After reading this book, that was recommended by someone who had read it and found it to be life-changing, I feel geared up and ready to attract abundance into my life! Only the future will tell if it works or not...

Pros/Reasons for buying
1. Needed a spiritual and behavioral thinking change that would prosper me
2. This book discusses money in a very positive manner as some people have a money blockage due to the thought that money is evil; money is energy and the energy that YOU create makes it good vs evil
3. Not complicated, and not totally focusing on the physical but perfectly blending the two
4. It's more about feeling your way into things, to get back to the sensitive beings that we are and use this for the positive
5. My thought pattern changed after this book due to explaining that money isn't bad, and isn't what makes us greedy, or that it's against some religious beliefs. That money can also be spiritual.

In the beginning of the book, it explains that the physical, earth based laws of money are well explained elsewhere but that the spiritual laws of money/abundance are outlined and explained in this one. Abundance encompasses much more than money, it also refers to our thinking and how that needs to be changed in order to manifest what we want. And, I have not seen this in any other book on this subject, part of the change is to want other people to experience abundance also, whether they be friends, family or strangers.
To people who say that there are no exercises, there is usually a guided meditation at the end of each chapter as well as suggestions sprinkled throughout. I would certainly recommend writing the affirmations they suggest, as well as your own, and your wants and needs for abundance. So this is a spiritually based book and yes, any books by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer are considered "channeled" books, with the bulk of the message by their guides. If you have issues with that, consider that spirit guides have the same source as angels and other highly evolved spiritual beings. Consider the messages you get and decide whether they are for your highest good. If so, then it will be to your benefit to read and practice what's in this book. It's completely up to you.
One other note: there is a website with CDs (or downloads) to accompany the book as well as other topics. Not sure if the CDs are available from other sources like the store.

update: 11-29-13 I am just a few pages from finishing this book and am reflecting on how much it has opened my eyes to true abundance. It is full of wisdom and I will use it as a reference for some time to come.

Owning dozens of these types of law of attraction books, I've found this publication to be one of the most clear and comprehensive on the subject of manifesting money. Principally, there's nothing new presented here; what is presented, however, is explained in a more straightforward and practical way than many other books on the same subject. It's a good companion to Wattles' "The Science of Getting Rich" for anyone desiring to understand the principles of manifesting abundance. It's an uplifting and encouraging read for those who are still living from paycheck to paycheck and are buried in debt. One thing you are taught is that money flows cyclically, in tidal style, much like the ocean waves. Ebbing (when more money is flowing out than coming in), is but a temporary and natural occurrence, and never a cause to panic. There are practical steps provided in how to magnetize money, to include several visualization exercises. It's a book worthwhile to own and copiously underline and highlight. I'm not very keen on the "channeling" aspect of how the material was allegedly received by the author, but I'm willing to look past it all as a mere curiosity in order to focus more on the weighty and relevant subject matter. And in this aspect, the book definitely delivers.

Subtly different from other Law of Attraction money books--but then, the more you become atuned to subtlety, the less subtle it becomes! I found this book to be hugely valuable, as it triggered some honest personal exploration of my belief systems. Everything we experience in reality is a product of beliefs and I *believe* there is no built-in agreed-upon meaning to things otherwise. So, "change your beliefs, change your life" it is.

There are great exercises at the end of each chapter. The most prevalent is some version of "magnetizing to you," in a meditative state, people and stuff to help you achieve your desires. In Abraham-Hicks jargon, you'd call them "cooperative components." Roman and Packer (and their channeled counterparts) gently show you how it's possible to have what you want without so much outward striving. Or, at least how to do the magnetizing first so that the ensuing effort will be far more efficacious! Their perspective dovetails nicely with the teachings of Bashar (another channeled entity, via Darryl Anka), whose wisdom I've grown rather fond of lately. If you're into this sort of woo-woo stuff, I highly recommend checking him out--especially his stuff around Changing Core Beliefs.

Overall, CM (as my boyfriend and I fondly refer to it) is a very inspiring and potentially life-changing read. I give it 4 rather than 5 stars only because I found the writing to be awkward at times. But I suppose discarnates do the best they can with the whole human language thing... : )

I am going through a especially difficult in my life and reading keep me inspired not to give up my fight for justice and that is how I came to read this book after reading another of Sanaya Roman's books previously , which I actually found better than this one, although on a different subject. I found this book contains a lot of repetitions but I find the critics that this book is aimed at people owning business quite not fair. I was half way the book when I found the first references to owning your own business, so this book is really aiming at everybody. There also a lot of good affirmations. There are also exercises you can fill in which make you think about what you really want. I have to say that I had a bit of difficult getting my head around manifesting the essence of what one wants to attract. There are a number of stories which illustrate what the authors want to convey and they are really interesting to read. They also urge you to start living your life today, not wait for when you get what you want and I have put that into practice. One of my wishes is to touch people's souls and to make a difference in their lives. At this time I have no money to spare but I try to give a little something if someone in the street is singing or playing a particularly nice song and with that I don't mean just money but also a smile and an encouraging word, especially now that it is almost Christmas but something else happened a few days ago, which really showed me that you don't need to have much yourself to make a difference in someone else's life: The choir I sing with sang in Newport (outside of Cardiff), a little while ago to aid a charity. The charity was there selling raffles and although I am not at all into all these modern, institutionalized charities I did buy two tickets and they took my telephone number so that they could call me in case I won a prize, as we couldn't wait around all day. A few days later, out of the blue they phoned me and yes, I had won a haircut in a hairdresser in Newport, which is too far away for me to go to but then I had this idea… why wouldn't I give it to a lady who can't afford to have her hair nicely cut in time for Christmas? That might put a smile on to someone's face….. So I called the hairdresser and suggested they find someone, which they promised to do. That goes to show that if your mindset changes, even if you don't have much to give you will always find a way to make someone else happy!

