I've read this book at least five times throughout my life. It has a lot of content and it makes you think and feel and it gets you excited. Now that the sequel is out as well, I've got both and couldn't be happier.

Excellent from beginning to end. Gripping characters, plot twists, original ideal and just plain good story telling. Probably the best book I've read this year. Want details....read the book and you'll see what I mean :)

Farmer explores some intriguing ideas and forces the reader to think about what it means to be human. Well written, original...a fascinating combination of feeling like a historical folklore novel while functioning as a futuristic dystopian work.

My granddaughters class were reading this book as a class project. She lost her book and didn't know what to do. I had given her my old Kindle. She takes this to class, and other students that have e-readers have elected to use this method of reading there book,

Okay, when I started reading this it was because my English class was reading it. However, I got so into it that I just had read it at home. There might be some light swearing and without giving away the ending, let's just say over all, this book was worth it.

Very clever and well written book. Although the target sudience is clearly teens, it is a quick and interesting read. I am typically not a huge fan of dystopic-type novels, however this is an interesting take on the future focused on a very compelling human story. The morality issues surrounding clones and the fact that they are not viewed as people is disturbing. Even more so the "zombies" that are actually people turned into mindless slaves via microchips implanted in their brains. I think the most disturbing thing (well... besides the idea of growing clones to harvets organs) is that the story is actually believable. The fact that it all revolves around the drug trade makes is even more so.
