Spies & Politics
Review:Great read. The characters are well drawn and are very believable. The plot was interesting. You can’t go wrong with a Robert Craig’s novel. I’ve read all of his books and have never been disappointed by any off them. Read more
Review:Workload wouldn't let me post here the review that Fatherland deserves. It's in the same line as Orwell's 1984, equally credible and frightening, sustains suspense till the last page. But while reading it I sensed, rather than felt, there is no so much to celebrate in the fact that Allied countries defeated German Fascism. And that is because what occurs today with Neoliberalism, with so-called Globalization, has facilitated the arising of a monster much more pervasive and destructive of the hum... Read more
Review:Martin Cruz Smith has a very narrative and descriptive style of writing that lets you visualize the characters and their surroundings, greatly increasing the readers enjoyment. This storyline hints to supernatural overtones and is an interesting slice of modern life in Russia. Yet another high-quality read! Read more
Review:This was signature Gray Man stuff. Great plot, great action with enough unexpected events to keep me in suspense as Mark Greaney wove his tale. I would recommend this to Gray Man fans or American Assassin fans or readers of similar books in this spy genre. Read more
Review:I delayed reading this book for years because of other books by Deaver that were like a gumbo of The West Wing and a basic cop procedural. This book was trippy, scary, sad, and erudite. I wouldn't have imagined Deaver could weave such a captivating tale. Bravo!!!!!! Read more

Review:Jason Bourne has given me much pleaseure over the years. I loaded this one on kindle with anticipation.
The violence in the opening pages was over the top.
Then the scene set in Russian security felt just like that in which Jason has been involved so many times before - in Russia or the US.
The book turned me off and did not interest me enough to continue readingg. Read more
Review:I didn’t like this vampire-theme story. Too dark for my taste. With that said, bloodsucking vampires seem to be the rave these days (just check your tv listings) and its written well enough that folk who do enjoy that stuff might enjoy this book.
I bought the book (to my regret) and added the audio (double regret!). Hated the female reader and the audio never completely downloaded. Just kept “calculating”. This was my first and last time reading this author. A waste of my money. Just not... Read more
Review:A very fast paced and energetically written novel. Not Eric's best but certainly entertaining and worth your time to read.
This should answer some questions about Jason Bourne and will certainly raise new ones. Read more
