There is nothing that Stuart Woods writes that isn't just great! I love all of his books. When I pick up one of his books, I just can't put it down -- they are so interesting and I love the ones with Stone Barrington.

I always look forward to the next book showcasing the exploits of Stone Barrington and his son. "Doing Hard Time" was no exception! Action was fast paced and somewhat predictable. Never the less it was a great read.

This fell a little short of the older Stone stories. Hollywood and the "kids" doesn't resonate like the smaller universe...Stone, Dino and a couple of bad guys. Hollywood is boring and the fact that Stone is rich is a real HOHUM.

Stuart Woods did it again. He managed to bring all the familiar faces back, spread them out across the country, and place tem all together for some "page turning" action in LA. Classic Stone Barrington novel full of wealth, luxury, romance, and cliff hangers. I strongly recommend that you climb on board Stratigic Services G5 at Teterboro Airport, head west to the Arrington, and kick your feet up by the pool because you will not set this book down.

We buy all Stone Barrington tapes. We travel in the summer and the tapes are great and keep you interested. The trips seem short. We are so interested in the stories that when we get to our destination ,we have sat in car to finish the disc. Great entertainment. We especially enjoy the ones with Tony Roberts doing the reading.

Another great read. Once purchased, I could not put the book down. Woods has been getting grief the past few years for cranking out his novels. I'm happy he does! Another fun book of mystery, intrigue, romance and good old fun.

This book was dreadful. It was a total snoozer. The dialog was elementary school level. It was impossible to believe in any of the characters and there was no suspense whatsoever. I read Stuart Woods religiously, but I have lost all faith in him.

To much time being focused on Stones love life or should I say lust life.To much sex takes away from the main storyline. Sometimes it reads like a cheap romance novel instead of the suspenseful story I bought it for.

Liked the subject matter with Teddy Fay although I remember him as more of a cold blooded killer. Now he seems to have been turned into a regular, benign guy -- not in the earlier books. I still enjoyed the plot and bringing in more of the kids' lives to the story.
