This book exceeded all my expectations. In fact I really wasn't expecting to love this book quite as much as I did.

This is the story of Lizzie Cooper and Theo Drummond's journey to a happy ending. I wasn't sure if this was meant to be a comedy romance or not. I'm pretty sure it is. But whilst I didn't have huge laugh out loud moments I did find this book very light hearted and totally endearing. I think I permanently had a smile on my face the entire time.

I'm not going to mention the details of the storyline too much, as I feel that the synopsis pretty much sums up this book. I have to say though that Lizzie behind the phone to Theo was way more sassy to begin with and I loved how Phone Lizzie held nothing back.

Theo was an unusual character for me. Initially I had him down as a bit of a reclusive scientist/CEO which was something I had never really come across in a romance book before, however his hotness was definitely familiar and his character just grew and grew for me, the more interaction he had with Lizzie. He had never had anyone speak to him quite like she did.

This then brings me onto Sasha. She's your typical female antagonist. In other words she's a bit of a nasty piece of work. But I've made it no secret in the past that I do love a good fictional baddie.

Since reading this book it has come to my attention that there is a link to another one of Annika's books (Most Eligible Billionaire), however it is my understanding that both of these are completely standalone.

Having read only Annika's, Dangerous Royals series prior to this book, I have to say I really feel Annika has matured immensely as a writer. And that's not to say I didn't love her previous work, just that I think her talent has grown massively. All in all this is definitely a book and an author I would recommend to anyone wanting to discover someone or something new.

Atention everyone !!! If You don't want to feel embarrased ...don't read this book in public places ☺

I love rom- com but this book was my first meeting with Annika Martin. In the past I saw here and there her name, and maybe some covers books of her also stick out in my eyes. But I didin't give her chance ... what a shame for me... now I know that living without Annika's books was very, very BIG FAT mistake.

Till page no 1 I coudln't put this book down. You can have fun on me now... because I started reading it in train, full of people, without any suspicion... They started watching me confused, very quickly because I coudln't stop myself from burst of laughing.

All we have here is a bad Boss-
Theo, crazy new-girl- Lizzie and then the madness begin.
The story just getting better.

Theo and Lizzy totally ruled my reading world today !!!

FOR sure I'll read more Annika's books.

I'll be brutally honest.

The title & cover has cliche & chic lit written all over it. The blurb promises a fun & quick romance and seems like the kind of book that I'd read when I needed a break from all the angst and drama, something to curl up with when you're in bed.

Looks can be deceiving.

With me being so quick to judge, I dove into this story with ZERO expectations and only filled with the promise of the light & easy - how shallow I was - this quickly turned from a "oooh, what a nice surprise!" to "sobs, cries, where the hell is those dang ghost onions?!"
==

I was hooked from the first page.

It's so refreshing that both the hero - Theo & the heroine - Lizzy are equivalently passionate, intelligent and genuine. I am a science geek and a dessert enthusiast, to pair a smart and hot guy in lab coat with a passionate woman with a strong sweet tooth, Annika Martin created the ONE. TRUE. PAIRING.

A Modern Day Cinderella Story...of some sort...

If Cinderella is a sassy employee and Prince Charming is a misanthrope, their story starts with a story like this:

Cinderella (Lizzy) was once living her dream. In between managing her shop & falling in love, life was great. Until the day it wasn't. And Cinderella found herself in the lair of a misanthropic CEO who hates fame & social media, yet ironically working as the company's social strategist. With a twist of fate that ended up with Cinderella being Prince Charming's "wake up call" girl, it's during these magical 4.30 am conversations where she found her true self. But when all calls are off & the illusion of fantasy disappears, will Prince Charming be able to find Cinderella with only her voice? With no name and no details, Prince Charming sets on a hunt to find his perfect girl, but will he realize that she has been hiding in plain sight all along?

Final Thoughts

I absolutely adored every single aspect of this story, the writing, the plot progression, the romance, the mystery, the emotions, the hero/heroine and the badass sidekick, it was PERFECTION at its very best.

I may be new to Annika Martin's works but I'm more driven than ever to continue searching for her books!

I LOVED this book!!! You need to read it!!!!

Lizzie Cooper is sweet, funny and confident. She is trying to recover from a financial situation. She is strong and independent. Lizzie lands a job at Vossameer Inc. and will get a large sign on bonus after thirty days of employment. This is vital to her current financial situation.

Theo Drummond, CEO of Vossameer Inc., is a crazy-smart scientist. He’s observant and yet oblivious. He is also a control freak. Gruff and reclusive, he never shows anyone the real him hidden behind formulas and lab coats.

