Just what the rancher needed. Rancher Matthew Clay was as solid as an oak, unmovable as granit. Until temporary housekeeper Jaimie Greene came to the Double C. She was the queen of calanity, riskier than a Wyoming winter. And feisty redhead's tempting innocence and sassy rebukes drove Matthew to distraction. But experience had taught him that a tenderhearted city gal didn't belong on a remote cattle ranch and she woildn't stay. Still he'd never met a woman so determined to prove herself. Or one who loved the land the way he did. Was this confirmed bachlor suddenly ready to face his biggest challenge of his life, love?

Such a wonderful and charismatic play! It pulls you into its interesting story line from the beginning, and takes you on a wonderful adventure full of fun and laughter. Although the plot and theme are more mature than other plays, it was a joy to read.

First e-book ever and I enjoyed the experience. I needed to read this play for school and I didn't have enough time order the hard copy book and wait for delivery. Instead I was able to order and download within minutes and I was doing my homework in no time. Very satisfied.

Love Walter's performance, as well as Mama's. Travis feels old (his voice seems too deep to say things like, "Gaaaleeee Mama!"), but other than that, I love having my students listen to this rather than read the play outloud in class.

The whole book left you hanging. All you wanted to do was kept reading, until the end were some conflicts were not solved and some dreams were not reached but just talked about. Overall was a great short read and would suggest it for everyone

Although I loved and thoroughly enjoyed the story...I want to know the ending. I think that leaving in the middle of an important argument such as the one between Walter and Bennie was very frustrating. Did mama ever really great her out. Did she go and was she happy?
