This gentleman was simply amazing! Everything he exuded was pure intelligence and I've rarely ever found another self help success book that is hard to put down.

The power of the mind is so incredible that sometimes things seem impossible or improbable but if manifested of pure intent in the mind then the results are there! Changes and transformations have come about in my life, just because of a slight shift in thinking and then a disciplined effort to keep on with that new frame of thought. And of course one needs to also shift the rest of one's life and/or thoughts in alignment with this new thought gem.

Another powerful book is Free Today for the last day - Slimming Down and Loving it! by Dr Inessa
( http://www.the store.com/dp/B00HWMWV6U )
It teaches you to completely revamp how you appreciate and acknowledge food in your life. Check it out at no cost :)

Hope you're all having an amazingly spectacular day :)

Those were my thoughts as I was browsing books in the business section of my favorite book store. I already read Think & Grow Rich, Law of Success and Success Through PMA. What else could Napolean tell me?
This book is more like having Napolean Hill as your personal coach. It is like a written workshop with exercises and self analysis techniques. Hill also takes each of the 17 principles, dissects them and explains them in more detail than in Think & Grow Rich.
I always tell people that if you are going to buy just one Napolean Hill book, make it Think & Grow Rich. But if you are like me, if you like to feed your mind with good mental protein, then I would add this one on as well. It complements Think & Grow Rich.
For the price of a meal you can create the mental attitude of a champion. Well worth the price.

Please be advised that this book is NOT WRITTEN BY NAPOLEON HILL. It is a rework of his writing of the other twelve books he wrote while his was alive. This book was published in 1994(per the published date in the book)and Napoleon Hill died in 1970.

If you are going to read and learn from Napoleon Hill, I suggest you buy the books he actually authored and not these rehashed, updated versions of his books. The twelve books Napoleon Hill wrote are: Law of Success(1928), The Magic Ladder to Success (1930 and if you are looking for information on Master Minds, this is the one to read), Think and Grow Rich(1937), How to Sell Your Way Through Life(1938), Mental Dynamite(1941), The Master Key to Riches(1948), How to Raise Your Own Salary(1953), Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude(1959 co-authored with W. Clement Stone), PMA Science of Success Course(1961), Grow Rich With Peace of Mind(1967), Succeed and Grow Rich Through Persuasion(1970)and You Can Work Your Own Miracles(1971, a year after Hill's death). These dates are per the Napoleon Hill Foundation.

I have just finished the Audio Cassette version of this and it is a must! The principles are sound and they are conveyed with a clear thought. This should be the starting point for anyone who wants to get a grasp on what it takes to get and keep success. I can clearly see what seperates the winners from the average or below average people in society. This is a timeless principle and you cannot go wrong with it - the principles are as true today as they were then. Now just get it - that is if your seriuos about success. Don't sit on the fence!

This well written book contains a wealth of knowledge that when applied, without fail, produces success. We utilized this book in a homeschool setting for our teens, who then applied these 17 principles and started a business of their own with great success.

You know who failed with Napoleon Hill's advice? Answer: Napoleon Hill! Oh Yes, Hill died penniless. Hill was the founder of what is a success racket that never dies. Hill made a lot of money selling his books but he squandered it all; more than once. Hill could not create wealth, he could only take people's money for selling the empty promise of teaching you how to create wealth. Those who actually figured it out simply wrote and marketed their own "success" advice. That racket is going strong, bilking each new generation by just rehashing the same drivel written in the ever changing language of the naive young, so that those who catch on can, again, rework the scam for the next set of plebes. If you're thinking about buying a "success" book make sure it has concrete directions about how to start a business and make it work, and, that the author made their money building wealth, not giving motivational advice.

Although this book should not be compared to Think & Grow Rich, since others already have, all I add is that it expands on the content in Think & Grow Rich. Think & Grow Rich was a great intro to the 17 principles of success and has a lot of content. This book expands on those concepts. Read Think & Grow Rich first, then add this one.

Of all the information & resources available these days about creating wealth & success I recommend everything by Napoleon Hill for sure! His info is among the BEST (top) starting points available!
He was one of the first people to gather and publish information from personal 1-on-1 interviews and studies of other highly-successful people.
In fact, his work helped lead me to the idea for my #1 Best-Seller 'Conversations with Millionaires' followed by my 'Conversations with Female Millionaires' book as well!
Doing both of those books (after I was a Featured Success Story on a TV Infomercial called 'Creating Wealth') really helped me make a positive impact in other people's lives. So, Napoleon Hill earned my MASSIVE appreciation and admiration beyond just the great information in his individual works for sure!
Whether you've already read either 'Conversations with Millionaires: What Millionaires Do to Get Rich, That You Never Learned About in School!' or 'Conversations with Female Millionaires' or not, Napoleon's information is a GREAT addition to your knowledge base! So, grab a copy ASAP and enjoy it to the fullest!

I read it with utmost interest. Very good book indeed. WHAT HAPPENS IS THAT I BOUGHT ANOTHER COPY OF A NEW BOOK TO GIVE AS PRESENT TO MY SON AND FOR MY DISMAY RECEIVED A USED COPY WITH PEN MARKS AND ALL. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FROM the store.

Sage words of advice on how to accomplish more in your life. My only complaint is that the whole tape seems to be narrated by Joe Slattery and it is not read nearly as enthusiasticly as the original recordings made by Napoleon Hill himself.

great information, but a little out dated
the positive mental attitude is awesome, and gets you pointed in the right direction, but lack's in the area of taking action!!!
positive mental attitude is great, but you need to take action along with PMA to reach total personal achievement in life.

Anythihg written by Napolean Hill is a benefit to the reader. He was one of the original teachers of the information now being promoted in the Secret movie. The information is not a secret, but you must be ready to hear (or read) it. Hill's first book, Think and Grow Rich is the best place to start, followed by this book. In that order you will have a better understanding of the message he is giving.

I would recommend this book to every living soul on earth. Though times have changed, the principles in this book would hold true forever and are the basics for being sucessful in every aspect of life. It makes us what we call a true human being.
Reading this book would be a key milestone in your life. It not only gives the much needed peace to our restless soul but also shows how to harness the real power inside us.
Probably the best investment of my life untill now.

Service good... Product not so good. One tape was broken. I contacted the company, they sent me a new one. After one listen through the new tape popped as well. I did not bother ordering a new one. I'll try and stick to CD's. Good service though.
