I liked the book especially from the gripping start. And the varying narrative provided different perspectives that leant it credibility. But the long term premise seemed a bit off, given the protagonist's father's supposed profession that is was hard to swallow over the length of the book. Still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this book. I did feel however that if you read the book in the series before it that we didn't need to constantly be reminded of the watercolor to get the connections. The ending also was a little obvious. I figured it out from the second encounter with him. Otherwise, Lisa Gardner's writing is,as always, wonderful and gripping.

The characters seemed so real. I changed my suspicion of "who dunnit" several times. To conclude with more than one perpetrator was novel and unexpected. I look forward toe reading more Gardner books.
