Review:There's only one God, sorry guys. :-(
You know what all these Alien pushers forget or just don't know is that when God made man, aka Adam, he used 100% of his brain. So did all the kids he had. We use maybe 5-10% max! These people were ALL geniuses! Don't you think they could build all the cities of old! Read more
Review:For anybody who likes this book, check out Human Accomplishment by Charles Murray, a bigger (and more scholarly) attempt to categorize four thousand important people in history. I'm sure lots of readers would like to change the order (and/or contents) of Hart's list of 100 influential people, and somehow get offended that Hart ranked so-and-so higher than such-and-such, but this book is just plain fun to read, especially if you are from Scotland (which is disproportionately represented). Review:Thorough examination of potential causes of the end of the Late Bronze Age sans arrogant assumptions or condescending references. Builds on previous work without discounting any and provides multiple points of view. Read more
Review:Lots of interesting stuff here, especially the work on the true location of the Garden of Eden. I understand the need for many of these researchers to distance themselves from Ancient Alien theorists. Mr. Collins seems intent on doing this and it's a bit too much for my taste. Read more
Review:People argue whether these theories make sense or not. I see that it is an amazing reading to open one's mind. Graham Hancock puts himself in the frontline to show us soundly that history as we know may have not been so, and he ventures into an interesting and honest journey to satisfy his genuine curiosity, without pretenses. I love it. I feel it utterly honest and that's what I like the most about it. Read more
Review:This book should be read by High Schools across the nation. This will probably never happen, because the truth hurts and the truth will set you free, the facts are harsh and eye opening. But if you want to know how history shaped our surrounding now then this is a great book. It cannot be read in one sitting but its an interesting book, a great read! Read more
Review:The atrocities that were committed in both the Soviet Union and Germany before and during WWII are staggering. This book does a tremendous job of bringing to light the magnitude of that loss of life. I believe this book should be a must read. Read more
Review:An informative, smart history of the world written around 100 objects from the British Museum. Great idea, and well executed. Easy to dip in and out of. I got smarter and enjoyed myself at the same time. Recommended. Read more
Review:This is one of the books by Finklestein and Silberman. Based on verified archaeological finds, they reconstruct the history of the early Bible and show it did not happen in the time period or in the way claimed by the Bible. The conservative Christian will not like this book, because it contradicts much of what many consider to be the history of the Bible. I found the book to be scholarly and very well documented. If Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did not exist, or did not exist in the appropriate... Read more
Review:Here's a good Brain-Teaser ,.,.,. that everyone can empathize with!!!
How did human beings get here??? Where did we come from???
There are "2" good answers that everyone is aware of:
1- Evolution, Darwinism; we evolved from a damn monkey!
[I could never buy this explanation! I believe it's Nazism, "the blacks" being the missing link.]
2- Creationism; a God made the people! [I could never buy this hokus-pokus, faith is their only support.]
DID YOU KNOW TH... Read more
