Marianne Williamson has done it again. Another profound, thought-provoking book. 'Tears to Triumph' is a must-read for everyone and anyone who is concerned about what's happening in the world and possibly with family, friends, acquaintances. Don't let the words 'spiritual' or 'enlightenment' turn you off or away. Give yourself the gift of this book and see how many ways you connect to what Marianne is sharing. At this time, more than any other, we need to honestly and seriously consider where we are going, how we got here and how to reset our course. Marianne is offering us all of this and much, much more.

This is an excellent uplifting book on everything from the epidemic overuse of prescription drugs for circumstantial depression to a comparison of Jesus, Moses, and Buddha and the spiritual path out of depression.

I found this book enlightening and well written. She addresses the topic of depression with wisdom and compassion. It is an excellent read for those who have depression or know of those who are afflicted with depression. I like the way she weaves spirituality and religions into her text, though she spend a bit too much time on it. I would've like more on the practical aspects of depression.

Love Marianne, and this just cements it for me. I was moved to years more than once simply from the truth of her words. I bought this on Kindle and loved it so much I just ordered a hard copy for a friend of mine who could use this wisdom, too.

This book is not for people with clinical depression. It is geared more toward people who have had a tragic even in their life that they are trying to work through.
I have read one of this author's other books and really enjoyed it, but this book talks too much about God for my personal taste. I really don't think you need to find God to live successfully with depression.
She does some "shaming" toward using medication to deal with depression. Yes, our society is way overmedicated--there's a pill for almost everything--but some people genuinely need antidepressants in order to function while they are working through their issues in therapy. Shaming someone who uses antidepressants is like shaming a diabetic for using an insulin pump.
Also, she talks a lot about how society as a whole is flawed (which it certainly is) and that we all need to come together and hold hands and sing "We Are the World" and everything will be just peachy. I don't really know how that is supposed to help me manage my depression.

This is an outstanding read for anyone seeking inspiration, encouragement or even comfort during difficult times or simple everyday life. I found it difficult to refrain from highlighting many lines on page after page.

AMAZING!!!!! This book was just what I needed... and I didn't even know it... but Marianne has articulated exactly what so many of us are feeling right now, and struggling with. THANK YOU MARIANNE for validating these feelings and once again keeping the flame of hope alive.

My first read through of this amazing book has already changed my life, and I intend to read it several times more. It's a slim book that is absolutely masterful in covering a topic we so much need in the world right now--how to come back to our true selves in the midst of what seems like overwhelming chaos, pain, cruelty, dishonesty, corruption, and despair. There IS another way, and Marianne has remained so faithful to this truth even as she too has suffered the setbacks of any human being trying to find light in a darkness that can feel so overwhelming. This book represents a different voice:a voice we need to hear in America; a voice we need to hear in the world; a voice we CAN hear in the depth of our own souls if we're willing to listen. A still small voice that is the only one speaking of real salvation. Thank you Marianne for your work and example.

Marianne is on a beautiful mission to assist the human race to meet its' soul. She is profound in her teaching, she is guided by God, she is a light to the world we are in desperate need of. She inspires me to share the messages as God wants us to hear them, from Him directly. Buy this book for yourself and gift it to another.

Beautiful written, 'at the right time' where on the level of the planet spiritual healing seems the only way out for all of us to wake up from all the suffering in the world and in our own lives. Mariannes book Tears to Triumph helps us to remind that we ourselves are 'the captains of our soul' and that we can choose to handle our most difficult situations in life, but only with the help of allowing our highest Spirit. Thank you so much Marianne. I will share the vision and share this book.
