Review:Thanks for the book GuitarSage. I have used the author's website for the last 4 years of learning to play guitar. A great teacher if you are starting out, with a great sense of humor. Had a quick look through the book, super for beginners, with links at the back to his youtube lessons. He teaches lots of songs on his youtube site and you can request for songs too!! Review:This book was much more about the authors broad generalization and view of the Southern US, sometimes misguided, than it ever was about James Brown. I couldn't finish it after 2/3rds complete, I tried to push through it. The little bit of info actually gleaned on James Browns life can easily be found on Wikipedia. Review:This book is simple to use, and attractive and appealing for my 7 year old son who is learning the play the piano. As you know 7 year olds have a short attention span, and they like text, graphics, etc. that is inviting and fun. This book does just that.
