Review:Checked this out from the library. My 14 year old son found it as hilarious as I did. My 11 year old son mostly just pitied the dino. When I insisted a friend read it he did and then promptly put on his T-Rex costume I forgot he had. Read more
Review:With everything that's going on... The CW's show "The Flash" doing Flashpoint in season 3, and with the DC Universe Rebirth, as well as Flash: Rebirth, this comic is absolutely essential. This is where everything changes... In a flash. Read more
Review:I recently started reading comics again and this was a great point to start back in. The art is amazing and the story is top notch. The Geoff Johns run on Green Lantern is one of the best comic story runs you can read. Read more
Review:While the creative team involved has made every effort to echo the themes of the original mega-crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis reads less like a multiverse spanning epic and more like just another Superman story, albeit with more guest stars than usual. To explain why this story could have easily fit into the monthly Superman or Action title would be to give away too much of the plot. Suffice to say, that the major antagonists are all "Super"-related as is much of the act... Read more
Review:The binding was a little messed up. It was coming apart a little bit on the inside and the outer top corner was smashed in. But, hey the book itself is a great read and I recommend you buy it if you like horror graphic novels. Just don't get it from this seller. Read more
Review:Outcast follows a guy named Kyle who is battling/coming out of a deep depression. In this story, people seem to be randomly possessed by demons. A priest has been exorcising them with difficulty and when he meets up with Kyle (they knew each other several years prior) they discover that Kyle's touch irritates the demons and if he touches them long enough, the demons will leave the bodies they are possessing. This possession has happened to Kyle's mother and his ex-wife; he thinks whatever is hap... Read more
Review:If you are tried of pretty, seductive vampires and enjoy graphic novels, then you need to try this book.
There is a new kind of vampire rising in the American West and things the kill the old ones don't seem to have any effect on the new ones.
Sunlight turning vampires into ash? While these new vampires still can't tan, sunlight doesn't seem to be a problem.
That's only a hint at the changes in the new vampires.
This book is a mix of two stories. The year 1880 and 192... Read more
Review:Very interesting novel. I love the fluidity of the narratives between the father and daughter. Also the flashbacks are beautifully integrated into action sequences without losing any momentum. Highly recommend reading. Read more
Review:A few months prior to the release of Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky's SEX CRIMINALS, the buzz amongst creators was huge. Ed Brubaker, an occasional collaborator with Fraction from his IMMORTAL IRON FIST days, called it the best new series in years. While I don't know if I'd go QUITE that far, this delicious, hilarious, heart-felt, smart and shameless comic is by far the best new series of 2013.
Suzie is a smart and attractive young woman with a host of problems. She lost her parents at to... Read more
Review:Another amazing, painful, and perfect volume. It'll tear you apart, but you won't be able to walk away, no matter how much it hurts.
I'm not going to give you any info about the story (no spoilers and such) but I will say you're probably gonna get teary... Read more
