Review:WARNING - Do not buy Sovereign Grace Publishers Henry Cole translation of Bondage of the Will.
After slogging through 95 pages of its barely understandable jargon, I asked my dad, Pastor Gerry Mohr (LCMS) if Luther's reputation for intellect was, perhaps, a bit unearned. He replied, "Cole whipped out his translation effort in three months or less. Luther's original is a direct reply to a work by Erasmus directly aimed against what Luther was teaching. Cole does not take the time to und... Read more
Review:I found it to be too long, drawn out. I thought it would be more about The Shacks insite and not dry history. Disappointed as I was I continued to read and did learn from his book. It just was not what I expected when I bought the book, and the many pages in the end I felt was not necessary. His title is misleading. It should be "The Shack Revisited" by reading the pages over and over again until you can connect it with the shack. Then read all the pages of the humans I give credit to for my... Read more
Review:This is not just a book about Dr. Frankl's experiences as a concentration camp (Auschwitz) survivor. It is an inspiring explanation of how a person's outlook on any situation is not subjective, but instead, objective. One's purpose in life and meaning on this world does not have to be defined by society's measure of success. Very inspiring, to say the least. Read more

Review:Disappointing because the conversation bunches from place to place and it never seems a line of thought is finished. I am not really seeing what is suppose to be so great about this Campbell guy. Seems like somewhere along the line someone said he was great and the lemmings follow. Perhaps I will give him a third strike but this book and a DVD did nothing for me. Read more
Review:I have read almost every major book on this subject, Dawkins, Harris, Barker etc. and thought I would be reading redundant information. I was pleasantly suprised at the content as well as the way David Mills writes. I wish this book could replace every bible ever printed and it should be mandatory reading for anyone befor taking a leap of FAITH. Execellent book Mr. Mills. I wish you where my neighbor so we could chat and you could help me write a best seller. Good on you my friend,PEACE. Read more

Review:I didn't start out enjoying the book until I realized how broad the scope of Atheist beliefs are.
I believe if you have any question of Is there a God then take time to read this book and each
argument to the Atheist understanding. No Question, There is a God. Read more
Review:If you honestly think that faith is "pretending to know things you don't know", then you are dangerously naive and not just when it comes to religion. For example, Dawkins has said in his great, new book that he was abused when he was younger. I have faith that Dawkins is telling the truth even though his statement is not falsifiable due to the passage of time and there is no hard evidence to support his statement. My conviction that he is telling the truth is based upon my judgment of the man a... Read more
