Review:I read "Dark Pools" and
Flash Boys by Michael Lewis. I was going to buy only Flash boys, but bought this book also on the high recommendations. If you are going to read one book on the subject of the impact of HFT, I suggest you pass this one, and read Flash Boys. I really found "Dark Pools" to be much less readable for two reasons. Review:After having read several books about trading and investing, I came across this one here. I have read it on my Kindle and enjoyed the style of writing. Well, I did not lose a million because I had none, but made similar mistakes as laid out in this book. Giving emotions the control over your actions is like in nearly every situation a bad thing to have, but it hurts especially in the markets.
