This is my favorite book of the series!!! Micki is the tomboy of all the sisters but she is tired of being the buddy to all the guys. Damien is the smokin hot baseball player that Micki wants for her own. Micki throws Damien for a loop by changing from a tomboy to a knockout-and boy of it fun to see his reaction. The sparks between these two leap off the pages. I loved how Micki didn't let Damien get away with much and watching him fall was extremely satisfying. I never tire of rereading this one. Enjoy!!!

Micki Jordan is one of the guys she knows everything sports and has no interest in makeup and other girly stuff. That is until she is assigned to Damian Fuller. She wants to attract him but her insecurities will get in her way.
Her sisters step up and make her over, but will that be enough to win his heart.
Micki and Damien make a great couple if they could keep it together.
Another great book added to my list.

** I received this book in exchange for an honest review**

I am loving this series so much! Tomboy Micki decides to dress more like a girl because she is tired of being one of the guys. She also wants to impress hot baseball player Damian. Damian sees the end of his baseball career coming and struggles with that and his growing attraction to Micki.

Great romance and I love the secondary stories just as much. Any and all fans of contemporary romance will love this book and this series!

Many thanks to the author for a review copy of the book.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Micki and Damian make the pages of “Hot Number” burn! Would purchase any novel by Carly Phillips before even reading the review. Her principal characters always have poignant stories to tell, they have depth, inner turmoil and in this case Micki and Damian definitely burn the pages when they come together. Love the “Happily Ever After”. It’s a sad to end the story … but I’m happy there’s another! I VOLUNTARILY REVIEWED AN ADVANCE READER COPY OF THIS BOOK.

Micki and Damian have got to be my favorite couple from the Hot Zone series. The writing is superb, and continued seamlessly from the first book. All of the side stories add to the richness of the story. I truly enjoyed reading Hot Number, and read it in one sitting. The story just draws you in (don't start it on your lunch hour or before bed :) ) I love that Micki remained true to her unique ways, but amped up the packaging a little to draw in Damian. Love, love, love.

Just finished HOT NUMBER....it lives up to the title... Carly always draws me in and now I'm in love again. Who wouldn't love Damian...well Micki always has but doesn't think she measures up to his choices in his women... Lola and Yank make me smile and my heart ache at the same time...love Noodle... Roper is a great guy...will he get a story? I've got to run HOT ITEM is on my Kindle and I can't wait to start reading.... Sophie's story...

There were times Micki just didn't understand Damian, "Micki blinked. “Oh, this is great. You’re apologizing to my uncle for kissing his twenty-six-year-old niece!” Damian is a great guy both he and Micki can call each other out on their crap, “and I didn’t come here to talk about the dog or to let you use her as a buffer or an excuse to avoid a serious conversation.” I enjoyed this book, I loved seeing these characters again.

Loved Micki and Damion .. Tired of being one of the guys Micki is ready to be noticed as a woman... Damion is trying to keep his focus on his career and keeping it alive... The chemistry between these two is magnetic and they both realize that what has always seemed to be so important may not be anymore and lige has a different plan for them... These characters are addictive you can't help but get sucked into their lives...

Micki has always been one of the boys, but lately that has really started to bother her. After a drunken kiss, all micki wants is for Damian Fuller to notice her. With the advice of her best friend and sister she steps out of her comfort zone and lands strait into the tabloids. Damien finally seems to notice her when a scandal breaks lose. Can Damien and Micki find their HEA when everything's stacked against them?

Micki and Damian have amazing chemistry. Micki was fun transforming into a more feminine side vs her lifelong tomboy in attempts of attracting Damian, who already had his eye on her. Which only made him that much more lovable. Let's add some uncle Yank and Lola craziness and updates on Annie and Brandon and we have another great read. This is the second time I've read this one and it's still just as good.

This series gets better as it progresses! Love the story of Micki and Damian. Much more character development and the story sucks you in. Micki is tired of being seen as one of the guys and her transformation (and an incident) finally make Damian "step up to the plate" and realize there is life outside of baseball. Really good story and I look forward to reading the other 2 books in the series.

Review for HOT NUMBER
It appears dear old uncle is playing matchmaker again. This time for his niece Micki and her crush Damian Fuller. Micki is fed up being “one of the guys” so her bestie tells her to start dressing like the hottie she is and not one of the guys. Well it works, but is it going to last, especially when Damian’s past comes back and slaps him right in the face.

This is Micki Jordan's story, the youngest of the sisters and the tomboy trying to be a seamstress and the second book in the Hot Zone series.

Another brilliant story with insecurities, jealousy, and romance with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure, what more could you want.

Of the Hot Zone series I most identified with Micki as a character. I completely understood how she felt when she said she was always treated as "one of the guys." My favorite parts of the book had to be when her and Fuller were on the island together. It was nice to see that the perfect person for you could help you see the person who were meant to be inside of you. I would highly recommend this book!!

