Review:I have a relative who went through nurse training in the fifties of the past century. American training was quite a bit different, and the rules were less fierce. Ms. Craig is a good descriptive writer but not of the first rank. As a memoir it was great to be cast back into a different era. It is good enough that I will share it with a friend who is a nurse, educated in the same era but at a Medical College, rather than in a hospital school of nursing. Lawton Posey Read more
Review:Pocket Books should be ashamed of publishing such a badly-written horribly edited book. Really too bad because I think the theories deserve some real thought and documented research. One hundred pages of references doesn't mean a thing if you can't line up a fact with a reference (who did the research that says we only get one billion heart beats?). Review:This book is very informative about the back pain industry and alternative ways of helping your back. However, the people involved in the alternative ways differ greatly in philosophy and approach. It is quite confusing out there if you're trying to diminish or heal your back pain.