…this is the control freak responsible for the stern and joyless workplace that is Vossameer.

Lizzie’s boss gives her the task of finding a new wakeup call service for Theo. How hard can that be?

Answer: practically impossible. It turns out that no wake-up call company in the world will take him on as a client. They’ve all had enough of his surly personality.

Desperate, Lizzie decides to do the wakeup calls herself. She needs her job and doesn’t want to disappoint her boss. What ensues is hilarious! With a little coaching from her roommate Mia, Lizzie makes her first “unorthodox” wake-up call. Lizzie’s no-nonsense calls do not go unnoticed by Theo. After all, no one wants to upset the very serious Mr. Drummond! But he finds it refreshing and new to have someone stand up to him.

His hotness has its own force. It has its own gravity. It has its own zip code, miles past the neighborhood of stop staring and deep in the religious-experience-of-beauty zone.

The chemistry between Lizzie and Theo was great! The phone calls – hilarious and then HOT! Smoking HOT! Things get crazy! But Lizzie and Theo also develop a connection over the phone, one that blooms into more….

This woman. I need more of her. I need to know her.

What an unexpected, delicious, sexy surprise! Annika Martin is a new-to-me author. I really enjoyed this book! At times I was even laughing out loud. Lizzie and Theo are so well written. The story was fun and interesting with a bit of an emotional side to it. It kept me turning the pages! I also loved Lizzie’s best friend, Mia. There were a lot of fun moments with her and Lizzie. I look forward to reading more from Annika Martin!

The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl by Annika Martin is a beautiful, full length, standalone romance novel.
Meet Theo Drummond. He's CEO of Vossameer and work is his life. He's a scientist and his calling is to be a chemist. He breathes and lives for the company, only 'his social skills are seriously lacking. He's feared and avoided at all costs by his employees.
And then there's Lizzie - Elizabeth Cooper - his newest public relations person. She needs this job and paycheck bad. Her ex was a con man who betrayed her bad. And now she has a lot of debts.
The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl is a bit a cinderella story . The writing is great and the story is well written and entertaining. I loved the characters, their bicker and banter. I give 4 beautiful stars.

I’m conflicted writing this review because I liked some parts, didn’t care for other parts, and I didn’t find the book laugh-out-loud funny as other readers found it. I found it humorous and enjoyable, not hilarious. It was a great story about a girl who thinks out of the box and resolves her situation, and a guy who seems to like sassy girls because he fell for her when she greeted him the first morning with “Wake up, m-f-ker”, and then proceeded to shot down any ego he might have.

I found Lizzie and her bestie Mia adorable from the start. Lizzie used to own a bakery but her boyfriend embezzled funds, left her not only broke but owing money to a loan shark, and disappeared. Frequent images of broken kneecaps kept her going when her current job turned impossible. Mia is her roommate, an aspiring actress, and a very supporting friend.

Theo Drummond, CEO of Vossameer, is tyrannical and egotistical. He manages his company with little joy, keeping a workplace void of any color, decoration or food that smells. The employees both fear him and admire him, and they all seem to live a stressful work life.

The story is the classic trope about the lowly office girl, very creative, talented, and efficient, and her manager who takes all the credit for her work. Lizzie was forced to dress like a frump so the company CEO wouldn’t see her and only see the results that she produced for Sasha, her manager. When the CEO requested a telephone wake-up service, Lizzie was tasked to find the service and found out that there are no services available. So she took it upon herself to supply the service, which consisted of calls every workday at 4:30AM.

The phone calls were crazy and unbelievable. Starting with the incredible greeting phrase and continuing with the sexual content. Lizzie, acting as Operator Seven, shot down Theo Drummond, CEO of Vossameer and master of all he surveyed. I had a hard time accepting that a man would get attached to a woman based on voice and sexiness as perceived through the phone, but that happened to Theo. The phone sex that ensued after the wake-ups were very hot and explicit. This part of the story was not believable for me, but it was necessary to develop the rest of the story.

Even though Theo starts out acting like a jerk, later in the book he mellows, mostly because Lizzie won’t take crap from him. He shows his better side, which is a caring and protective guy, if a little overbearing. Theo’s sister Willow also appears, helping out her brother with her mad computer skills. I’m hoping there will be stories about Willow and Mia because they were great characters.

The book was entertaining and I liked Theo and Lizzie as a couple. Ioved that we get to see Henry, Vicky and Smuckers again in this book. Apart from the crazy phone calls, the rest of the story was entertaining and the love story very yummy and romantic.

