Oh my goodness! This book ended too soon! I truly felt Jen’s pain and distress as a new mother, this story line was so poignantly written. As a middle aged reader, I completely identified with Pam as she explores a new relationship. Finally, reading about Zoe and her life as she struggles with ending one relationship and tentatively starting anew was so enjoyable! I felt like I could call Pam and meet for coffee as we discussed Jen and Zoe. Susan Mallery has never disappointed me and with this book again, I was completely enthralled from the beginning and hated to read the last page! Well done!!

Even though I was sad to say good-bye to Fool’s Gold, I took comfort that Susan Mallery was still writing. And she was branching out from romance only to some compelling women’s fiction.
Mallery’s Mischief Bay series is definitely less romance, more women’s fiction. Mischief Bay has many things in common with Fool’s Gold. The warmth and humor for starters. But there are some major differences too.
Mischief Bay has heart and sunshine, but no over-the-top characters like Eddie and Gladys from Fool’s Gold. There are still businesses with fun names, but no all-knowing Mayor Marsha.
A MILLION LITTLE THINGS has characters both new and familiar. We met Pam in THE GIRLS OF MISCHIEF BAY. She’s now been widowed for two years. Her daughter Jen is dealing with her eighteen-month-old son who won’t talk and she can’t get anyone to believe her that something is wrong. Jen and her best friend Zoe have been drifting apart since Jen’s been so wrapped up in Jack. Zoe’s recently single and alone. So alone that when she was accidentally locked in her attic, she was afraid she’d die up there and no one would find her body for weeks.
Zoe decides to make some changes in her life and, after a gentle nudge from Pam, begins dating Pam’s son and Jen’s brother, Brian. Jen’s anxiety worsens, not just about Jack’s speech. Her husband is a cop and she worries about him too. Pam is happy, but also intrigued and flattered when Zoe’s father expresses interest in her. She agrees to dinner, but tells him she doesn’t date. Which surprises him, since they are on a date.
I enjoyed this a lot. The characters are people I feel like I either know already or I would enjoy getting to know them. If you like small town women’s fiction with humor and romance, (and really–who doesn’t??) then I know you’ll love Mischief Bay and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS.
Each book in the Mischief Bay series can stand alone. Some characters have encores, but nothing in the new stories will spoil it if you go back and read an earlier book.
I love this series and highly recommend it and this book.

Loved this book and the series. Once again, there are good friends who are there for each other but not without some controversy at times. The three characters in this book each have their distinct story but impact each other. From being a protective mother, over protective mother and an alone mother to be to becoming a good friend, they all three learn to love and accept each other and support each other.

A Million Little Things returns the reader to Mischief Bay, and brings back one of the characters from the first book in this series. Mallery has written a book with three wonderful women, all going through some very difficult times. Some are handling them with more grace than others, but the reader gets to journey with them and because of their flaws, the characters seem real! A great series...but this book will stand on its own!

I love reading Susan Mallery's stories because they contain it all: love, friendships, real life. What mother hasn't obsessed about their child at one point or another? In this book you see this happen at different levels: a parent and a small child, a parent and an adult child. Life has struggles and Susan tells a compelling tale including those struggles, she writes things we can all relate to at some point.

This is the third book of this series, can be read without reading others but encourage you read them.
Loved this book. It's about a mother, her daughter & their friend, it's a great story about their relationships with their family, the men in their lives & themselves. You will laugh, cry & root for them to work things out. I highly recommend this book & any book by Susan Mallery.

If the title of this book doesn't give an idea of what this book is about, nothing will. Each character is trying to cope and deal with their own little things. And, as they react and deal with each other, hard truths are discovered about themselves. The journey's these characters go on prove to make themselves, and their individual relationships stronger. Such a good read! I wish I lived in a place like Mischief Bay!

A Million Little Things- This book had some of my emotions all over the place. At times I thought that one of the main characters was very judgemental, but would I have been as Judgemental if I was in her place? Someone you have always thought was reasonable becomes totally un-reasonable. This happens with more than one character in this book. And I just wanted to reach in the book and hug Zoe. Trying to do what is right.

I usually like her books, but every person in this book was a caricature. You have the overly cautious helicopter mom, the meddling and narrow minded mom, the stoic husband, the playboy, the older man of the world, etc. The only characters I liked were Steven and Zoe.

I really enjoyed this book. It was not too heavy of a read and I read it almost nonstop! I could relate to the many different life stages the characters where in and it gave me insight to the ones I have not experienced yet. It is the believable stories that make the book good and relatable. I find myself talking about the characters and sharing their stories to my friends.

