Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life - Color Edition
Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life - Color Edition

Review:All I kept on thinking while reading this graphic novel is I need to see the movie again, it's been to long. About everybody is familiar with Scott Pilgrim and the story line so I don't need to go into a major description. I really liked this graphic novel, how it's put together in a hardback book, great full color illustrations and a very entertaining dialogue. The Afterword was very informative to learn how Bryan Lee O'Malley started writing Scott Pilgrim and how it evolved. Read more

Review:I bought this book for myself, but plan to share with young people. It will be easy for them to read and they will learn about our country; we are not always the greatest nation in the world. We are not always exceptional. This book is written by someone who lived it. Bless him for writing it. Read more

Review:This book was a struggle for me. The lettering is awkward and makes it hard to read. The story is painful and moves very slowly. I kept losing interest and having to restart. Finally, I gave it to the library. Read more

Review:I enjoyed the story, though it had quite a different feel than Sanderson's usual works. This may be because it's a graphic novel, so only the dialog and narration are visible. You can read my full review over on MySF Reviews. Read more

It ended up being a lurid comic strip thing on shiny paper and the drawings were terrible in my opinion. I suppose we all have a picture in our head about what Jamie and Claire might look like but this book ruined it for me. I have shown this book to family and friends and they are all di... Read more

Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson: Homecoming
Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson: Homecoming

Review:Amazon could have made it much clearer this was a graphic comic. Buyer beware. The lack of info provided is ridiculous and downright misleading. NOT at all the author's fault though--so giving it 4 stars because reviews should be about content, not poor salesmanship. If you like graphic novels I'm sure this will be great. Read more
