Review:As always with Jon Krakauer a wonderful book. Informative, detailed and with whatever he brings up about Mortenson well substantiated. A great story to read made overly pleasant by one of the best writers there is! Read more

Review:This book will teach you who were the real heroes of World War II. I did not know how much the people of Poland contributed to the defeat of the Nazis and the truth will come out. Bravo to the brave men and women of Poland who saved democracy in Europe! A must read to all who love history. Read more
Review:This book surprised me as I felt Theodore Roosevelt has gone down in history as a great man and president. History proves this to be true, but this author denies the facts. In his opinion Roosevelt led us into World War II single handedly. This does not ring true.
I really hope that people read on after this book and learn the truth about Teddy Roosevelt.] Read more
