A Beginner's Guide to Learning Spanish the Word-and-Picture Way

Review:Refresher or introduction, works well, simple, effective. I wish I had ordered this for my first trip into Mexico. I am looking forward to my return with this somewhat dated book, which I am sure will serve me well. Read more

A Self-Teaching Guide - Concepts and Problems
A Self-Teaching Guide - Concepts and Problems

Review:Excelent. The method of asking you questions right after you read a paragragh works very well. You might still need more in-depth treatments of the subject from traditional text books depending on your needs, but overall the book gives you a clear introduction/brush-up to basic chemistry. The unofficial guide to the new Google Drive - Sheets & Slides

Review:My son gave me a Chromebook to replace my Netbook. He helped me prepare a slide presentation at work and transfer it to Slides. I understand it more now. I took the presentation with a small projector to a realtor function. It went well (except they said I could have shown it from a thumb drive. My other szon got a Slimport so I can show the presentation from my Nexus. Also, printing from the cloud has been FD last and easy. Thank you! Read more

The Yearling (Aladdin Classics)
The Yearling (Aladdin Classics)

Review:I highly recommend this book to readers. It is a very interesting story about a little boy who takes care of a young fawn; they both grow up; Jody becomes a man and the fawn becomes a yearling. But in order for Jody to let go of his boy-hood, he had to kill the yearling.
The end was so sad, you have to read it. Read more

Review:These books (two of them) covers every subject you always wanted to know more about. Great for Doctor's office or red lights. The material is short and full of knowledge.

I great present.

From Fox Hunting to Whist-the Facts of Daily Life in Nineteenth-Century England

Review:Like some other readers with a knowledge of 19th century history, I found this book to be full of errors. There are also errors in the references to the plots and characters of the handful of 19th century novels to which the author refers.
It was also very repetitive; sometimes the same piece of information is repeated three times in as many pages.
The book needed to be edited and fact-checked. Read more
