Towards the end of his life, Robert Parker cranked out a raft of books that had good - albeit slim - plots.
However, his always annoying over-use of the word "said" tends to distract from the characters and action.

Jesse Stone books are among my favorites, and this one does not disappoint! Meeting Sunny was a bonus...I've read other Parker books, but they didn't have the depth of characters that the Stone series has. This one is a keeper! Send me more!!!
