find out? The boy isn't a crazy stalker/killer like we all thought (right?), he actually just has a crush on Lillie. Who would've guessed? Not me. After all, it's very easy to understand why a grown man wouldn't possibly think that a boy following a girl his age might just happen to have a crush on said girl. Of course the kid needs to be investigated.

That whole tidbit irked me. I understand that he needed to bond with Lillie, but use a better plot device. Please.

I admit, the military angle was new, but it's so contrary to everything we usually hear about Fool's Gold, that I found it a bit jarring. It was nice to be introduced to Ford, even though I was nauseated at the way his family smothered him.

Aside from that, the only thing I can say about the book was the language was very repetitive, especially the love scenes. I've read every FG book and the language is always the same.

Some of it was also very predictable which led to it being a very boring read. I'm not sure I want to continue with this series, though Felicia and Gideon seem to be interesting characters.

That's just my personal take on this particular book. It's definitely being shelved forever.

The romance between Patience and Justice was sweet and tender. I loved how they balanced each other out and liked how he couldn't forget her. There was some element of suspense which you could see coming, but this part introduced yet someone new to the mix.

I can't wait for the next book to come out and find out what's in store for Gideon and Felicia.

Back to Fools Gold! Great read. Love the story of Patience & Justice, their first love and how even over time, that first love turns to lasting love. They have many obstacles in their path but it's interesting how they overcome each one. It's great to see characters from earlier Fools Gold books and catch up with their lives.

Justice and Patience were childhood friends until one day when Justice disappeared without warning. Now he's back in Fools Gold and Patience is all grown up. The sparks fly as the two can't seem to stay away from each other but Justice has to overcome his past if he wants a future with Patience. I loved this story. It had an element of mystery combined with Susan Mallery's classic sweet romantic style. This is the year of the bodyguard in Fools Gold and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Another Fools Gold jackpot! Loved the story and the new characters, plus the visits from the characters from previous Fools Gold books. Susan Mallery makes you laugh and sigh and cheer for the people and small town love, in every book. Looking forward to the other Fools Gold books on the way this summer! Thanks Susan!

I could not put it down! Talk about a Tall, Dark and Handsome - Justice...Yum! I have read all of the Fool's Gold Books thus far and always look forward to the next. I am so glad to see the population of MEN growing in town and was also happy to see "Jenel" making an "appearance"!! Now I can't wait for Ford's story!!!

I've been waiting for Justice and Patience's story forever but the wait was totally worth it. i absolutely loved this story. It had romance and a bit of action which was great. how can you not love a story where the hero and heroine have been in love for 15 years but were separated and reunited again? too sweet :)

I was excited to read Just One Kiss! I do wish there had been more of a connection, or chemistry, between Patience and Justice. I didn't feel their vibe until close to the end. Overall, the story line was good, with some great laughs; it was also nice to see how the other characters are doing. Looking forward to what's coming next!!

Another great book from Susan Mallery! Sweet romance story for Patience and Justice with a little suspense and lots of love. Besides a great love story, Mallery also included an emphasis on family and great friendships...she makes me want to live in Fool's Gold! Love the Fool's Gold series. Great read! Okay, I really wanted to like this book. I really did. But I didn't like it. Not at all.

Pieces of the plot were just too contrived and stupid. Along with some very repetitive elements from this series.

Patience and Justice (And those names, seriously?) were just too unrealistic. For one thing, Patience has always wanted to open a cafe but never had enough money to save up or make a payment. But all of a sudden, in this book, she magically gets a wealthy great aunt who leaves her enough money to start her business. Which she gets running and off the ground in about a month. Wow. If only businesses worked like this in real life. That would be wonderful. Now, I was very annoyed by this magical and automatically successful business, but I think Justice's part is worse.

Loved this "happy ending" book! I am a big fan of the Fool's Gold series and I enjoy the way new charachters are introduced - you just know these characters are going to get their own books so it's fun to try and figure out their stories too. I like the way real world problems are introduced into this world of happily ever after.

I love returning to Fool's Gold. Revisiting with old characters as well as meeting new ones always makes me smile and this one didn't disappoint. Patience's animated personality makes her fun to be around. And Justice, well, he just makes me swoon! The names were a little tough to take (to me Justice is a girl's name, but hey, we are all different) but overall I enjoyed it and I would recommend it.

I am a huge Susan Mallery fan and a big Fool's Gold junkie!!! I have loved all of the books in this series, but this book was one of my top three. Justice is the perfect hero and Patience is his perfect match....you won't be disappointed with this book or any of the other ones in this series. Enjoy.

If you love Fool's Gold you will love "Just One Kiss"! If you have never read a Fool's Gold book before there is no time like the present! With a lot of series you tend to get the same stories over and over with different names. Not so with this series. I love the story lines and I love that you get to catch up with some previous characters! The town of fool's Gold is the all-American town we would all love to live in, with neighbors who care and who stick up for one another. I won't give a synopsis of the book- you can read the back cover for yourself- but I'll just say that this is a great summer read!

