PKD used his amazing and strange imagination to write a time travelling story about a hit man sent to kill a man to fix the future. As all ways the story twist at the end creating a classic time paradox. A great quick read

I thought this short story was very thought provoking. The author of this tale was truly a master of his chosen genre as well as a wonderful storyteller. I look forward to reading more of his works in the future. I would recommend this book to any fans of the sci-fi genre especially newcomers

If any other author wrote this story it would have been five stars, but for Philip K. Dick it is just average. Still a must read if you love Philip K. Dick, or science fiction, though not a story to read first if you want to get into both.

Short stories are under appreciated. Great writers hone their craft by boiling great ideas down to their essential parts. Sometimes these become stories that are best preserved in their short form. Others are expanded to full novel length. This gem is perfect as it is. A criminal sucked into a paradox. Each page turned reveals a bit more until the truth gels for reader and protagonist alike. Stunningly well done!
