Review:This comes with the Bigby War Stories & Mean Seasons story arcs... Along with 1001 Nights of Snowfall. Now don't get me wrong it's all great, it's just Mean Seasons is the only arc that actually pushes the story forward, and that's only 4 issues. So you get plenty more Fables, but not much more for the ongoing story. For that, see Book 5 (Best arc so far is in that!). But if you love Fables this is an obvious buy. Read more
Review:I love what he has done with these childhood stories. He's made them GROW UP just like we who have listened to the stories all this time have grown up. It's fantastic and hilarious and shocking. Great job, man. Read more

Review:Black Panther has always been a deep character. Ta-Nehisi Coates has elevated the scope of the characters story to one that invites the reader to dive deeply into the culture of Wakandan life and does not seek to gloss over the land as utopian but a completely developed country, full of intrigue, intelligence and yes sometimes violence. Review:This felt like pretentious noir, like an action screenplay. "Caught in some variant of that abstract..." What? Come on, give me a break! This is about a stunt driver who also drives for guys robbing pawn shops, etc. He also does a number of cold blooded murders. It is my humble opinion that noir tends to get over-rated by the critics. They love the genre and noir authors are getting away with murder. Read more
Review:Heard before V for vendetta was a good story, read also other Moore's stories (killing joke, spawn) but his was the best! No restrictions for Moore's universe with an excelent story. Art does not get behing and is an excelent complement to the story. A must read comic Read more
Review:Straczynski's second volume picks up nicely where the first leaves off, both humanizing and distancing the Kryptonian in such a unique fashion, it's almost stunning to think that is hasn't been down before now. Truly a great read. Kudos to Straczynski for making the Man of Steel relevant again. Read more

However, there were numerous parts where I did not know what the heck was going on. I was introduced to characters I never heard of. Perhaps I'm new to this but I felt that I had to do a lot of investigating to understand what was going on. I did not enjoy this read. I would suggest borrowi... Read more