Susan Mallery has welcomed us once again to Fool's Gold. Although it is ideal to read her books in order, you don't have to, each one can be stand alone and nudges you to go back and pick up the others. She did a wonderful job developing the characters of Patience and Justice. I really liked the fact that they were best friends in high school. And you really cheered for Patience's mom to have a truly loving relationship with all she had to battle. Most poignant to me was Justice getting her daughter's bike ready for the parade. I am looking forward to book 11!

It's also always fun to catch up with the people of Fools Gold to find out what is going on in their lives. Just One Kiss is the latest in the Fool's Gold Series. I got hooked on Fool's Gold in Chasing Perfect and love my visits each and every time. The characters in the books are so real and human that you wish they could be your firends and neighbors and that Fool's Gold was a real town. Watching Patience realize her goal and the support of everyone around her is very heartwarming and envy invoking. Watching a couple fall in love and realize that they have found something everyone looks for is always a delight. I look forward to the next book and many more to come in Fool's Gold!

The perfect summer read, is Just One Kiss by Susan Mallery. Fool's Gold is a town I would love to live in, and I really enjoy meeting its residents. The characters feel like people I could know, and I find myself reading just one more page, then another, and yet another. I didn't want to put the book down. I can't wait to read Felicia's story next.

This in another great book by Susan Mallery. I purchased the audible version so that I could listen to it while I worked. I resented every time that I was interrupted. Usually it takes me 2-3 days to listen to an audible book, but not this one! I finished the book in one day. It was very fast moving and kept my attention to the point that I could not wait to hear what happened next. At one point, I caught myself wishing that I could speed up the narrator. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I cannot believe how un-entertained I was reading this book! It took me forever to get through because I was not interested in any part of it. Patience and Justice fell flat. There was no anticipation of them getting together, their history was a moot point. Justice's background was just too far fetched and I didn't really get vested in him or it. I'm almost afraid to look into Felicia's story but at least she is more interesting than Justice and Patience!

This latest installment in the series is another winner! I like how Mallery sears Justice into your heart. He becomes someone you want to protect. It feels like you are revisiting a cherished vacation spot, especially when you get to catch up on the latest happenings with previous characters in the series.
There is enough action to keep the plot intriguing.

Again, you can never go wrong with a Susan Mallery book. She is a wonderful storyteller. I have enjoyed the Fools Gold Series and have been waiting for Patience to have her romance! I love all of the characters in Fools Gold and can't wait for them to pop up occasionally and keep up with their lives too. As with all of Susan Mallery's books I could not put it down and had it read in a day. It was such a good read. Watching the characters deal with their own personal struggles and what they bring to a relationship and in the end seeing love heal old wounds and bring about new beginnings.

I always enjoy Susan Mallery's books but her Fools Gold series is a very cute series that never lets you down. In this book we meet Patience and her teenage crush Justice who mysteriously left 15 years before but is now back to stay and the crush comes back in full force. Reading any Fool's Gold book is fun because you get to read about prior characters to see what's new in their lives.

Just One Kiss is another winner in Susan Mallery's Fools Gold series! I love how Susan introduces new characters while weaving old "friends" from prior books into the story line. I am already anticipating the release of Two of a Kind and Three Little Words.

I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoy all of Susan Mallery's books, especially the Fools Gold series, and look forward to each new book release. I was so drawn into Justice & Patience's story that I had trouble putting the book down.

Just One Kiss (Hqn) This was such a wonderful book to read! I always love heading back to Fools Gold and seeing how the characters have developed. As with all of Susan Mallery's books I could not put it down and had it read in a day. It was such a good read. Watching the characters deal with their own personal struggles and what they bring to a relationship and in the end seeing love heal old wounds and bring about new beginnings.

I always enjoy Susan Mallery's books but her Fools Gold series is a very cute series that never lets you down. In this book we meet Patience and her teenage crush Justice who mysteriously left 15 years before but is now back to stay and the crush comes back in full force. Through the highs, lows, suspense and romance this book keeps the pages turning. If you are looking for a good summer read/series give Susan Mallery and the Fools Gold series a try!

Just One Kiss is another Fool's Gold jackpot. I loved the story about Justice and Patience reconnecting. The story was very touching and I could not put it down. I read it in only two days and cannot wait for more from Fool's Gold. The series just pulls me in and makes me want to visit the town to catch up with old characters and meet new people. Definitely start with the first book and you will enjoy the entire series.

I love the Fool's Gold series, but this wasn't my favorite. The love scenes had very bad wording and I spent more time laughing at the wording than I did actually enjoying the story. I had a hard time getting into the story and the pacing felt off. It's not the worst book I've read, but it's not the best either.