For all that is holy and sacred Annika Martin has delivered the most delightful and hilarious book. There is no doubt that she is the Queen of the Romantic Comedy. The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl is a priceless masterpiece wrapped in an exquisite cover. This is the kind of book that lightens your day in the best way possible. It is a sparkling unicorn! Best. Rom-Com. Ever.

The storyline is a refreshing and too compelling. I was hooked from the first pages. I devoured each chapter like if tomorrow does not exist. The pacing is fast and smooth in the right moments. The dual POVs added a special touch that had me over the moon all the time. No book has ever made me laugh hard, like a possessed hyena. The plot is brilliant, witty and unique.

There is nothing better than reading Annika Martin’s books. Her writing is mind-bending, addictive and so hot! Her pen is always on fire! I wonder what inspires her to create such arrogant and strong male characters. And for each one of them there is a sassy, independent and hard-working woman who turned their world upside down.

Delighted by the strong chemistry between the main characters, fascinated with the interaction between them and painfully addicted and wanting more is how I felt after finishing this book. All was madly calculated to ruin me and left me with a big book hangover. Annika plays beautifully with her readers. Her writing is the perfect dose for a book addict like you and me! There should be a warning in each of her books that should state: “My books are hilarious, dirty, and savage and oh so good. Beware that they will melt your brain like an ice cream”. LOL

Mr. Drummond won my heart with his bad-boy lips. Sorry ladies but I am a softie. For the first time in my life I was quite interested in chemistry. He is the man capable of tormenting any hot-blooded woman. He is a sinful CEO and hot AF! His icy attitude and antisocial skills made him impossibly attractive and mysterious. He is reserved and all possessive and caveman with Eli. She literally shook his world and defies him like no other.

Eli is my heroine literally. She is a strong, independent woman. She is like a phoenix. She reborn from ashes. She lose her cookie business because of a con man tricked her. So she works temporarily in Vossameer. She hides herself in order to to keep her position and the bonus they will pay her. She needs the money. She will do everything, even being the wake-up-call girl Mr. Dummmond needs. Fate has funny and hilarious ways to match people together.

Theo and Eli are like water and oil. They are totally opposite. Enemies and then lovers. They are dynamite and hot as fire. The attraction between them is deep and sizzling. Eli is warm like the sun and Theo is cold like ice. Will Eli be able to melt Theo’s cold walls? Will she trust her heart to a controlling man like Mr. Drummond?

I absolutely recommend you this book. It is perfect for all the readers who love funny and steamy Rom-Coms! And if your thing is the enemies to lovers romance, this will be your choice of book. Annika will wrap you like a spicy burrito!

The Billionaire's Wake-Up Call Girl was a brilliantly written, laugh-out-loud funny story filled with witty dialogue and sizzling hot chemistry. Annika Martin is one of my favorite authors, and with this story she gives readers a heartfelt and unexpected love story between two completely different people.

“Wake up, motherf****er," I say. "It's time to rise and shine, ok?"

Theo and Lizzie were two really well-written characters. While some rom-coms tend to lack character development, this book contained two well-written main characters, each multi-layered and so likeable. Lizzie was such a witty, intelligent, strong girl, with a sense of humor that had me hanging on to her every word. Life had knocked her down pretty hard but she refused to stay down. She made me laugh so many times, especially during her phone conversations with Theo. Theo was so stoic and straight-laced, a self-professed workaholic who put work before everything else, including his personal life. His interactions with Lizzie brought out a different side to him, which was awesome to witness. These two were absolutely perfect together, and everything from their intense sexual tension to their opposite personalities was so well done.

"He's such a control freak that it's not enough for him to run his own company like Stalin on steroids, now he has to tell me how to do my imaginary job."

Their back and forth banter was on-point and made for some seriously hilarious scenes. The dual POV allowed the reader to see their unconventional relationship through both of their lenses. Their chemistry was off the charts, and their intimate moments, both over the phone and in person, were among the hottest I've ever read. This was one of those couples who truly brought out the best in each other, and Martin did a fabulous job showing their progression as a couple.

"This blend of dislike and obedience and heat is the most f***ing erotic combination I've ever experienced."

Annika Martin wove such a unique and enjoyable storyline, with just enough unpredictability to keep me completely engaged while reading. The mix of warmth and angst, comedy and romance was really well done. I really hope that this author has more romantic comedies planned in the future, because she truly excels in this genre.

Fun, exciting, frustrating, sexy, and an all-around excellent read! With this story, we get to see what happens when a scientist get to make the workplace sensible, logical. The effect that has on the worker's, even while they regard you with awe-like feelings, but the lack of microwave popcorn just rubs them the wrong way. What if someone said what they thought, and what if they were caught? What if anonymity in the workplace is the only way to survive, but your real thoughts were expressed in a phone call you thought hadn't happened? What if your boss liked it?

