In Bone Cold, Webb crafts a story featuring a minor character from Bone Deep, FBI Agent Tom Cuddahy. Horrified by what he witnessed in Paradise, and trying to move forward from the abduction of his daughter five years ago, Cuddahy throws himself into the search for the last missing brother. In the meantime, his estranged wife Sarah, a Detective, is working a child abduction case. The two seemingly unrelated cases are on a collision course bringing Tom and Sarah back together. When Tom and Sarah begin working together they are far more successful than each on their own. Together they are able to solve the mystery and bring the mastermind to justice.

Webb brings her masterful use of suspense to this new novel. Taking on issues as sensitive as child abduction and cloning, Webb treats both subjects with grace and understanding. Her latest novel takes readers on quite a ride. While it is nice to have read Bone Deep first, it is not necessary to fully enjoy this novel. If you haven’t read any of Webb’s novels yet, this is a good place to start. If you are a long-time fan you will not be disappointed.

It has been 5 years since Detective Sarah Cuddahy's daughter vanished into thin air, and she still blames herself for not being able to find her. In the aftermath, she lost a whole lot more .... her husband, Special Agent Tom Cuddahy, who she ruthlessly pushed away.

Sarah is now back on the job, but still taking meds for panic attacks which crop up almost on a daily basis. She has to pull herself together because the job is all she has ...and there have been 6 child abductions in the last few weeks. There are no clues, no ransom notes, and no bodies.

When the FBI steps in, wouldn't you just know it's her almost ex who is slated to work her case. Working together and trying to keep things on a non-personal level, they discover there are some connections among all these children.

They all come from rich families, they were all born in the same hospital, and they all have a sibling that was killed approximately a year before they were born.

I had an idea of what was coming ... but it was so much more than what I had imagined. The characters weren't perfect, but that's why I liked them. The storyline was mostly believable. Very good reading.

I'm giving it 5 stars because I've always found Debra Webb's writing to be satisfying.

My son's were abducted by a professional called Mean Gene. He called himself helping a father who had been "wronged by the courts" for a mere " $3,000 per head". Our story was the first parental abduction to receive international media attention. The press vilified me and the police protected him. I was abandoned by both families. My boss threatened to fire me because my clients were so concerned for me. I read this book to learn whether the author knew the depth of suffering I had, and still do experience. She did. the book was cathartic, but she generously omitted the suffering of the children with a thin fiction which also omitted the complicity of law and government. Read this for the characters of the mother and father. Then research the facts on child abductions. Purebred animals are better protected!

A parent's worse heart stopping fear: missing child. This novel, Bone Cold by Debra Webb is a masterpiece. She installs in the reader a sense of dread regarding the search for six missing children. Lieutenant Sarah Cuddahy of the DC Metropolitan Police knows this situation intimately in view of the fact her child, Sophie has been missing for 5 years.
No clues, no leads. Throw into the mix, her estranged husband Tom, an FBI agent now assigned to the case. The dynamics of this reluctant team and their search for the missing children and their kidnappers is a fast moving, action packed story that you will not be able to put down.
Ms. Webb is a skilled novelist capable of capturing your emotions as you venture into the hunt. Hold on for a exhilarating roller coaster ride.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Bone Cold, is continue from were Bone Deep, left off, with FBI Agent Tom Cuddahy, dealing with trying to move forward from the abduction of his daughter that happen five years ago. In the meantime, his estranged wife Sarah, who is a Detective, is working on several child abduction cases. These two seemingly unrelated cases are on a collision course that will bringing Tom and Sarah back together. When Tom and Sarah begin working together will they be able to solve the mystery and bring the persons who mastermind to justice.

As always Debra Webb, is able to take a very sensitive issue with the subject of child abduction that include cloning. You do not need to read Bone Deep first, to fully enjoy this story. Debra, has never disappointed me with any of her books. If you are a longtime fan as I am you will not be disappointed.

Another suspenseful read, I finished in two days because I couldn't put it down. Tom and Sarah's daughter went missing five years ago and their marriage fell apart. The only thing keeping them going is their jobs and then they get stuck together on a case. Now up to seven children have gone missing and Sarah is determined to do what she couldn't do for herself, find the missing children. Tom has a lead on what is happening to them, but will anyone believe something that sinister can actually be happening to them. You can read this as a stand alone novel, but you will want to read Bone Deep to get even more background on the story. You won't be disappointed to read both of them!!