I love Susan's books and always great to be back in Fool's Gold! Just One Kiss was no exception, seeing old characters and getting to know more about the businesses in the town, plus a wonderful love story from a strong teenaged bond. This story couldn't be any better. I love how the people of Fool's Gold can come together and help one another out. I absolutely loved Patience and Justice! Can't wait for the rest of the summer releases!

The book provided everything I have come to expect from Susan Mallery and her Fools Gold series - romance, heart, friendship and community. I can't wait for the next one!

The next book in the Fool's Gold Series keeps the fun loving town going. Patience and Justice have so much to work through and Susan Mallery writes an amazing story around the two. Just enough laughter and enough serious to keep the pages turning!

Once again I finished a Susan Mallery title in less than one day. I was up until the wee hours of the morning because I couldn't put it down! Her development of wonderful characters and intriguing stories have kept me visiting Fool's Gold on a regular basis for the last 3 years. I have also very willingly devoured everything else she has published. Any fan of the romance genre will be hooked - you can't just read one!

What a way to start the summer of 2013 by reading the first offering of this summer's return to Fool's Gold. We are acquainted with long time residents as well new and interesting visitors. There is romance, mystery and as always, humor. I have read every Fool's Gold book and have looked forward to Susan's new offerings this summer. I certainly will be anxiously looking forward to the next book!!

I love Susan Mallery books They are written in a way that makes you somehow feel connected to the characters Just One Kiss didn't disappoint Patience is a strong determined woman despite the adversity life has thrown at her I read this book in one day The fools Gold series shows the virtues we all strive for with love being the final destination I really enjoyed this book and hope there are more to follow with the Fools Gold charactors that have now become friends

A great summer pool read! I finished it in two days. Is it not every girls dream that your first crush would rush through the door today, hotter than ever, and sweep you off your feet. Just One Kiss is funny, romantic, endearing, and full of passion. Patience is easy to relate to and quirky while Justice is mysterious and sexy. This perfect love combination sucks you into their story. I don't want to give any spoilers, all I will say is enjoy this light and romantic summer read!

I bought this book as its part of a series and just loved it. I was able to read it in less than a day as I couldn't put it down. Susan's books are amazing and are so full of detail that if you were just picking up one of the books in this series, you wouldn't feel as if you were missing anything. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

This is another great book in the Fool's Gold series. Justice and Patience knew each other when they were younger and always had something special between them. They are reunited years later. This is a wonderful story about the bonds that tie people together no matter the time or distance apart. I highly recommend it!

Susan Mallery has a way with building a community you will come to love. Fools Gold is fabulous little town with wonderfully loving and witty characters. Just One Kiss is yet another excellent addiiton to the ever growing town and hot hot hot male population that continues to grow. I have read all of Susan Mallery's books and never tire of them.

As always I was right in Fools Gold with this Story about Patience and Justice... I loved how these two refound each other and found their happy ending! Since all the characters in her Books are quite real in the Book and not only background noise I'm already anticipating the books about Angel, Ford, Noelle, Isabelle and of course the next one about Felizia...

Mallery writes another wonderful book about Fools Gold! This is my favorite series and I was eagerly awaiting the release of this book. Mallery did not disappoint. She continues to develop strong new characters within the well molded world of Fool's Gold. Justice's background was intriguing and heartbreaking and provided an interesting new element in the series. Highly recommended!

I am a huge fan of Susan Mallery. I've been reading the Fool's Gold Series since the very beginning and this story was another great book. I would recommend this book to anybody that loves contemporary romance.

She wrote another amazing Fool's Gold book! Loved how Patience's long lost love, Justice, comes back to suprise her!! It's just an amazing story with some new characters, but also with some older characters too!!

I love all of her Fool's Gold books and this is just another amazing one!! She makes you want to live there and enjoy the small town atmosphere!! Can't wait for more to come.

It was totally Yummy. I really enjoyed reading the book it was really thought out storyline and I'm really looking forward to readingit again. And while I totally feel in love with Patience and Justice I think the biggest place in my heart belongs to Ava. This is the first book I have read in Susan Mallery's Fools Gold series. I enjoyed this book because it had lots of different characters and is set in a small community similiar to the community I live in.

I have been a fan of Susan Mallery's books for a while now and this book did not disappoint. Right from the beginning she draws you in. The characters in this book are funny and heartwarming. She makes me want to go visit this town and meet these offbeat characters. I cannot wait to read more about the owners of the defense academy. Pick up this book today, you will not be disappointed.

Susan Mallery again captured the true romance between Patience & Justice (by the way I love that name for him). From adolescence to adults finding that passion between them was magic. I loved the characters, the town & mix it with humor, excitement & you have a great read! I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series.

As always Susan Mallery never disappoints. Her stories are laugh out loud funny, heart warming, romantic, and just all around great. This one like her others are quick and fantastic reads. They always leave me waiting and wanting to read more about the characters of this great town!!!
