The Final Warning: A Maximum Ride Novel (Book 4)
The Final Warning: A Maximum Ride Novel (Book 4)

Review:My friends and I love the Maximum Ride series, and I think James Patterson has done a really nice job on the books, but this fourth book sucked! I mean, I like that James is trying to spread the message about global warming, but the melting oceans and the flock do not mix. There was barely any kick-butt-action, unlike the three other books in the series. One of my friends wouldn't even finish this book. Plus, this cover was seriously bad. Really really bad. I just hope the fifth book will be muc... Read more

The Narrows (Harry Bosch)
The Narrows (Harry Bosch)

Review:Looking for proof that Michael Connelly is the best mystery novelist today? The Narrows is evidence enough. On a very simple level, this is a mystery novel about a serial killer, "The Poet," and at least 14 murders attributed to him in this current wave of mayhem. It's also about a complex ex-LAPD homicide detective, Harry Bosch, and a frustrated FBI Behavioral Sciences Unit reject agent, Rachel Walling. The characters are complex, conflicted, believable, and stretched beyond what is expected bu... Read more

A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist

Review:After ending a series I was looking for a new book and came across Girl last seen, after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. GLS is nothing like anything I've read lately I'd recommend to anyone.

The Novels of Gillian Flynn - Sharp Objects - Dark Places
The Novels of Gillian Flynn - Sharp Objects - Dark Places

Review:Probably what Gillian Flynn was going for but not an enjoyable read compared to Gone Girl or Sharp objects. The characters were repellent and the storyline took too long to become intriguing. I did have to read to the end to find out "who done it" but found myself skipping parts to just get to the end! Read more

Murder List (Buchanan / Renard / MacKenna Book 4)
Murder List (Buchanan / Renard / MacKenna Book 4)

Review:I was somewhat forced to endure the pain of listening to the audio version of this book while on a long road trip. I hated it form the very start. The prologue was stupid and useless. The central story kept being lost by forced secondary stories that once they had achieved their simple goal were left hanging (not that I was at the end of my seat waiting for their resolution). I hated the characters - all of them.

I get angry from just remembering the stupid, annoying character voices and... Read more

The Terminal List: A Thriller
The Terminal List: A Thriller

Review:Yeager sent me!!

I used to read constantly when I was younger. It probably has been 12 years since I've picked up a book and finished it. I just read the last pages of The Terminal List. What a great story! The attention to detail made it easy to picture what was happening. This book has made me get back into ready. Can't wait to watch this on the big screen, as it would be a shame if they didn't make this a movie.

Can't wait to read your next book Mr Carr. Read more
