Cussler is again the master of suspense in "Iceberg". There is plenty of action throughout this book and I was always surprised by the next sequence of events. Although most of Cussler's books have some element of historical truth, this one appears to be completely fictional. It is face paced and hard to put down once you start reading it. Most enjoyable reading for any Cussler fan!!

This story was fast moving with a complex plot. The characters were rich and unpredictable. It kept my interest. There was no lengthy, opening descriptive introduction. The story got moving quickly at the start.

Certainly a different twist. Having read most of Cusslers books, I have become rather good at predicting where they are headed. This one threw me a curve. I liked it. But then I totally enjoy all of Pits adventures. As always, I look forward to all his books. During my 23 years in the US Navy I served on seven WWII submarines and two very small submersible. The first was the USS X-I, SSXI. A four man lock-out/lock-in spy/research boat and one year attached to the Trieste II. A remarkable bathyscaph. As a result I find Cusslers story's quite intriguing

Keep em coming Clive!
