Through the whole book I kept thinking this is never going to work. I saw some of the things coming but some of it had my jumping in my seat. When I got to the end I was on the edge of my seat. What an amazing, creative story! Fantastic characters and storyline!! I cannot wait to read the next one!

Excellent read, terrible ending. As a reader, I was disappointed with the method of your ending of their story. Don't force readers to buy the second book, your stories should entice the reader, to continue the storyline. Your story line and characters deserve better, as I was certainly captivated by them.

This was a refreshing take on Elves. Although Ryann's internal dialogue was often excruciatingly drawn out and oftentimes annoying, I still enjoyed her POV. The character interplay made this an entertaining read.

This was a Facebook suggestion, free at the time. I was mildly intrigued by the premise and decided to read it until I fell asleep....I couldn't put it down! Stayed up all night to finish it and can't wait to read the next book. The story is YA but so captivating and well written that I'm hooked. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I love this author's writing style: warm, funny, very descriptive. I knew I would want to continue this series, so I ordered Book 2 at about the halfway mark; however I had no idea how awesome the ending would be and how she would leave me hanging!

I was skeptical about reading this book. But I was also intrigued by the story line. I normally don't like young adult books mostly because I am a mature woman and I like books on that subject more. But I will say I very much liked it and I will be reading book 2 here in the near future.

I absolutely loved this book! I have always been into reading Paranormal and this just happens to be a new favorite of mine! Got this one when it was free on the store but also read Hidden Heart, Book 2 which I also loved! Wished I lived in the country so I could take a walk in the woods(love the smell)! Happy Reading! Off to buy book 3!

This was an excellent start to the series. Of course I liked the mysterious bad boy, so Nox is my favorite character so far. The end left me no choice but to get the next book. Wonderfully entertaining so far. Great Read!

What an amazing and love filled story! Ryann and Lad, young teenagers, meet for a second time 10 years apart. Excitement, fun and friendship blossom. His is a secret world and hers is a normal everyday life in Tennessee! The story flows wonderfully with both good times and sad. Definitely a great read!

This book had me all over the place emotionally. I was happy, mad, sad and disturbed. Young love stories make me so happy and the stories of them bring me back to my own youth. I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy.

I bought this book after seeing an ad on Facebook, and I couldn't resist getting it, I was intrigued. Once I started reading I fell into the world and didn't want to climb back out! Hidden Deep is a very well written novel that kept me entranced until the very end. I can't wait to get my hands on book two!

I love this story! Ryann and Lad are believable characters and the storyline keeps you interested from the beginning. If you love the paranormal world than you'll enjoy the amazing one Amy Patrick created in this refreshing story about elves.

Okay let me start by saying....AMAZING! Love this book ,Love this writer, Love that there is a great story not just sex scenes and Magic! I am 44 and I enjoyed it very much. it is nice sometimes to just leave your world behind and fall into this one! Yes there is some drama but hey it is geared for teens so it is something to grin and bear through it , the story is really worth it. I am on book five now and pre - ordering book 6.

For a free book I was absolutely spellbound. Right from the first page it caught my attention and held throughout the entire story. A little amateurish sounding in some parts, but in others you knew that time and thought went into the planning and executing of the story.

This book was very interesting and captivating. It had enough twists and turns in it that kept me captivated until the very last page. The only negative comment I have about it was the length. I got through this book in less than two hours. However, I am excited to see what the sequal brings!

A fun young adult fantasy book. The first in the series. It did take time to get into the book but once I did it read fast and entertaining. There were a lot of elements that made the book new and some that made it feel comforting due to familiarity. It has an ending that makes you wonder what's next.

This is an amazing series and although I thought I knew what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised as the story unfolded. While I'm a particular cheerleader for the underdog, I did enjoy the story overall. It isn't often I read a fantasy novel set in the real world. Truly, an amazing find!

I thoroughly enjoyed this YA fantasy series. It's an easy to read, gripping page turner that hooked me from the first book. Each book actually gets better and better as the world of elves is more and more detailed and explored. I read the three books in under two weeks! I could actually see this being turned in a popular TV series as it has all the ingredients - a strong female lead, a love triangle, magical beings and dangerous villains and three distinct backdrops for each book. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this book! I wasn't expecting it to be this good! The plot is very interesting. The characters are wonderful. And It has very little errors. Also, the whole thing makes sense. No stopping to figure out what you just read. It flows seamlessly. Give it a try! I know you'll love it!

I was hooked immediately. Lots of characters to love and despise. The world unfolds more and more. The prince was a little naive for me but he was sheltered. Sadly you only trust yourself with some many keeping secrets, secrets that change your life.

Ms Patrick invites you to a lively world of southern hospitality and hidden neighbors. Her world is very like our world with one surprising exception handled so adroitly, you're left wondering if it isn't our own after all. Fully fleshed characters and a very human story to tell will definitely keep you turning pages.

I really enjoyed this fantasy; it was enjoyable because there was no violence, a little romance and sweet, but not syrupy. I'd recommend the three books in the trilogy. There was nothing 'heavy' or frightening about the books. Just entertainment.

Had I known this was fantasy, I would have chosen not to read this book. Once I knew it was a book about elves and an underground world, I wasn't going to continue, but I liked the characters by now and I read to the end. It was like visiting Tolkien's world's.