A Million Little Things is a book that Susan Mallery once again shows how friendship enriches the lives of women. The women in this book Zoe, Pam and Jen are women who many of us know. They make us laugh, they encourage us and they even frustrate us. I love the fact that the women in this book aren’t perfect. I found myself wanting to laugh with the women, hug them and even yell at them a couple of times. The women in this series have strengths, weaknesses, they make mistakes and they survive. Most of all they value each other.

Loved the book again another good one. Zoe, Jen and Pam mom of Jen are all friends. They have some differences and are able to overcome them. Pam likes Zoe's dad, but there are problems with that. Girls have been friends also. Zoe breaks up with boyfriend, and then see's Jen's brother. Jen is over protective of her child. All leads to a wonderful ending and shows how things usually turn out for the good. Love it.

I have read the entire Mischief Bay series to date and this was my favorite so far! All of the characters were relatable and real, with Zoe and Pam having doubts and hang ups just like we all do! You can pick this book up and fly through it because you want to see how it will turn out, you can't just automatically assume that the girl and boy will end up happily ever after! Susan Mallery is one of my favorite authors and I really haven't been disappointed with any of her books.

In "A Million Little Things" Susan Mallery, as always, keeps the reader hooked through all the twists and turns in the complications of life between three friends. I loved it! For me, this book was about relationships. Parent/child, lover/lover, friend/friend. It was about the way that relationships sometimes can force you to change. At times those changes are healthy and at other times, not so much. I loved these characters. I wanted them all to have a HEA. You should definitely take the time to read this story.

A Million Little Things by Susan Mallery is the newest woman's fiction book by the author. As in her other woman fictions books this one also has three characters with story lines of their own that overlap with each other. I enjoy Susan's Mallery's style of writing and am a long time fan. This book was just ok for me . The stories were interesting but not gripping. For Susan fans it is a good read but not her best.

Susan Mallery has a way of making you feel at home in her books. I absolutely love her writing style! There is always someone in her books that you can relate to no matter your age. You will find humor - must for me! Also you will see real struggles and how they find the strength to figure out this new life. I always enjoy reading anything by Susan Mallery, and I was not disappointed with reading this book. All her characters are real and believable. They have struggles similar to what we go through and each book has at least one happy ending. I hope she keeps us up to date on what's happening with Jen & Kirk, Steven & Zoe, Pam & Miguel and Lucas (sigh). He's ripe for a serious romance. I've enjoyed every Susan Mallery book I've ever read and if you could see my Kindle list - how many that is - you would understand what an amazing writer she is.

Susan Mallery writes a very heartfelt story in which the I as the reader felt I was in the story. The story is realistic- the worry and stress of a first time parent, a mom of adult children who wants the best for her children- if it is misguided and hurts rather than helps, and of a woman who is trying to find herself. I really enjoyed this story as I can relate to it and I highly encourage you to read it and form your own opinion- the time it takes to read with be worth it!

Loved this book. This book touched on many interesting topics, unexpected pregnancy, widows in new relationships and anxiety in women. Susan Mallery did a great job dealing with these difficult issues in a humorous and insightful way. The characters are extremely well developed and the pace is great. I did not want to put the book down. This book is part of a series, but can easily be read as a stand alone.

I loved this book. It was fun to catch up with Pam, even though I was a little disappointed with her reaction to Zoe's situation. I loved Miguel. There was a lot going on, as usual. I enjoyed Zoe and Steven's story. And Pam & Miguel getting to know each other. Jen was harder for me to relate to, but I was rooting for her to relax and enjoy her baby and her marriage. I thought there was something for everyone.

Susan Mallery's "A Million Little Things" is a great read! I really enjoyed this book. It is so interesting to see the characters interact and the story unfold. You can almost always find something or someone to relate to in Mallery's books, and this book is no exception. You can read this as a stand-alone book, but the first two books in the Mischief Bay series may give you more background about a few of the characters and are fantastic too!

‘A Million Little Things’
This is a story about friends that become family.
Susan Mallery has started a new series with her new town of Mischief Bay. She starts the series with ‘The Girls of Mischief Bay’ & ‘The Friends We Keep’. She continues with ‘A Million Little Things’.
I like this series as Susan Mallery returns the main characters to continue their stories. Pam has lost her husband in ‘The girls of Mischief Bay’ & this book shows her again as a main character. Along with Zoe & Jen we are part of a new blending of a family.

