Once again, Bobby nailed it. You can just about picture every move from his descriptions and story telling. Literally laughed out loud at nearly every page. This is a refreshing take on the typical zombie story. Similar to the Slow Burn series, but a bit lighter. Can't wait to read #2 once I'm done writing this review.

Having enjoyed the entire slow burn series, I am sampling the authors other works. This one was just plain fun reading. Sad thing is it's probably closer to truth of a situation like that than any other. Great read fun read enjoy

Interesting premise - young man surviving underground for two years, in his world filled with zombes, without going completely nuts . In fact, I'd say his complete sanity is debatible.
This story line is best suited for mid-teens and up. I'd like to see where Bobby will take it from here.

Great Read. Fast-paced and completely immersive. I want this to be a series. Although I love the Last Survivors series, I think I love Dusty's journey more. I'm very interested in the fall and that transition period between the old society and the new one in the Last Survivors series. Great job Bobby, although I really didn't like you when the book ended and the realization set in that there may not be another... long sigh. Pretty please...!?! I'll help you. (Even thought I have no writing experience and may get on your nerves more than help.)

I really enjoyed this story. I would like to read more and see how his demise happens. I do want to point out that Katy, Texas is west of Houston. I know this because I live there. Off of the Katy freeway and Fry Rd. Still a real good read and there is quite a lot in it for as short as it is.

For a short story, it was pretty good. I immediately looked for Book 2 after finishing it, and am ready to continue on with Dusty and his Quest for Porn, hehe....I like the idea he had for the Shroom traps. Nice!

The mood of this book is delightfully SNARKY, but that wasn't one of the store's standard descriptors. If I could choose 2 words, it was light-hearted and dark at the same time. In a post-apocalyptic world, Dusty writes the tale of his survival for future archaeologists to find. It was a good read.

Very entertaining, but at times eerily on point with current events: Pharmaceutical greed and political incompetence. Could make a good series. I liked the less than exemplary protagonist very much. I rated this 4.5 Stars.

Exactly as promised, this little gem is a humorous romp through the apocalypse. Well written and well paced, with an occasional nod to sorrow, it is mostly a laugh-out-loud (or at least a grin-really-wide) way to spend an evening. I hope the adventures of Dusty continue soon.

I liked the story but it was clearly connected to the writer's series so it didn't feel as complex as I believe the writer can be. Although I haven't read his series, his writing is skillful enough that I would consider it.

Good read. It was plausible that would be the way a virus would start. Big pharma rules along with the industrial/military complex. Congress and the Senate is totally is their pocket. He has a god handle on the problems confronting the US and the world.

Enjoyed the novella immensely, it's probably more true to life, than most zombie fiction.
I certainly hope the author continues to write about this character, and it would be a shame if he doesn't.
Would definitely buy more of this character in books.

Compared to Bobby's other books, this one was just plain fun to read. Slow Burn draws you in to the characters as they fight the infected. Ebola K is very thought provoking and realistic. Dusty's Diary is just raunchy, blue collar, prepper tail. Very easy to read. A nice break from my usual reading.

Being from the houston area, I really enjoyed "Dusty' s Diary". He's funny, quick witted and relatable. He seems like your crazy, cool, slightly "out-there" uncle- the one who sneaks you your first beer or takes you to your first strip club. All that but, add in a doomsday prepper who speaks his mind no matter how crazy his thoughts are. I'm looking forward to reading more from him and getting further into his texas themed zombie world. This read will keep you laughing and gives a slightly different take on the zombie apocalypse.

I really enjpoyed this short story, I wish it had gone on further. Well written and a very different idea as to how the ZA came about. The slow start of the tranformation into zombies as well as to what caused it was very interesting . All in all a 4.5.

Just finished Dusty's Diary. It was hilarious and immensely entertaining although now I'm disappointed it's over. I've read all Bobby Adair's books and his collaboration with T.W. Piperbook, all have been very good reads.

Dusty at first glance seems like a total idiot. As you readon, you realize that while he is unconventional person, he is pretty smart. he is a good dad and good husband and I expect he will survive the Shroomheads. Good storyline and plot.

This was a humorous and quick little read well worth my .99! I think some of his observations were a little cold but it put an interesting twist on self preservation! Very entertaining! I highly suggest this book!

Only $.99, worth twice that much. Now, hurry up and keep writing. I actually like the main character. I want to read about where his next plans are going to take him. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Very interesting indeed. I was not apalled by the language at all. I have two sons that served in the military and I worked for 40 yrs in the telecom field. I found it refreshing much like a diary indeed

I really enjoyed the first person telling of the story. The going back to the beginning and catching me up on why he was in a bunker was very interesting. Also, look forward to the rest of the story.
