Review:Stacy Schiff unwittingly reviews her own book on page 347 when she writes this about Cotton Mather's work defending the indefensible...."THE WORK IS JUMBLED, LUMPY, AND DELIRIOUSLY INCOHERENT!! Review:Probably one of my most favorite books I’ve picked up this year, it was recommended to me by a friend and now it’s part of my daily reading. It’s a great pick me up (I have anxiety so there’s stuff in here that isn’t exhausting but very useful).
