First I would like to say I appreciate the effort of writing A book...let alone 3...so Im sorry for my unkind review but the amount of sheer constant mess that this story degrades into leaves you feeling bored, exhausted, and dissatisfied. Like an encounter with a selfish lover. It just feels heartbreaking because it has so much potential. Maybe a little more time spent on maturing and refining would have improved this book...and parts of it were briefly awesome...man i cant get away from this analogy. Let me just say this, it didnt feel like money well spent. the story is unfinished and reads a lot like hunger games without the finesse.

The Chaos Walking Trilogy puts every single dystopian book to shame! Mr. Ness is brutally honest and completely unafraid to show the horrors of war and humanity in the face of such horrors. While I love the Hunger Games, that is just a romance book in comparison to this book. This trilogy is absolutely mesmerizing!
