I had previously read Kinsella's Shopaholic novels, which were fun and light reads, but her two stand alone books "Can You Keep a Secret" and "Undomestic Goddess" are my all time favorite, and had me declaring that I was an avid Sophie Kinsella fan. I have to admit, I was surprisingly disappointed with "Remember Me". I often found it hard to believe how Lexi skyrocketed from frumpy, bottom-rung junior sales associate job to glamorous director and wife of a millionaire within a matter of a few years, and also how her personality drastically changed. Her character often annoyed me, and I had a hard time connecting with her, as well as her mother and sister. I won't say much more, other than I did not like the basis of the love interest in this novel. There were some funny moments, and I did finish the book, but this is not one that I would pick up and read again. I do hope that Sophie Kinsella publishes future novels with the same wit and flair of the other two - I don't want to give up on her, but Remember Me has given me reason to question my next purchase.

Kinsella roped me in with "Can You Keep a Secret?" and I also enjoyed "Undomestic Goddess." "Remember Me" just isn't quite up to par with her other books and felt a little disappointed reading it. It did keep me guessing if/when she would get her memory back, but many of the side stories just seemed to be pointless fillers. For a light summer read, it did its job but I was hoping for a little more realistic substance.
The gripping psychological thriller with a jaw-dropping twist. :: Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery :: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery (Bunnicula Series) :: The Watchmaker of Filigree Street :: Remember Me This Way: A Novel

Sophie Kinsella's books have never failed to make me double up with laughter. As an eager Becky Bloomwood fan, I found it hard to resist reading her other novels. Here's to many more of Kinsella's comic, addictive books!

I love Sophie kinsella, I read remember me in one day, as I am the type of person if I don't like a book I won't read it and have to say if you like me and it's a cold day outside and want to stay in bed and read a book that will keep you there. This is a book for you

Excellent Book!

Another page turner of Kinsella's creation.
Once you've read it, you can't put it down.

Who would have thought the next morning after a car accident and loosing the last three year of your memory is no where to be found.

Lexi Smart thought she was having the most perfect life anyone could ever wanted.
Luxurious life, Perfect Hollywood pearly whites and a gorgeous stinking rich husband.
Well, It turns outs her life is not that perfect at all. Until she met this disheveled looking architect that will turn it's life back into peices.
Couldn't tell you guys all the details. Too bad that the ending is not that much full-filling, after reading the last chapter you feel that you'll need more.

I still love the story though!

This book wasn't as good as other Kinsella books. I found the plot especially unbelievable, and the characters pretty unlikeable. A mother who doesn't care for her daughter(s), an amnesiac that sells out all of her friends to be "the boss" and married to a wholly unredeeming man. It stretches beyond the imagination. Don't get me wrong, most of the characters in these books are shallow, but this book just took the cake. It wasn't terrible, I just didn't find it entertaining.
