The Wedding Rescue (The Alpha Billionaire Club Book 1)

I read this with my kindle unlimited. Leigha's family reminded me of Cinderella with the two horrible sisters. Leigha's mother wasn't like Cinderella's stepmother, thank goodness.

I enjoyed this story it was a quick and easy read. What stopped it from being a great story was the lack of character development. I am still not sure if Leigha shared the same father with Christie and Cathy (?) her two sisters. I don't know anything about Dylan Kane's family and his upbringing. How did he get to be a billionaire? It would have made the story and the character's much better if the author had taken the time to build their stories. The amount of time spent on the sex scenes shows the author knows how to do this. When Leigha and Dylan had the conversation that was a huge turning point in their relationship, as the reader I only know that there was a conversation and that they both considered it important. It was glossed over to the point that I don't understand why this was the tipping point. As the reader I need to be shown not told, so that I buy into the relationship also. As it is written I was not that invested in the characters or the relationship.

I do recommend this to anyone looking for a light, sexy read and I did enjoy the book.

Interested in the story up to the point where the H spanks the h while she’s nursing stitches in one arm - which she got protecting him. This was punishment for not trusting him. W T F? Book had promise until that point. Could not finish. Will try to read another one from her. Her voice has promise as long as she understands that a 36DD (mentioned in book) is not considered a BBW and to give her heroines a sterner spine and ratchet down the instalove between the H and h. Lots of “you’re mine, say it!” and ultra control issues with the H. Maybe I was reading light bdsm novel and didn’t know it?

This was my first venture into Alexa Wilder's novels; two weeks later and I have read them all! She writes about gutsy girls and hot alpha males who fight for the better good while steaming up the pages.
In The Wedding Rescue, Leigha is forced to attend the wedding of her thankless, skinny, bit*h of a sister's wedding dateless. While drowning her sorrows of late at Delecta's bar, she meets Dylan, who makes her a deal she can't refuse. By the end of the weekend, Leigha will have been hit on, spied on, kidnapped, tortured, blackmailed, sexed up, and fired up!
This series is addicting; you will not want to put it down! And, her other books are just as good...

Well developed characters and the storyline is quite good. I thought the intrigue/drama part was a bit rushed, and their concerns about having a real relationship somewhat glossed over. I love how they are as a couple and how they both grow individually throughout the story. I read this in one setting and look forward to reading about his friends.

I enjoyed this book. The situation the female is in, not having a date for her sisters wedding, is solved by a billionaire who helps her for his personal satisfaction. The sisters of the female are both self centered and disrespectful, I just wanted to strangle them both! Mother I will reserve my opinion! The billionaire was just wanting sex but ends up protecting her and both develop feelings for each other. The one thing I have found in stories about billionaires is that they all think they are to entitled to get what they want, funny how they end up getting what they didn't expect! Overall this series is a good read. Contains sexual situations so please be of legal age before purchasing this book.

I loved this book will definitely read others by this author.... Dylan and Leigha complemented each other so well.... Even though Leigha had issues with her weight and being bullied by her sisters it didn't stop her from experiencing this amazing journey with Dylan. I absolutely loved them together kinda sad their story ends here....

I hope and pray I find my Dylan soon.... Totally love him and how he loved her so unconditionally....

Ok I only had one issue with this book and that's the wrong word was used for cum she used come.... Definitely a must read....

Honestly, Ms. Wilder has an adorable way with her "heroes" ! Just the right and equal amounts of "demanding" and "Prince Charming" ! I don't get all nutty one way or another over ANY book/series/author. I take them as they come, and that's all there is to it.

That being said, I do know what type of books I gravitate to, and ones I don't.

I know I will be reading more of Ms. Wilder's books !

Note to author: fire your editor. Trust me, there is a difference between affect and effect, compliment and complement, and lay and lie, to name just a few of the glaring abuses of the English language. The story looked interesting, but I couldn't make it past the first few chapters.

Alexa Wilder never disappoints me!! This is the complete set (which is the way I love to read her series) of THE Wedding Rescue. Leigha is a curvy account with a heart of gold and has a couple of witches for sisters. She has the misfortune of falling for the wrong man who empties out her savings account of 10K and disappears. She happens to be in a bar drinking and meets the owner of the Casino (but she had no idea that was who he was).

Long and short of it. She needs a date for the wedding events and wedding and she has struck his fancy and he wants her for the weekend. They agree and things heat up quickly.

This book has the heat and is a great read as all of Alexa Wilder's books.

I really enjoyed this take on the billionaire romance novel. While the hero is definitely alpha, and of course incredibly wealthy and good looking, he's not only attracted to the heroine immediately, he genuinely likes her. And while the heroine is sweet, she's also smart; a little naive, but not foolishly so. This book is just the right blend of sweet and sexy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Dylan and Leigha! It is the first book I have read by Ms. Wilder but will definitely not be my last! The differences in Dylan and Leigha...and the love that brought them together makes this easily a 5-star read. Hits all my 5 boxes and makes me so glad I gave Ms. Wilder a chance. I completely recommend this book!!

I liked this book it was very heartwarming and full of roller-coaster rides. Her sisters are horrible people and don't deserve her. I'd love to read more about these two and Axel definitely needs a story!

Discovered this book by accident and glad I did. Leigha is a sweet and funny girl with a beautiful spirit. Dylan is a rich devilish guy that falls hard. The writing was great. The storyline was fast paced and easy to follow. You enjoy watching the romance unfold and smile at the happy ending.

I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends!! I can't rave enough about how easily the story flows and the steamy the love scenes are. Leigha and Dylan are an amazing combo with believable chemistry that would make one jealous to be around!! I want that chemistry lol

Come on its a modern day fairy tale - girl struggling with crappie ex, harpy sisters, slimy boss picked up by handsome billionaire willing to kick all her problems to the curb. But best of all it's characters you will pull for.

Wow, sexy Prince Charming sweeps her off her feet and into his bed. He is so alpha demanding control & pushing her when needed. Modern day Cinderella and loved how her handles her family and comes to her rescue.... Enjoy!

5 Steamy Stars

I so loved loved this book. The journey between Dylan and Leigh was spontaneous, graceful of sorts and in total harmony. The sex between this couple was like a rocket blasting off into space the slow but subtle beginning with the momentum of the blast off.

To the author for this read I would let your readers that a total blast off is when you sit in your comfy chair prepared to just read a book that will have you not just reading this book but becoming one in the pages as the proverbial fly on the wall.

Alexa Wilder is a wonderful writer. I couldn't put my Kindle down once I started reading this book. Very romantic and exciting. Loved the story line about Leigha and Dylan. Sorry it couldn't continue. Great Read.

Leigha Carmichael has been having the worst luck...that is until she meets Mr. Dylan Kane.

The Wedding Rescue is an endearing series about a woman dealing with a lot of lows who is rescued by a billionaire mogul. Of course, there are twists and turns to the story. But it's awesome to see how this "lust" at first sight story pans out.

You'll get through the series before you realize it. I advise you to set alarms if you have somewhere to be, it's just that easy to become transfixed. Happy Reading!

I really enjoyed this series of books. I like the boxed sets because that way you have the whole story from start to finish. I could of done without him spanking her and it would of still been a good read.
