The Marching Season

I have discovered that I cannot put down any book that Mr. Silva writes. Even though this is one of his early works not one of the series that hooked me into his writing it is well done and totally engaging.

Daniel Silva is exceptional at keeping the reader engaged with historical fiction. He intertwines events with vast knowledge of the craft. I missed the Allon books and moved on now to the Michael Osbourne series. I'm very happy he's kept his art true to form.

Others have gone into the details of this book in more depth and more elequently than I ever could, so I will simply say it was excellent, gripping, fast moving and as interesting as all his previous novels...and I have read them all and hope someday to read them again.

Absolutely love Daniel Silva's writing, and his characters. I now have every one of these and can easily interchange the Gabriel Allon series with Jake Adams (Trevor Scott) and Cotton Malone (Steve Berry)

To the point, good historical background events, every chapter is interesting and at the end of each chapter, something grabs your attention and makes you keep reading.
One of the best books Daniel Silva has written.

Another winner for Silva in his third offering on spies, assassins, intrigue, double crossing, international chaos and betrayal. The psychological world of the assassin is offered up with an unexpected twist that will make you wonder more then ever how things might really be in that convoluted world of killing, love and fear. The pages turn quickly as you are totally immersed into a world few could imagine exists. This one is a must buy. Keep them coming Mr. Silva.