Excellent thriller with plenty of suspense. Sarah and Tom's little girl had gone missing and was never found. As a result their marriage had fallen apart. He was FBI, she was a detective but they never dreamed a case would bring them together again or that they would be looking for missing children. Detailed plot, intriguing characters and a touch of romance make this an enjoyable read.

Once again Debra has written a really great book. It has suspense, drama and romance. Sarah is trying to get over losing her daughter and trying to find the other children that are now missing. In doing this she has to work with her husband Tom that she has not been together with in the years since their daughter went missing. They have to work their way through all the twists and turns that the terrible people doing this are throwing in their way but in the end they are able to come together as a family and also find the other missing children. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time you are reading it.

Bone Cold is a suspenseful must read book! Ms. Webb is a masterful story teller and has created characters that come alive on the page. Once I started reading I could not put it down! Bone Cold is one of the best written books that I have read in a long time. Even though this is a stand-alone book, I would also recommend reading Bone Deep. You will never be disappointed with a Debra Webb story.

Realistic characters, great plot, a bit farfetched but believable while reading. Family personal drama that touches the readers heart interwoven with missing and exploited children in a plotting that while hopefully farfetched may not be in a world where cloning is not so far fetched anymore. This is a REAL novel so far above most new kindle authors you know why this is an award winning writer. You will not be able to put it down in till done.

Excellent book with lots of twist and turns. I loved the plot because it really made me think about cloning and if it would really work like that. Could a child come back just like one you lost? Would people really want to do instead of having a new baby? I am not sure if Webb meant for the wheels to turn on that subject but for me they did and it would be a great topic for a Book Club. Overall, I would highly recommend this book.

Debra Webb leaves you hanging by the seat of your pants again in her book Bone Cold. You start out with kidnappings of 2 5 yr. olds 5 years prior to the start of the story. Now there are more kidnappings happening and when all is said and done at the end of the book you can never have foreseen the finale. I have to see I have not been disappointed in any of Debs books. She just keeps me wanting more.

How can she possibly move past this obstacle, as she races against time to save other children? Unexpected twists and revelations from her estranged husband adds to the urgency of their situation.

Debra Webb has done it again! !!! I was hooked from the very beginning! Sarah and Tom experience every parents worst nightmare when Sophie is taken. So when 5 years later children began to disappear, Sarah is determined to find them to prove to herself that she hasn't list everything.

Debra Webb's writing makes you feel as if you are there on the scene. And creates the prefect combination of romance and suspense! !!!!!!

If you haven't read it yet, don't waste another minute! !!!!!!

For this month's Kindle Lending Library I chose Bone Cold. As expected, the novel was a standard police procedural type of book (with some sci-fi elements). Though the premise and story were pretty standard fare, I really enjoyed the main characters Sarah and Tom. They were written well and given realistic characteristics which made them relatable. Worth a quick read through!

Okay, i admit i like happy endings and while this sort of does, in a way, it left me with this. Weird. Yes this is how i felt. At first this book had my attention. Missing child. Gone five years. Never losing hope. Marriage torn apart by grief. Then I was happy along with that WEIRD unanswered questions left inside me.

Another winner for author, Debra Webb! This story is a suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat type read. Sarah and Tom are married but have not been together for a long time......their marriage disintegrated when their daughter vanished five years prior to the start of this book. She was never found, and they both barely exist by trying to deal with the pain by just working. Sarah is a detective and Tom is an FBI agent. When they start to work a case together, life gets harder. This book has lots of twists and turns and surprises!

This is a very well thought out science/medical mystery that doesn't get overly involved in t scientific details. That actually makes the storyline more believable. The main characters are strong and vulnerable at the same time. The reader feels their emotional turmoil and roots for them from the beginning. A happy ending was the icing on the cake.

Couldn't put it down. The romance and thriller story lines were equally interesting and kept you on the edge of your seat. The ending was not what I would have wanted but fit very well with the storyline. It was so good, I read the prequel "Bone Deep".

This was a page turner. Dealt into possible science to a degree, depends on how much you want to believe what is going on that we do not know. I felt that there should have been more clues to the ending, it kind of comes out of left field. It does make you think.

Missing kids, families hurting, lives destroyed, scientists performing weird experimentation, local police, FBI, and other levels of law enforcement all trying to determine what's up with the missing kids. You're about to find out. Thanks for another great read.

This bok is centered around a family tragedy and a "mad scientist". While the story was predictable, it was a different take on child abduction. Good story telling of human nature, the good, the bad and the really ugly side.

I must have gotten a shortened version of this book. The character development was insignificant in several instances. Good plot. But the book stopped before filling in on what happened with the people who were a accessories to the crimes.
