A Shade of Vampire 20: A Hero of Realms

I swear these stories get me sooo anxious and then ending with these cliffhangers! Ms. Forrest, your killin' me!! Now I'm left with nightmares and what if's as far as Ben is concerned? All joking aside the stories that this Author writes is what keeps us coming back and maintains our curiosity about the characters that she creates. Bravo, again Ms. Bella, I patiently await the next book? Although it is hard to wait!

Every book in the Shade series brings a new excitement!! The story continues and always an added twist to continue on. I love being lost in the Shade and can not wait to go back. Awesome as usual Bella!!! I hope you have a ton more books in the series because us Shaddicks will go crazy without the Shade!!

Bella Forrest’s cliffhangers are killing me! I really enjoyed this book and can't believe what Ben has had to go through. He has got the weight of the world on his shoulders, so many tough decisions need to be made and it is hard to know who he can trust. Bella keeps you guessing all the way through. I almost screamed when I got to the end and realised that I would have to wait again for the answers I so desperately need! I just hope that things turn out ok for everyone we love, I even felt sorry for characters that I previously hated which just goes to show how well Bella writes. So much happened in such a short space of time and now we are all left reeling and counting down the days until we can open book 21 and find out what happens next! Another amazing read, thank you Bella!

There’s really not much left to say about this series that I haven’t already said in my previous reviews, but I still love this series and I think it’s still going strong even after so many books! Things really heated up for Ben and his quest to “cure” himself (I won’t say from what in case you haven’t read book 19 yet!) and talk about a cliffhanger!! I really am counting the days until the next book is released because after that ending I can’t wait to see what that all means now! One thing about this series is that you really can’t guess anything because you’ll probably be wrong. Bella Forrest has the most amazing imagination that I’ve ever seen, how she can continue to come up with all these twists and turns and new storylines is mind boggling to me, but I am very thankful because it’s given us so many good books to enjoy and one epic adventure after another! This is one of my favorite long running series and I hope that it’ll continue for a long time to come!

As the Elders hold on Ben grows stronger, he becomes desperate. The Jinn will do anything within their power to help him rid the control the Elder has over his soul. They set off on what seems an impossible quest with enemies of old and new allies erupt. But not all is as it seems. Will Ben be able to fight what seems to be his inevitable destiny or will his strength to fight for all supernatural creatures overpower the great hold of the Elder? In a series of nail biting twists, turns and bitter betrayal, Bella leaves us yet again, on the edge of our seats with bated breath. This is one of the most powerful series I've read in some time. If you haven't yet began your journey in The Shade, I highly recommend starting with book one. It's an addiction that'll have to be satiated. Her writing sucks you into a mysterious world of mystical supernatural creatures that you'll instantly form an attachment to. Her writing is beyond exceptional. I've become so engrossed in these books, I've found I can't take the time to read anything else until I reach the final installment. Another well deserved 5 stars!

Most of this was told from Ben's perspective. Although I was certain I was gonna miss not knowing what River was going through or what she was thinking and other characters I've fallen in love with, I found myself wanting to know more about what was happening with Ben. I was not disappointed.

I love this series...I started reading it with the first book and haven't wanted to read any other books until I finished all the books of "A Shade of Vampire". I would highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys the Vampire books like Twilight.

I am completely addicted to these books. I wish they would just keep going because I think I could read about the Shade and all of the characters for the rest of my life and be content!

This is an amazing series and the characters and the writing are perfect! There is never a dull moment! Once you start reading you just can't put it down and you yearn for more!

It just keeps getting better with each new installment! Not just a rehashing of old story lines but new people, new environments, new worries to deal with as well as keeping up with characters I've become invested in.
