Enjoyed this book, liked the balance between RL and in game. Two stories running together. Liked the story, the fight sequences and found the back and forth chit chat reasonably believable. Of course the hero had plenty of luck, just happened to pick a room near a top player, but it is a story and it is fantasy right?
So it's all good. Want to read more....hurry up!! Lol...

Overalll good translation, I noted a few errors (word order). The story is really good though with a nice flow and I am definitely looking forward to the next. My biggest gripe is that the publisher puts a notice within the first chapter. Very annoying from a great publisher.

A decent start. The protagonist hits a little hard for the premise, and the vampire stuff seems a little random, but I suppose that's unavoidable to an extent. I like that his sister is the real gamer nerd in the family
The Secret of the Dark Forest (The Way of the Shaman Book #3) :: The Karmadont Chess Set (The Way of the Shaman - Book #5) :: Survival Quest (The Way of the Shaman Book #1) :: Ethan Cocker (Cocker Brothers - The Cocky Series Book 9) :: The Kartoss Gambit (The Way of the Shaman Book #2)

Outstanding story. Well written, solid editing. Enjoyed so much I wasn't able to put it down -- spent until 5 a.m. finishing it. :)

Anxiously awaiting the the sequel!

(And yes, there was a publisher's ad near the beginning of the book. Took me maybe ... 5 seconds ... to skip past it. No big deal.)

I really liked the book. However the love interests both virtual and real life felt forced. I'd vote to delete the real life romance interest and clean up the vr one. But this book is a fun take playing a humanoid (in this case goblin) race and I really enjoyed it.

Very good book with excellent translation work. Usually with these type of books it's pretty easy to tell when it's a book that had been translated but this time it was really well done. The only thing that really gave it away was some of the awkward uses of the phase"the girl" which is common in Slavic translated books.

I am horrible at writing reveiws. I loved this book. It kept my interest throughout the entire book and my only complaint is that i thought it ended too soon. But i think that about 90% of the series i read.

Well written, good plot. The characters a bit shallow, and I'm not certain I always like the main character or think his morals are good. We'll see how it develops, since I don't really like main characters I don't like.

Kindle Unlimited series - NOT!!!

Really hate it when ONLY the first book of a series is Kindle Unlimited, especially when it's a new series and you can't check. At least if the first book is 'buy for free', it's a pretty decent hint. Oh well... Another author to add to my personal banned authors list. Sigh...

Eastern european writers have some annoying tendencies and tropes in their writing. While this story was an OK read with action and an interesting MC choice, it still fell into my least favorite story-device of "MC makes the worst possible choices that his weak character cannot achieve victory and through impossible cheats still wins." Throw in some mild violence to women who then wises up and sleeps with him and we complete the Eastern Europe male wish fulfilment. Worth an the store Unlimited read, but save you money otherwise.

I must admit I was disappointed. Everything was handed to the mc with any skill, intelligence, or work on his part. There wasn't plot twists, nor did I connect with the characters. Still a lit rpg so might be worth reading if you need a fix and don't have high expectations.

I generally don't mind book adverts before or after the book text. However finding a very blatant one in first chapter is a deal-breaker for me - requested refund immediately. If you tolerate this, we may soon find a new trend forming - why not insert a big advert in every chapter? The only saving grace is they refrained from using Comic Sans font.
Otherwise quality of author's work is excellent.

Typical litRPG. Guy is a game tester, is really broke with no money, and is trying to support his handicapped sister. Also, the testers were screwed in what class and race they were allowed. It made sense though when you looked at it from the company's point of view. It's a good book. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it takes you through the story in a good fashion that makes the book worth the read. I'm waiting for book 2.

(Borrowed through Kindle Unlimited) ARGH! Warning: this is the only book in the series (currently) that's in the Kindle Unlimited program. The problem is that I loved the book so much, I'll probably end up paying money for the 2nd and 3rd. First hit is free, right? :)

The author does a great job incorporating multiple aspects of the game and real life into the plot. Everything flows smoothly and in a logical sequence. There were only a few, very minor typos/spelling errors; no impact on readability. There are no massive over-powered skills or players which I always appreciate. Crafting does not take up a huge aspect of the game so far, but skills certainly do. Overall, there’s a great sense of teamwork and value of individuals which is inherent to this genre and one of the great aspects of these types of games.

A good litrpg story. I was disappointed that the main characters race and profession turned out to be misleading, because a story focusing on those two things would have been very interesting. But overall, pretty good.
