Very good book. I loved the idea of having mental powers, and choosing your own path. This book is about a boy named Benjamin, who has special powers and is THE ONE. I don't want to give the end away, but I want to say this is a really good book!

I really enjoyed this book and have already started recommending it to young readers that I know. I think the anti-bully element added in was great. Now I'm eagerly awaiting more books in the chronicles. I can't wait to see what adventures are in store for Benjamin as he continues his journey and finds out more about his gifts.

This book was enjoyable to read. The vocabulary was age appropriate for the middle school child that I work with. Plot and characters were easy to understand yet provocative. The story lends itself to good discussions about social issues and situations and how one can problem solve

This is a great story.
The characters and story flow nicely.
I couldn't put this one down.
Spoiler:

I also didn't much like the reference to another "Gifted one" two thousand years ago. The religious reference was not needed to show importance.

The fight between good and evil. We should all know who wins! Excellent fantasy and I also love the Corp Justice series. Keep writing. Can't wait to find out what happens with Benjamin's, Kennedy and the others

This one had the feeling of being rushed to publication with average writing and poor editing. There are too many spelling and grammar errors that a basic editor (or your mom) could find and correct if the effort were made.

Characters were cookie-cutter clones of Harry Potter characters - the young, introverted boy discovering his magical powers, Harr...err Benjamin, the wise, gray-bearded old mentor Dumbledo...err Kennedy, the gentle giant groundskeeper Hagri...err Wally, the former pupil turned evil nemesis Tom Ridd...err Jacee. And so on...

Only 211 pages, but it was still hard to get through this one. Two stars for a good concept, but the writing...

Enjoyable tale for those who enjoy reality with a twist. A quick read, the stories are short but do a nice job of engaging the reader. I look forward to the next chapter in the series of Benjamin Dragon.

Read the entire series of 3 books. Plot, characters, story line were interesting, but underdeveloped. Lack of continuity. Lots of holes, large blocks of skipped time with little or no explanations, seemed more like an outline than a finished product. Extremely contrived, anticlimactic and disappointing ending. Generally like Coopers books, but this pseudo "Harry Potter" series needs a lot of work.