The story starts with a feeling of the man behind the cloak is the mystery, and it is revealed that it is, but the story then moves to the woman behind the calls, and doing what she needs to survive. The bad lady in the story, she is a wicked witch and I cringed when she came around, she gets her comeuppance, but not after doing some damage a few times. The wizard that is Theo Drummond is not all he seems, but his unawareness of his single-mindedness makes him so endearing. Lizzie is just trying to make it through the pitfalls her life is tossing at her along the way. She has figured out how to get where she needs to be, and is missing the big things along the way in her journey. While catching the small things, and gathering supporters, her past is affecting her present, when the situations are not at all similar. She learns, finally, sometimes, the tequila is right, which is an important life lesson

and just when all hope is lost, or so it seems, a certain white pup saves the day, yet again . Yes, near the very end, when our climax is nearly ruined, by a person doing their job all too well, of course, *squee* Smuckers makes an appearance!!!!!! (if you are like, WTH, you'll get it when you see it)

This book had me giggling, cringing, and on the edge of tears for our perfect pair so many times. I loved, loved, loved it all!

I love everything Annika Martin writes, but her romantic comedies hold a special place in my heart. They are simply fabulous, and The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl is no exception. It’s a sexy enemies-to-lovers romance with page after page of laugh-out-loud humor, swoon-worthy romance and characters you’ll fall in love with. The sexual tension between the hero and heroine sizzles, especially during their morning phone calls, and their antagonistic, rapid-fire banter is so much fun. The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl is feel-good romance at its finest and an absolute must-read.

Lizzie is opinionated, stubborn, and kind hearted to a fault. She gave everything she had to her dream business, but unfortunately she put her faith in the wrong man. Now her credit is shot and Lenny the loan shark is on her tails for an obscene amount of money. The last thing she wanted to do was be a social media consultant for a medical tech company, but the 30 day signing bonus can keep her from swimming with the fishes. No task is too small as long as she can keep her job, which is why last minute she became her boss' wake-up-call girl. The last thing she expected was to fall for the popcorn abolishing tyrant, but alas fun police may be just the type of man she needs.

Theo never understood the concept of love. Sex was nothing but a transaction between two consenting adults. He's a firm believer in running his company with no meaningless distractions, so that his workers can provide optimum ideas. No pictures of your wife and kids. No birthday cake. No microwave popcorn. The workplace is no place for emotions and fun. He is a man that no one questions, but everyone respects and slightly fears. That is till one morning he gets a wake-up-call from a woman who starts off by yelling, "Wake up mother trucker!" at him. For once there is someone who knows who he is and isn't afraid to challenge his every belief. Before he realizes it he has developed feelings for his wake-up-call girl and will do everything in his power to find her.

Holy toledo there are not enough words for me to describe how much I loved these characters, both together and as individuals. The banter back and forth between Lizzie and Theo stole my heart, and by god they can keep it. I was left cackling left and right with every word that came out of their mouths when they would get to arguing. Their chemistry felt oh so right. All of that sexual tensions build up. Hot diggity dog. By the time they finally came face to face I needed to start fanning myself to calm down. Their physical chemistry was just as explosive as their emotional and I'd like to bask in that explosion every day.

The story line flowed perfectly for me. Each piece of the plot had it's purpose and they blended well together. The suspenseful moments felt realistic and the emotional moments felt honest. There wasn't a time when I felt like a piece of the story was being forced. It was well written and well thought out.

There were plenty of emotional obstacles both parties had to overcome, but watching them do it together was outright beautiful. Everything they did for each other was mesmerizing to watch. Theo needed to learn that emotions and love aren't distractions, but things that allow you to open your mind to all of the possibilities around you. Lizzie was so terrified of having another man control her, but she needed to realize that what made the difference was whether or not the man was worth giving her trust and control too. They were able to ignite each other's flame, but had the care to learn how to tame it as well.

