This book arrived before on time which was wonderful! It was in pristine condition like it just came off the press! It was a bday gift for my niece. She was very excited about receiving it and couldn't wait to read it. Her mother was equally fascinated by this old time favorite. It's a story that every generation will be amused by.

There are so few children's books that have empowered female protagonists! I loved reading this book, chapter-by-chapter, to my five-year-old, and she enjoyed it, too. This is a good chapter-a-night kind of bedtime story for young girls.

My great grand daughter is 8, and before the realities of life begin to take over too much, I thought she needed an adventure or two. What better way than to share the journey along the way, than with a little Pippi Longstocking each night at bedtime?

My daughter loved the story of the little girl who had no parents. She though Pippi was so silly with how she did everything. It made her appreciate us parents and all the things we do for her. Great story for anyone who loves the movie.

Super book, service and storyline. Pippi is a hoot! Having grown up on shipboard and having list both parents, she is a character and a half. Endearing tho quirky she works her way into your heart quickly. Such adventures she has!

I grew up reading Pippi Longstocking so when I was trying to find books that my daughter would like, I remembered Pippi! If your child likes Amelia Bedelia, this is a great next step. Pippi is a little girl that lives in Sweden and goes on adventures and gets into all kinds of precarious situations. She doesn't do things as expected and has her own mind. I think it's a great book to explore other culture's children's books as well as to read about unexpected and different.

Thii is a classic book for children of the orphan Pippl Longstocking who lives alone at Villa Villa Kuhla with her pet monkey and horse. It is a slapstick comedy look at life for children. It should be in every home.
