Review:I liked all of the main characters. The story is creepy and creative. I did not like the gore and do not understand why it is called a psychological thriller. It would probably make a good horror movie. I would read this author again but this one did not do it for me. Read more
Review:I’d received a copy of this book via Netgalley and promptly forgot about it due to school and other obligations. I started, and finished, it today. This is an amazing story with so many twists and turns. Faith is a fantastic character and the story is told at just the right pace. I recommend this book 110%, you will not be disappointed! Review:Ray Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles deserves its accolades. Like all science fiction, Bradbury uses the issues of his time, late 40s and early 50s America, and creates a future that reflects the extension of those concerns, only vastly expanded.
Bradbury's main concern is nuclear war between the United State and the Soviet Union. But he tackles many more topics. With the human settlement of Mars, there are shades of the colonial interactions of Europeans with indigenous peoples. All of ... Read more
Review:The universe you created here is epic. This would make even better movies than Starwars (especially the new ones). Wonderful worlds, battles and aliens. One of the best series I have come across in years Read more
Review:Really enjoyed this book. The story is original and not overly borrowed. For some reason it reminded me of the Sci-Fi mini series "The Lost Room".
Just bought The Broken Lands and look forward to starting it soon. Read more
Review:After enjoying Brett Battles' "Becoming Quinn" last year, the author had a bit of a "halo effect" going into my reading this book featuring a new hero.
While a number of people have commented on the unbelievable attributes of Logan Harper, I saw no real difference between suspending belief in a novel and when I go to an action movie.
Admittedly the plot was a little opaque at times, occasionally dragged and stretched credulity regarding the personal commitment many of these charact... Read more
Review:When All The Girls Have Gone is an exciting, perfectly paced, romantic suspense novel. I loved every page of this brilliantly crafted book and found it impossible to put down.

I adore Baxter, he’s my new favourite Badd brother!
I’m a huge fan of this author and I love the Badd brother’s series so I was really excited about this book after reading a sample of it at the end of Badd to the bone. Every time I read about a new Badd brother he becomes my favourite and that also happened with Baxter, he’s my hero!
Baxter is a fighter and he’s got the body to match, he’s a lean, but not me... Read more
Review:I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review of this book.
I loved this story. Marissa is newly engaged to Nathan, a single dad. She has a seemingly picture perfect life, except for the strained relationship between her and her long lost friend, Lauren. After a dinner party, Lauren is found dead at the bottom of a cliff. Was it an accident or was it intentional? A handful of people were at the party and the list of what if's gets longer by the minute. As the events of this story unfolde... Read more
Review:I found this an interesting book with well developed characters and an interesting plot. While I enjoyed the book, the pace was a bit slow, and it fit a bit too clearly into a "genre" to rank with a Tanya French or Laura Lippman. Read more