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Cooper needs to only stay with her new job 30 days to earn the sign-on bonus she needs desperately. Then she can leave and never have to look back into the strange world of Vossameer Inc. and its elusive owner Mr. Drummond. Theo Drummond is all scientific and laser-focused yet aloof, he’s all swoony and bossy, sexy and intense but he is also driven by guilt and sadness. Lizzie is told by her manager to find a new wake up service for their CEO, Mr. Drummond, yet she cannot find anyone to take him on so Lizzie wakes up super early and is his wake up call every morning so she doesn’t lose her job. There is a reason for why Lizzie does what she does and she does everything with spirit and sass. She takes some insane risks in order to finally get where she needs to be yet one cannot help but admire her guts and spirit. As the story progresses, you can see how Theo becomes enamored with Lizzie when he didn’t even know what she looked like. He was determined to date her without knowing what she looked like. I totally disliked Lizzie’s ex and wanted him to reap what he sowed. There are many twists and turns to this story that had me totally hooked from the very beginning and had me on the edge of my seat and engrossed with this sexy and compelling read. The banter in this story is witty and seductive. I loved the dirty talk the main characters had with one another yet doesn’t have you wanting to read ahead. It fits the story and fits with the storyline. This is a fresh, exciting story –one with a great plot, entertaining characters and exciting storyline. The chemistry between the main characters is sexy and delicious. I enjoyed the ending and loved the beautiful HEA.

The blurb sounded like fun and sassy. Then I started The Billionaire Wake Up Call Girl, and I was hooked from the first page. Lizzie and Theo, two opposites, employee and boss' relationship. Not the best of starts.

After some mishaps and misunderstandings, she ended being The Wake Up Call Girl for her boss. It was interesting to see how two people who couldn’t get along first, assuming how the other was, could be revealing their true self, just by phone. I adored the heroine sassiness and her strong personality, who could give him a run for his money. And Theo… he was an arse at the beginning but he just needed someone to challenge him and found his match. He was a man of science and control freak, with his planned life and one wake up call girl made him question his vision of things.

I had so much fun reading this romantic comedy with a strong hint of naughtiness and I loved it. This wasn’t not the first book I’ve read by Annika Martin and I adored how she could change the universe so naturally. From dark romance to romantic comedy.

The banter and chemistry were really great. An amazing recipe of hotness with a strong hint of dirty talk, sprinkled with romantic feel, witty and so entertaining. It put me in such a good mood and made me smile so many times I lost count. The innuendos and inside jokes were definitely meant to be taken as a second degree humour style.

I appreciated how the author managed a well thought out plot, well-balanced without getting carried away. Nonetheless, it was a bit more profound that it seemed to be, well-developed and terribly endearing. I couldn’t put it down. Don’t let the title fool you because this story is so much more.

So refreshing, easy-going and fun!

I love opening a romcom with great expectations and STILL being completely blown away by it. The blurb alone is enough to make you laugh - a wake-up-call girl who gets to speak her mind to her arrogant boss completely anonymously? Umm, yes please! ??‍♀️
The story is every bit as great at I expected and it had me laughing out loud continuously. There are so many parts I want to talk about - (“Looks like Mr. Amazing is being amazing elsewhere.”) - but aside from that, I don’t want to ruin the ride for anyone else.
Suffice to say, I’m used to Annika writing witty female characters, but a huge point of difference with this one is that after her initial snarky meeting with Mr. Drummond, Lizzie transforms herself into the character of the ‘Turnip Truck’ and keeps her silence, instead internalizing all of her hilarious thoughts and saving them up for her morning wake-up calls with Theo instead.
Hilarity ensues.
Sure, you’ll want to beat Theo with his own protective eye-wear at first, but that brooding a$$hole will win you over with his smoothly-delivered dirty talk and his burning need to save the world. His tragic back story helps too.
Fun cameos from a certain furry past player and his hoomans, an equally irreverent best friend, plus a nasty witch of a fellow employee round this cast out beautifully.
This is definitely a book I’ll reach for time and again if I need a good laugh or a happy ending ?

Annika Martin has written a rom com full of laughter, angst, suspense and adventure. I have never laughed so hard when reading a book. I laughed to where I was crying. Annika is beyond funny and her prose is full of wit and sass. The lines in the book that she would come up with is unique to her and her talent. I loved the way the book flowed. It was like a river without the choppy water, just nice and smooth. The character’s that she created were beyond extraordinary. From the hero and heroine to the side characters, it was done beautifully. I was able to picture everything described. I felt like I was in the story with them and not trying to figure out what was happening.

I fell in love with Lizzie and Theo. The two of them are like hot and cold but when mixed together they create something explosive. Theo is rough around the edges and hard to crack but once you get to know him and understand him you fall in love. Lizzie is fire, exactly what Theo needs. She has a mouth that gets her in trouble but in clever ways. She gives Theo the push he needs to realize his life may not be all put together like he thinks it is. I loved watching both of these character’s grow as I got deeper into the story. There were times where I felt what they were going through being able to empathize with their emotions. Annika sent me on a roller coaster of emotions with this book, but it was so worth it. This book is what I needed, and I loved that I was able to read her words and immerse myself in her world for a while.