This was a reread of the newly released book independently published by the author. Congrats by the way! It really is like visiting relatives you haven't seen in awhile. The series follows sisters who were taken in by their bachelor uncle when their parents did. Book two is the story of the youngest girl, Micki, the tomboy of the bunch. She doesn't think she can attract the start ballplayer Damian Fuller, but chemistry airways wins out. This is a fun romp through overcoming a series of issues and we FINALLY get resolution on Yank and Lola. Definitely a sexy series to keep you entertained.

This is the second book in this series. You don’t have to read book 1 first, but it is helpful in understanding the characters. I loved the book and love the series. Youngest niece of Yank Morgan, Micki Jordan has always been the tomboy and not into girlie things. She wants to be more feminine and not just thought of as one of the guys. She has grown up in the locker room of the various sports figures since following in her uncles footsteps. One New Year’s Eve a drunk Damian Fuller, captain of the Renegades baseball team, kissed her and she hasn’t forgot the kiss. She shies away from him, but would love for him to notice her. She asks her middle sister, Sophie ti help her chance her appearance. Damian has always felt that he couldn’t let love in while he was concentrating on baseball as he had to put all his efforts into the team. Damien is very attracted to Micki, but doesn’t want to be. Uncle Yank wants them together and has a few tricks up his sleeve. You will need to read the book to see what happens.

I loved Micki and how she got along with everyone and was great at her job. I felt bad that she didn’t have enough self confidence in being a woman. Damien was a guy who had messed around with women in his youth, but it was getting old. He had some injuries and knew his days of playing baseball would soon be over, but he can’t imagine not playing ball. There is a new kid coming up the ranks that has it in for Damien. He does cause a lot of trouble. This was a great sports book with a good story line. I can’t wait to read the next book. I strongly encourage you to read this book. I truly enjoyed reading Hot Number, the second book in Carly Phillips’ Hot Zone series, once again. I loved how Micki Jordan, the youngest of the sisters and a tomboy, stood up to Damian Fuller despite her insecurities and the fact that she really cared for the man. Micki has always felt like she was one of the guys, not noticed by the womanizing baseball player, until a New Year’s Eve kiss which sparks feelings for these two. As these two spend time together with Micki helping Damian out with some bad publicity, Damian realizes that Micki really is a “Hot Number”, and those real feelings he has for her and that’s not his usual M.O.

This book is not the sexy story as are Phillips’ more recent books, but still has those loveable characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for their happy ending. The characters were well written and authentic. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

The second in a series of four book centering around the ladies at the Hot Zone Pr firm, this one is about Micki, the youngest of three siblings. She is seen as a tomboy and just one of the guys by the men she represents and now Micki wants to act more "girly" to try to catch the eye of Damian Fuller. Micki and Damian shared a kiss she didn't forget about six months ago but she thinks Damian didn't act on it because she is one of the guys. Micki's new look and determination cause a PR nightmare of her own and throw her and Damian together in paradise. They give in to their desires under the understanding it is just while they are at the private Retreat but soon they come to find out it's more than that. It is not an easy road for the couple at all dealing with a jealous rookie, insecurities and a scare with ex to keep things interesting. I loved the book and read it in one sitting . I identified with Micki and her insecurities and that find out what happens w Lola and Uncle Yank really drew me in! Excellent read!

I absolutely loved the second book in the Hot Zone series!! This book features the story of Nicki and Damien. Nicki is the youngest of the sisters and is considered a tomboy. She has a slight crush on Damien and gets tired of being passed up, so she with Sophie's help revamps her image. What Nicki doesn't realize is that Damien has noticed her all along. There were some bumps along the road for the two but they weathered the storm together. The chemistry between the two was hot!! What I enjoyed is that Yank finally woke up and realized that Lola was the one for him and did he have to work for it lol!!

I highly recommend this book...it was my favorite in the series. I can't wait for Sophie's book next. Another 5 star read from the talented Carly Phillips.

I am having such fun reading this series and Micki and Damian sizzle together. Micki is the youngest of the sisters who were taken in by Uncle Yank and she is the tomboy who has always been thought of as "one of the guys" but now wants to be known for her feminine ways. Damian is a ball player who is a womanizer who is reaching the end of his career and but doesn't want to face the end. Micki and Damian share a kiss on New Year's Eve that changes everything and really makes things interesting. Sizzling chemistry, scheming matchmaking uncle, and crazy fun abounds in this book to keep the pages turning. I highly recommend this one!

Great continuation of the Jordan sisters. When Damien gets hurt playing ball and Mickey his publicist gets herself in a jam when another player tries to get her drunk he comes to her rescue and they go to his private island to lay low. Things start to heat up between them.til they need to leave and he finds out he might be the father of someone elses baby and sh needs to take care of the fallout again. Many things happen in this story with all the characters bu you just fall.in love with these two. I volunteered to read this for an advanced reader copy.
