I generally don't read many romance type of books, but this series was definitely worth it! You stayed interested, had a few twists I didn't see coming, and I am looking forward to the next novel in the series.

Ms. Dixon's style of writing keeps you coming back for more. I've read all of the books in this series and they are great quick reads. I do wish they were a little bit longer. I can't wait to read the next one

Thank You Ruby Dixon!! The characters feel so real and have depth and I care what happens to them. I love this alien race that Ruby has created I want my own Hot sexy sa-khui alien. The love story builds and the heat in the mating scenes with Kira and Aehako is off the charts hot. What a great series so much better than anything I have read in a long time. I read around 600 pgs of romance a month. So hunting for good authors and having to go through the poorly written books until finding a good writer can be painful. If you love big strong alpha aliens and a book you can totally immerse in (it's that good) then you will love Barbarian Lover.

NOPE.....
I hate stories that constantly have the female MC be the virgin while the male MC is experienced and loved it, who constantly has inner monologues and comparisons about it. This story did that. Even if the female in this particular story would not have been a virgin, she would have had either bad experience or lack-luster experience. This is serious pet -peeve of mine. Ruined the story for me.

I loved the first book, loved the second one, but this one didn't 'resonate' (☺!) with me. I think the aliens are too eloquent and it takes away from what made them interesting in the first place. Hopefully Harlow's story will be better.