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Cooper, 27, only has to stick out her new job for 30 days to earn the sign-on bonus she desperately needs. Then she can escape the strange world of Vossameer Inc. and its elusive Oz like owner. Theo Drummond is preoccupied with cracking the chemical solution to another life-saving medical invention. That is till he’s preoccupied with his new wake-up caller.

Lizzie has spirit, and she’s determined to be self sufficient. After being screwed over in her last relationship, she’s weary of making the same mistake. That doesn’t stop her though from taking some wild risks that fuel the comedic element in this romcom.

Theo rocks the aloof and surly CEO image in the opening chapters from Lizzie’s POV, but once the story reaches his perspective it’s clear he has integrity and determination. Their opposites attract romance has just the right amount of heart and depth. Oh and there’s their sexual chemistry too!

Told via Lizzie and Theo’s first person POVs, the narrative is witty and entertaining, and the premise as it played out gave me quite a few out-loud chuckles. Lizzie’s descriptions of the company and employees in the opening chapters were colorful and engaging. I did, however, pause at several points and consider contracting the Dragusha brothers to handle Sasha. ;-)

But for the most part the story only left me craving one thing…. I’ll be in the kitchen baking before I start my next book.

You wanna laugh, swoon and throw some sexy time in the mix, well this book has it all. The Billionaires Wake-up girl is a great rom-com. I enjoyed it so much, from the first page i knew i was in love with Theo and Lizzie is a hoot they are completely opposites, yet they are perfect for each other.

Theo is a scientist, focused on his cause, a hard boss that likes perfection and a little bit of a control freak. He needs some one to bring him down a notch. When he needs a wake-up service for like the 100 time, he never imagined Lizzie his new employee to be the rude person calling him every morning. But he loves it. The only thing is that he doesn’t know is her. Lizzie is quirky and very opinionated she is a baker that loves cookies, but a turn of events land her working for Theo and needing the money she is willing to do anything, even being his secret wake-up caller. But she never expected thing to go a different route and getting to know Theo in a totally different level that her hard boss. The chemistry is hot and together they are explosive. But what would happened when Theo discovers that the girl making those calls is his own employee, one that he couldn’t stop think My when he meet. Would all this be a recipe for disaster.

After Annika’s Mafia Romance series that I fell in love with, I was excited to try something that sounded lighter and fun of hers. This book delivered! Let me just say, it was exactly what I was hoping for and so much more.
In The Billionaire’s Wake-Up-Call Girl, we Lizzie and Theo’s story. It’s entertaining, romantic, and even a bit angsty at times. Lizzie is biding her time at Vossamer until she hit’s her 30-day mark and earns her bonus. She has things from her past she is trying to deal with and the money will help with the biggest of them. What she doesn’t expect is to end up calling the CEO of her company and pretending to be a wake-up call service every morning. What starts out as something she thinks is going to destroy her if he finds out, soon becomes something more. Who she thinks Theo is, and who he actually is, are two different things that as she slowly gets to know the man behind the façade, she falls deeper and deeper into him. Their banter throughout the beginning of the book when she is just the wake-up call, is simply hilarious. So well written and put a smile on my face each 4:30am call she made.
I love the lighter and sweet side of Annika’s writing and I can’t wait to read more from her now. I feel I have both extremes with the Mafia and now with this, so I can’t wait to explore more of her work!

The Billionaire's Wake-Up-Call Girl by Annika Martin is the story of Theo and Lizzie.
Lizzie once had a successful bakery and a handsome/hunk boyfriend but that boyfriend ended up wiping out her business and take loans out in her name and the bakery name. So much that loan sharks came calling looking for money. So she between selling off items she still needed more money which lead her to work for the company Theo owned. There was a assume sign up bonus she just had to work there for so many days to get it. We just a few days left in meeting the requirements she ended up meeting Theo who liked to keep his company sterile looking and didn't like a lot of normal things. But he was attracted to her and felt she was a puzzle to unravel which got her in trouble with her nearest boss. That made Lizzie go into survival mode to where she down played her looks and wouldn't make eye contact with Theo. Then Theo needed a wake-up call service because he told off the last one which Lizzie ended up doing the wake-up calls and each morning she would tell him off.
I so enjoyed this book that I did not put it down until I was finished it. I will now be looking for more books by Ms. Martin!
Loved it!

