The Hot Zone (Rainshadow)

I love the way Jayne Ann Frantz nee Castle weaves all her heroes and heroines from previous books into her latest book. The characters in her books become friends and family, so wonderful to catch up on their ongoing story.

Jayne Ann Krentz writes beautifully whether she is Amanda Quick or Jayne Castle and of course Jayne Castle. If you aren't familiar with her read her for an entertaining read--all genres.

I have read all of Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick/Jayne Ann Krentz's books. Some I have enjoyed more then others. This book made me feel like it was being written for TV. So many things were left out. So many things I wanted to know were skipped over. I was really disappointed in this installment of the series. I expect more from these books and lately it seems they are offering less.

I loved the story. Couldn't stop reading it. It continues on from the previous 3 novels but you can read it as a stand alone if you haven't read the others. It combines a futuristic science fiction storyline with psychic abilities. Great story. Jayne Ann Krentz is a fantastic storyteller and I can't wait to read more of her stories.

Another fabulous read from JAK! And another cute dust bunny. The Hot Zone is most satisfying and shows just why everyone reads these books. Great characters, lots of atmosphere, dust bunnies, what's not to love?

The Hot Zone, was just that, HOT!!!! Loved this book and I don't think I will ever get enough of those darling little critters, The Dust Bunnies. I just wish all her Harmony Books could be turned into Movies, and wouldn't it be fun to see these cute little cuddlies
on the big screen.

In fact I wouldn't mind seeing all of JAK's books on the big screen (or little one).

I really like the harmony series, who doesn't want a dust bunny companion. This story felt a little short and unfinished I'm not disappointed in the plot just wish it could have been fleshed out a little more.

I love these books set on another world and populated by people with psychic abilities.
If you start to read this book it is very hard to put down so find a comfortable spot to
get started! I eagerly await this author's next story set on this fascinating world.

Different type of alpha hero in Cyrus Jones... Not your typical take charge Guild Boss. He doesn't mind letting Sedona ( love the play on Arizona) Snow have the spot light. I also love how they tied the story arcs from Amanda Quick to JAK to Jayne Castle!

Whenever I finish reading a new Jayne Castle book, I am always sad that the next one isn't already written and released. I love the world, the characters, the challenges and mystery of her books, as well as the spicy romance between paranormal characters. Her writing just gets more fun with each book she writes. Write on, Jayne!
