I loved the characters in this book, and their interactions with each other. I also enjoyed learning how news stories come together, and the tension of dealing with murder kept me reading until I finished the book.

Really fun read - very likeable characters; believable and witty dialog; and well written twists and turns that made me stay up waaaay past my bed time to read it all! Great brain candy. I'll definitely be reading more of her books!

Stella came to life quickly and took off running. Well-written with a plot that never faltered. The peak into small town tv journalism was a treat. Happy to know that we've not heard the last of Stella and her colleagues.

Wonderful plot. Well written. Very interesting characters which were so real in this story. This journey through the workings of a small town t.v. Station is an example of a well-written book by a smart author.

I loved this book! Warm and cozy, yet a mystery. It was like sitting down with an old friend and listening to her life as it happened.
I can hardly wait to start on the second one in this series.

Truly enjoyed this book. Lots of regular people doing their jobs in ordinary life. Next add mystery, suspense, and of course the love hate angles and you have a story. Super job of putting it all together.

Enjoyable. While the mystery unfolds you learn something about a career you are unlikely to do. And the author's personal outlook infuses the book with an uplifting feeling, which is unusual for mysteries.

Easy quick read. Not very complicated but kept my interest. For the most part all the characters were overly nice; hard to believe everyone at a TV station is that team oriented. And hard to buy that competing reporters wouldn't battle over a story this big.

Loved this book! It's a light-hearted mystery with a hint of romance. I love the different predicaments Stella finds herself in, and it's nice to read a mystery that isn't dark and gruesome. It's the perfect beach read, especially if you're in the mood for pure romance.

I enjoyed this first book in the Stella Reynolds mystery series. The plot was interesting and Stella's mishaps were funny and believable.
However, there were several typos and/or editing errors. I hope more care is taken in the second book.

I loved the plot and the characters.... BUT... the filthy language turned me off big time.... I should have stopped reading as soon as I read the first ugly words... But I didn't... By the time GOD'S name was used in vain, I was hooked... My GOD DOES NOT HAVE A LAST NAME.. I will not purchase any of your books as long as you use the f-bomb and GOD'S name in vain.