Lizzy thought she was living the dream until her boyfriend leaves he takes her heart, her money, her business and leaves her with his debt. She has a plan to pay off the debt but that mean staying employed at Vossameer Inc. and survive the 30 day probation period so she can collect her bonus. If only the arrogant CEO Theo that everyone else seems to love didn’t rub her the wrong way.

Theo likes things his own way and that includes receiving a personal wake-up call every morning. When the company he was using fires him as a client Lizzy is tasked with finding another company to fulfill the deed. The only problem is that no other company wants him as a client so she becomes his wake-up call but sunshine and roses she is not and and when she tells him how she feels he is intrigued. As the calls continue the moments become about much more than sexy exchanges and he wants to meet Operation Seven but how will the fantasy match up to reality?

The exchanges between Lizzy and Theo were hot and humorous and they have a way of challenging each other which only makes them more perfect together. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Yes, yes… just yes! What an amazingly delightful book! I couldn’t be any happier to have devoured this quick and charming read in a day! I’ll be 100% honest and say writing a review for this is the last thing I really want to try and do. I just want to scream for you all to read this and enjoy the heck right out of it!

So let me ask you a few questions…
Do you enjoy books that make you giggle?
Do you enjoy books that make you laugh harder than you expect for a book?
Do you enjoy books that have some of the best characters? Characters that find a spot in your little book heart and get cozy to stay?
Do you enjoy a bit of sass with your lady leads?
What about swooning of the male character?
Do you enjoy reading about insta-chemistry that they fight off via humor and crassness?

Really… I just can’t recommend this book more! It’s such a delight to read and experience! I’ve read Annika Martin but I have not read THIS Annika Martin. She’s normally dark not laying on the delicious witty banter with some mega-watt sexual chemistry. Stop what you are doing right now... grab this book! You’ll be happy you did!

The Billionaire's Wake-up Call girl had me laughing out loud!
Lizzy works at Vossameer Inc. as new social media manager, her boss Sasha is a stiff brown nose who will go to great lengths to keep the CEO Theo Drummond happy. Lizzy being loud and obnoxious with no filter found it hard to adjust to the stiff environment at Vossameer Inc. Sasha handballs the task of finding Theo a wake- call service over to Lizzy, well in this day and age with digital Alarms clocks and mobile phones Lizzy has trouble finding one. Not wanting to look incompetent at work she has no choice but to wake up at 4am to make the wake up call herself, but In true Lizzy Style ofcourse.

Lizzy gets to tell her CEO Theo just what she thinks of him every morning playing the part as operator number 7.
Lizzy and Theo develop this connection over the phone that has Theo Obsessing over his wake up call girl.
The story from there get interesting, without saying anymore not to give anything away all I can say is it's a must read. Annika's writing is flawless, the characters are great and entertaining and the story flows perfectly .

I had so much fun reading The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl by Annika Martin. It was funny and oh so steamy. I devoured the pages as fast as I could. I loved the concept of this book and how our main characters got to know each other.

I loved Lizzie so much. Se was funny, strong and determined. When life knocked her down, she picked herself right on and moved forward. Theo is said billionaire and the CEO of the company Lizzie now works for. He was all about work and was very controlled at the beginning of the story.

I loved seeing Theo and Lizzie get to know each other during the wake-up calls. She brought out a different side of him. They were opposites but the way they were able to get to know each other was great! I loved their banter so much! And their chemistry was insane!

The Billionaire’s Wake-up-call Girl by Annika was a great read that had me engaged from start to finish. I laughed, I swooned and I fanned myself throughout reading. It was such a great story, with characters I loved. I highly recommend reading this book!

4.5 stars.

Happy reading!

The Billionaires Wake - up - call Girl is my first read by Annika Martin, but it won't be my last.

I absolutely adored Theo. He was growly which made him come off like a jerk, but I didn't really feel that he was a jerk. Just trying to hard to prove himself over some tragedies that happened in his past. But he was also sweet. He had my heart fluttering a few times.

I loved the way Lizzie and her best friend Mia were together. Their banter back and forth had me laughing out loud. While I felt that Theo and Lizzie were perfect together, she also bugged the heck out of me. I can understand not wanting to accept help, and making her dream happen on her own, but I felt she was a little to harsh with Theo. I felt like she needed a good shake a time or two. Possibly three.

Aside from my gumption towards Lizzie those few time I did enjoy the story. I will most definitely be checking out this authors other books.

4 big stars!

