Blood Magic really surprised me because it was not what I thought it would be like. And it’s that surprise that made me love the book even more than I thought I would! This book is all about Ariel, the scar on her face, Dash in recuperation, and how Quinton, Ty, Abel, Addison, Julian, and Damien take it. We see that Quint is obviously so in love with Ariel and can’t take the guilt of her having a scar now. We see how Ariel clearly loves him back and wants that guilt gone. We see how everyone is worried over Dash, and how he is just glad to have Ariel with him. We see how Abel and Addison hate being alone, and they get jealous of all the attention she gives everyone, but feel left out of her attention. We see her give them the time they need with her. We see Ty and Julian fight over her and their past with the horrible Annabelle. We see how much she hates them fighting. We see her and Julian get a little closer. And we see her and Damien start to get to know one another. Ariel and all her guys are all in different levels in their relationship with her, and sometimes it’s easy for her to navigate and other times she struggles to do what’s best for her and them. But all these things make the book dynamic and interesting and different and funny to read. I’m dying with that semi-cliffhanger at the end, and I need to know if Ariel finds her dad, and if Marcus will make a reappearance in her life to help her, and why she’s been a mystery all this time. Ariel Kimber and her Brothers of the Flame are quickly becoming my favorite characters of Mary Martel, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!!!

This is the third book in the Ariel Kimber series, which I love! Whilst not a lot happens in this book action wise, we actually learn a lot more about all the characters. This book only covers a few days but it's an important few days for Ariel to start to uncover the truths and everything that's being hidden from her by the guys. I can see why some people may not like this book as they think nothing much happens or it's all a little long winded, but I actually think this is an important book in Ariel's character growth and development. I think that this author is very adept at making you feel the same emotions her characrers are feeling. She builds up characters with many, varied layers and you slowly uncover them as you read along. I think that the author is definitely building up a bigger story than we can see and I'm really excited to see what she's building it to and what will happen.
I, for one, think that this is another great instalment in the series and I loved that we got to know a little more about all seven guys in the coven, particularly Damien and Julian. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and I'm also looking forward to Ariel reaching a turning point as I felt at the end of this book she's decided to take more control of herself. A great read.

The best way to describe this book...awkward. The guys were awkward, the interactions were awkward, and everything about the plot was just off. I'm not sure I will continue to read because at this point-I don't really care for any of the guys, and I'm very ambivalent about Ariel because, quite frankly, she seems ambivalent about it all.

This is legitimately one of my favorite RH series. Ariel is an interesting and dynamic character. The author really puts work into making Ariel’s emotions and growth as a character believable. Some really awful things have happened to Ariel throughout the series, and her life in general, and in this book she’s not always okay - and that’s okay. She is healing and growing, and to me, that makes the character relatable. I love the guys in this series, especially Quinton and Addison, but Jules really grew on me in this book as well. I cannot wait for the next book.

I really liked the first two books of this series but this one was just OK for me. I felt like this story was really bogged down in useless details. Like the color of almost every piece of clothing she owns, the color of everyone's bedding, or how many buttons are on something. It just felt like the majority of the book was internal dialog whining about almost anything and everything. My biggest disappointment tho was that no really attempt at connecting more with the guys (except for a few times) was ever made. I really do like this series and will continue reading with the hope the next book picks up.

I really enjoy this series. It's well written and funny. I would like to see a little more going on with the guys it's coming out a bit childish and annoying. I'd like to see her grow up a bit and have more meaningful relationships.

Blood Magic starts off with Ariel and Dash recovering from what happened in book two. As she is recovering and hiding from the council that is in town, she can concentrate on other matters. Like all of the secrets and not being told what is going on. If she is to become a part of this coven the guys need to let her in. But that is proving to be more difficult than she thought. Whenever she thinks she is understanding one of her guys, something else comes up. While some bonds are getting stronger, others are staying the same. Ariel has a choice, commit to her coven fully or back off. The choice may be taken out of her hands soon, for the Council of Elders are not going away and they are very interested in Ariel.
Blood Magic did not have some action like books one and two did. It concentrated more on the relationship building and history of the boys. It is great to be finding out more about the boys and their history. Ariel is growing up more, after all she is young, and is coming into her own. You can see her making decisions and actually thinking of what needs to be done and what is best for the group. Her comfort level with them is growing as well. Loved the intimacy that is growing between her and the guys. A couple of scenes had me saying come on, do more, but I am enjoying the slow pace that is perfect for this series. I really love all of the guys, each one has a personality that is unique to them. I don't really have a favorite, okay maybe a few. Quinton is just so alpha, instant love for me. The salt and pepper twins are of course just as yummy. Julian is as always a sexy hot mess. Overall Blood Moon is a great addition to the Ariel Kimber series, it may not be as fast paced as the first two, but it makes up for it with the character insights we have as well as relationship growth. Still a slow build romance, but I have to tell you it just makes it that much sweeter when it does happen. There is quite the cliff hanger, and I am really needing to see where this leads.

Another great book to add to the Ariel Kimber series!
These books are very addictive. They reel you in and capture your attention instantly. You can't help but needing to keep reading, even when you have things to do! I love how we get to see Ariel's relationships develop. We get to see more of Julian and get more of an understanding as to what type of guy he is. We get more background on Dash that just makes me want to cuddle the crap out of him. Damien shares a little more about himself, Quinton is still Quinton, and I'll be damned if that isn't a good thing. We get a little more insight to Tyson's relationship with Julian and Damien and why things are the way they are between them. We don't get as much of my S&P twins in this book, but what we did get just made me fall in love with them more!
I found myself looking forward to what happens next in these books and how Ariel will face whatever comes at her, like the letters in the box and the events that follow, or the relationship developments, or the shady council guy! What is even up with that creep?! I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series! It can't come quick enough. Five stars gladly given and I'm still recommending the crap out of this series!

Another fantastic addition to the series that I very much enjoyed. I loved the amazing character building and learning more about the pasts of all the charterers involved, I especially enjoyed the Salt and Pepper twins :). If you enjoyed the first two books, and I can't see why you wouldn't have, you will definitely enjoy this third addition to the series and being begging for the fourth.

Great addition to this series. Ariel and the guys find out more about her past. She is getting closer to each of the guys even the ones she thought she wouldn't. I really want to know what the council is up to concerning Ariel though. They kind of freak me out. I can't wait to read book 4!

The first two were good, but this one seemed really disjointed and used a lot of the same interactions from the first. A few wrong character names used to make some convos confusing. It just doesn’t seems to head anywhere. Marcus said at the end of book two he was going to talk to Quinton about her dad but that never occurred.
And why was Marcus screwing Vivianne if he knew who rain was? Makes no sense.
