J.D. Robb IN DEATH COLLECTION books 21-25

This series is my favorite out there. It contains the same characters in every volume but still manages to stay very fresh and interesting. The crimes in each are creepy, strange and anything but predictable, and the relationships between the characters are developing on pace. I hope Nora Roberts, er J.D. Robb, continues this series indefinitely. The books certainly entertain me and are the entertainment highlights of every spring and fall!

I love this author. The problem with the product is in the CD's. I and returning the first on of this set and they sent me a new set. The 3rd and 4th CD's in both of them are bad. You can see by looking at them that they are bad but I tried them anyway. I couldn't put them on my computer to listen to them while working. I went thru this with another set I ordered. They take them back and replace them but the new product isn't any better. I had planned to buy the rest of the sets but now I'm tired of the hassle.

I am re-reading the series! It's excellent and I started it back when it was first published. Excellent, rich, complex characters. Romance. And great murder mysteries that are futuristic police proceedurals. Start from book 1. Yay JD Robb!

it is not as if Nora Roberts need anymore accolades....but YES....I really enjoyed reading this series and she is one of the best. The main characters, Eve and Roarke really draws you into their lives and keeps you interested.

I enjoy the characters and their relationships with one another. There are twists to the plots but nothing that comes out of nowhere. Nora spins exciting, tastefully erotic, and thought provoking tales.

I got this from my library through the store. Ive already read the first three in the collection but there is no way to get to book 4 without paging through the first 3 books...REALLY?
Why isn't there a way to get to which book you want to read???

The grouping rate is higher than buyimg them individually. My fear is that the prices are going to raise individually soon, which makes it very hard to continue re-buying the series for my Kindle viewing. It sure would be nice to get a real deal, once in a while. I keep picturing some greedy, fat cat, with a smarmy mustache, rubbing his hands together and cackling that we readers are too stupid to get it.

I found these books to be suspenseful and hard to put down. I love the characters in the books. I have especially enjoyed following the developing relationship between Dallas and Roarke from the first books. I also enjoy the relationships with Dallas and her friends and her partner Peabody. They are not "great literature", but they don't pretend to be. The books are entertaining and fun.

Well, all things considered (and after reading all of the above reviews) Yep it is expensive to buy the package, but after taxes, etc. it works out to almost the same thing (if not a bit cheaper) than buying them one at a time. Plus I have the added joy of not having to try to figure out which is next in publication order and (as fast as I read) hitting the store every day for a new read. I really enjoy the In Death series and this is a cool way of keeping them in order.

The books themselves are excellent, however, the quality of the first two books electronically is abysmal, dropping words and partial paragraphs. Not worth the kindle cost as a group on quality issues. Check into individual books for these five.

Getting five Robb stories in one book is a bonus extraordinaire. Love the future setting, the variety of crimes, the characters, etc. If you like quick reads that fit like a puzzle, J D Robb is your author.