Full confession: I was a little confused when I first saw the title of The Billionaire’s Wake-Up-Call Girl, but it did emphasize the fact that punctuation matters!! This was such a cute take on the office Romance and enemies-to-lovers tropes. Theo’s character arc is phenomenal and the way his relationship with Lizzie progresses is so fun and sexy! I really loved the way that Lizzie was determined to accomplish things on her own and overcome the situation thrust upon her by her ex. I also really liked her sassy manner with Theo (which clearly he enjoyed as well). I do wish the big baddie in the office really got her comeuppance, but I utterly enjoyed the story nonetheless. I can't wait to read more romantic comedies from Annika Martin, in fact, I hope that she does a book featuring Lizzie's bestie, Mia! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

What a unique, fun story. I loved it. The Billionaire's Wake-up-call Girl was unlike anything I've ever read. This story captivated my interest from the start and in no time I was hooked. It was hott, hilarious and at times heart-breaking.
Lizzie and Theo were fascinating and I loved them. Lizzie was strong, determined and sassy and Theo was controlling workaholic. These two characters were flawed yet well-developed and so perfectly suited for each other. I loved that half of this story was via telephone and it was how these characters got to know each other.
With steamy scenes, wonderful characters and a HEA ending, this well-written romantic comedy was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it.

Theo Drummand is the CEO of the company Vossameer. Needing to update the companies social media, the company hires Elizabeth Cooper(a former baker) as the new assistant. When the boss’s wake up company refuses to do his wake up calls anymore because of his unique personality, Lizzie decides to take on the task herself. A wake up call for her annoyingly gorgeous jerk of a boss. That’s all it was suppose to be, but what happens when your anonymous rude wake up calls turn into something forbidden and sexy? Can you continue even though it probably won’t end well? When he finds out it’s his assistant making the calls will he be furious or even more intrigued? Told in dual POV; this is a sexy, funny romance

Annika Martin has done it again. Her versatility of switching between dark and romcom is amazing. She's one of my favorite authors and she proved why with this book.

You will laugh, cry, get angry, and so hot that you need a cold shower. I love the way Theo and Lizzy banter back and forth and slowly builds into full blown explosions!

He is determined to find the mysterious wake up caller, but she can't let him know who she really is. Lucky for us Theo is the ever domineering alpha who ALWAYS gets what's wants. And what he wants is that “operator. "

This is another absolute must read from Annika Martin! You'll be glued to your kindle until the end.

I really wish there were half stars because I think this fantastic book deserves 4 1/2 stars! This book is funny, exciting, deliciously hot and heartwarming! And if a HEA is important to you then you will be absolutely delighted with the ending!! I love how Lizzie is funny, witty, and smart, and Theo's thoughts get sexier and sexier when he thinks of his wake-up call girl. It makes him more human. There's even a villain you will absolutely despise. I can't recommend this book enough, so I really hope you do yourself the favor of buying it. You won't be sorry, I promise you!! Enjoy!!

Awww so swoony! The Billionaire's Wake-up-call Girl is swoony. And sweet. And sexy. And just plain fabulous. From the way that Lizzie literally woke Theo up with her snarky, profanity-laden calls to the way she woke up other things like his heart (and ahem, parts further south). Oh God, I just loved these two together.

The Billionaire's Wake-up-call Girl is the very best kind of romance - sweet, sexy, snarky, and witty, with delicious sexual tension and two amazing characters who fit each other perfectly. I am so ready for more of Annika Martin's take on love.

While this book didn't have a millionaire pooch, Lizzie and Theo had more than enough deliciously hot phone conversations to make up for it. I loved their chemistry and I appreciated that the author didn't make this into an over-simplified matter of Theo trying to figure out that Operator Seven is actually Lizzie. In short, there's more going on here than you'd think and all the better for readers like me who look for more in our romance novels. This series is quickly becoming one of my very favorite finds this year! The Billionaire's Wake-Up-Call Girl gets five stars. ♥

It was pretty funny, some things were a bit unrealistic though. Mainly with the villain of the story. She seemed way too over powered. And the hero was too good to be true in my opinion. It was a hilarious read though and I enjoy Martin's writing style!

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

I loved this book! Lizzie is smart, sassy and funny. Theo is definitely not used to that kind of gal. So things get steamy over the phone. Then Theo WANTS Operator 7/Lizzie, but can’t find her! For all his billions! I couldn’t stop chuckling. Theo finally finds Lizzy, and they become F.buddies, even though Theo wants more. But Lizzy has been badly hurt and has sworn off relationships..., but all ends well with a really nice HEA. Highly recommend!

Great read! There’s ups and downs, the snarky villain, funny best friend, hot smart guy, independent quirky woman and commitment issues. It’s a fun story that has a HEA with all the feels in it. Her characters suck you in to their world and make you want to know all about them. A must read! You won’t be disappointed
