Review:Not only are these poems sweet and to the point but they've all got a deep Grimm undertone. The kind of undertone that makes you realize things about your own self. I felt a little more in touch with who I am after finishing this read and I also passed it on to others so that I could discuss it with others. I NEEDED to talk about this book. Just like you NEED to buy it. Read more
Review:Oscar Wilde must have been quite the character in his day. This play about mistaken identity is not only laugh out loud funny but cutting at the same time. He skewers the upper class with his observations about their behaviour. No wonder it has been done in countless theaters over the years and been made into at least one film that I can think of. Review:This version of play was good and the actors captured the tone of the play well. The actors playing Lady Bracknell, Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew were very good. The male characters were portrayed at an acceptable level but not was good as the female characters. I would recommend this version. Read more

Review:EATERS OF THE DEAD is an interesting historical novel that takes place in 922 A.D., during the time of the Vikings. Michael Crichton uses this time period to essentially retell the story of BEOWULF, which he felt was too boring and tedious for modern audiences. The story involves a small band of Vikings that journey northward to attack a group of monsters (whose true identity is revealed at the end of the book).
This book is actually pretty interesting, but it's told in rather dry, old-... Read more
Review:This was the worst Crichton book I have read. The first half plus of the book was filled with slams on the Japanese which may or may not have been true at the time. At any rate reading these was not the least bit entertaining. The characters were dull and uninteresting. To me, this book was a chore to labor through and I was glad to finally finish (and hopefully soon forget). Read more