Another thing this book and others stress out is the need to follow your passions. Don't just do a job, work at whatever you are passionate about, even if right now it seems that you will never make a living doing it because you eventually will and will be a lot happier in the process, not to talk better at what you do. Another thought provoking bit of text is: enjoy overcoming the obstacles because moving through them add to your sense of accomplishment when you get what you want! Maybe life many times puts us on the spot to make sure that we deserve what we are about to get and maybe it even gives us much more than we asked because we stuck to our goals, no matter how difficult the journey was? I try to think about that every time I feel that I don't have what it takes to get through the very difficult journey I have been going through. So all in all this is a book worth reading and it is surely not only about money but about becoming a better person, I just wish that it was better written!

At first I thought this book was just another "wish it and it will be". It's actually better then that. It gives a little better advice. However the exercises are things I've been doing later in life instinctively on my own. It would have been great to read this book when I was a clueless teenager.

I bought this book at the Bodhi Tree in Hollywood although I was not particularly interested in reading a book that was channeled, and I ended up loving this book. It's well-written, clear, and explains how anyone can use the power within to manifest prosperity. I would definitely recommend this book. It was called Creating Money: Keys to Abundance. I haven't really thumbed through this edition, but looking through the table of contents, the chapter headings are very similar. I can't imagine that they'd rewrite the whole book, but just update parts as necessary. The original was great. Anyhow, the older edition was great as it was more about the psychology of wealth, what it means, and how it affects us on a spiritual level. Money can represent many things and this books goes at length about the various meanings of money like abundance, well being, etc. It's a great book for clarifying the essence of what you want and making peace with money, understanding the cycle of giving and receiving, the ebb and flow of money. This book is really about how to deal with money in a spiritual way. It does offer a magnetic coil exercise to attract money, but this technique did not resonate with me. I need to approach manifestation in a way that connects with my soul. And I've found better techniques out there, at least for me. I would just read this book and try it out. It's definitely worth it for the understanding it gives you about the spiritual aspect of money. But if you would like to try some other approaches to manifesting abundance, I would look at Ask & It Is Given and Telementation: Cosmic Feeling and the Law of Attraction. "Ask" is great because it goes at length about the topic of relief and how to manifest things through that. But I feel that "Telementation" really offers a superior approach as it helps you focus on your desires like a laser beam. I do have reviews of both of these books, so you might want to check them out.

I have highlighted so many passages in this book, I could have highlighted the entire book.

This book is life changing for those who don't know that our thought influence our reality. It's very reaffirming and educating for those who already have ideas about changing their reality according to their thoughts, but don't really know how to attract money (financial abundance).

Most importantly, this book is not about getting rich, but about learning how to attract as much money as we think we need and deserve to have. It makes very clear that living a fulfilled life, self-love and listening to one's intuition (or higher self) are the keys for a great life. Having enough money is a direct result of getting the other things straight.

This book doesn't just make you feel good about making money, it teaches you a lot about life in general, so that you can learn to make money for the highest good of all.

Sanaya Roman is a great author who channels the wisdom that she is given into easy to understand methods. She speaks to ordinary people in such a way that they can relate these lessons to their everyday life.

She touches upon your belief system,emotions-feelings so you can actually start to see results in your life. I think this book is much more easier to relate to than the "The Secret" and more substance and less hype. Tells people that you do have to participate in your life. If you sit back and just wait for things to change. It won't happen. Gets rid of the victim mentality. People need to wakeup. You are not a victim. You need to take action to make positive changes in your life.

This book explains money as a form of energy, and how to get comfortable with the idea that humans are not designed to trade time/freedom for money. The book teaches that we are designed to experience joy and spend time doing what we love to do, and then the money comes as a natural by product. I have also read the Abraham-Hicks book "Money and the Law of Attraction," which is a complimentary philosophy on money, but the Hicks deal more with thoughts and training yourself to think in specific ways. The two books do not contradict each other, I guess because they are teaching the truth in different ways. This book does have meditations and exercises designed to bring awareness to limiting beliefs about money, but doesn't get into as many specifics as the Abraham-Hicks. It's a fantastic book. Super easy to read. Mine is all underlined and highlighted up. I've referred to it so many times since I changed careers a year ago.

Let me tell yall something about this book right here! So I am interested in attaining more knowledge of how to acquire more money. The books title interested me and I purchased it. I read the 1st chapter. Shortly after reading the book out loud I fell asleep. I had the worst nightmare in the dream of the most evil entities trying to attack me. I did not think of linking it back to the book so the next day I read it again and the same thing happened I fell asleep right after reading it and I did not even finish the next chapter. Again, I had a nightmare. All this to say the following day I decided to stop reading this book all together and I threw it in the trash. I no longer have night mares since then.

The title of this book is a little misleading, as the authors don't just help you attract money, they help you attract other things like helpful people, careers, relationships, etc. I bought it to learn how to attract money, and about six months after I finished the book, I received enough money to pay off my car and credit cards and still have some left over. If you aren't closed minded and are willing to do the exercises in the book, then I would highly recommend this book.