The novel was well written and edited, but the concept of Jack, the first born, not talking seemed far-flung, as Jen's anxiety filled life of unrealistic expectations and events. She seriously needed to get back into the work force and expand her social circle. Pamela' s reaction was unexpected, and uncalled for. Glad she came around! Quick Summer read!

The new Susan Mallery is definitely chick lit. Back to Mischief Bay where we get a closer look at Pam and her children Jen and Steven along with Jen's best friend Zoe. The relationships have their trials and tribulations with feel good and Aha moments throughout. Would have liked more than just the brief glimpse at characters from previous books (Shannon and Nikki). Fast read.

Poor Zoe breaks up with her boyfriend, gets locked in her attic, and meets a new man. Pam sets her up with her son, and then wants to be ark them up, all while seeing Zoe's dad. Normally I love Susan Mallery books, but I only thought this one was so-so. The characters from her earlier two books seemed a lot more flat and unrealistic than in previous books and Zoe, a new character, was too much...too unrealistic, too volatile, too idiotic and dramatic. I give it three stars only because there are a couple secondary characters that I like. Personally, if you haven't read it and like other Susan Mallery books, don't bother.

I loved how the book centered on more then just the two main characters and made it a family affair. Truly an enjoyable ready and can't wait to see what Susan comes out with next.

This is another excellent book by Susan Mallery. It is about 3 women; a widowed mother, her married daughter with a young son, and the daughter’s best friend. Each has problems they are dealing with in their lives, but they all work through them and come out on the other side happy and healthy.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. The work it takes to hold friendships together is sometimes monumental and sometimes what you think is just a friendship can turn into the most wonderful thing in the world to you-yep, your true love. Susan Mallery has done a masterful job on this one and it hits close to home for me.

Susan Mallery weaves friends and family together to create a wonderful story in A Million Little Things. Each character is at a different stage in their lives and it's great to see how they interact and overcome adversity. Lots of romance, love, and second chances. A must read!

Wow! I'm sad to see this series is ending with book. But what a great read this book was. We see some of the other couples from the first two books plus some new ones. Susan Mallery hits it out the park with everything she writes but the bond between best friends is the greatest!

I’ve really enjoyed the Mischief Bay series. This book was a great addition but I didn’t like it as much as the others. I just wasn’t drawn into the characters as much as in the previous books. However, it was still good!

I am left wondering how things work out for Zoe, Pam and Jen. Do they all get their HEA? Thank you Susan for another wonderful story.

Susan Mallery has written another great story about friends who live in Mischief Bay. There's romance and twists that surprised me. This is the third in the series about Mischief Bay but it doesn't matter if you've read the first two or not. It stands by itself.

I enjoyed the book. I realized I am the same age as Pam, but could relate to all the female characters. I thought I knew what would happen between the characters, but was surprised by the unexpected twists and turns. All these twists and turns in the storyline kept me involved and intrigued in the outcome and made me want to read faster, so i could see what was going to happen. I am sad that I finished. I am ready to move to Mischief Bay.

This was another wonderful book by Susan Mallery. While this book is fiction, the issues and situations in the book are relatable to real life. While it is not necessary in order to read this book, reading previous Mischief Bay books can help enhance your understanding of some of the characters in this book.

I am a big fan of Susan Mallery. I love her women's fiction, I adored the Fool's Gold series and I can't wait for Happily, Inc. That said, this was not my favorite story. It seemed to drag and while I just wanted to finish the book, I was in no hurry to do so.

A thought-provoking, yet witty, story that shows not only does the world throw obstacles in our path that we need the strength to overcome, but we also create our own stumbling blocks. Also, thanks to Ms. Mallery, my sons and I are now the owners of air fryers, and my granddaughter has been gifted a B. Woofer guitar.

This story takes us back to Mischief Bay and the lives of Zoe, Pam, and Jen. This book delves more into Zoe's life and what a web it weaves. Not to say we don't also keep up with Pam and Jen and all that goes on with them and their lives and this trilogy wraps up nicely.
Even if you have not read the first two books in this series you will not be lost as this could be read as a standalone but why would you want to.

Another winner for Susan Mallery and the Mischief Bay series. This book really pulled at my emotion. One minute I was laughing, the next I was mad and upset. Mother, daughter and daughter's best friend find themselves in a dilemma when best friend starts dating brother/son and finds out she is pregnant with another man's child. Friendship is put to the test as these 3 women struggle to understand and accept each other.
